Republican Speaker Boehner Resigns - McConnell Should Be Next

Facing opposition from many Conservatives in the US House of Representatives, Speaker of the House John Boehner resigned both as Speaker and from the House of Representatives effective November 1, 2015.  It is now time for Mitch McConnell, the Republican Senate Majority Leader, to do the same.  Boehner and McConnell and other long tenured Republicans in Congress have lost the support of the Conservative Base of the Republican Party.  Even after gaining control of Congress, these empty suits have accomplished nothing important to the base of the Republican Party.

We elected a Republican Majority to Congress to serve as the Third Branch of Government, with the Power of the Purse, in accordance with the US Constitution to roll back 100 years of Socialist Creep.   Most important, we wanted them to confront Obama at every turn even if it means shutting down the government to prevent Obama from "transforming" our country into a European style Socialist nation that is  bankrupting our country.  Instead, these RINOS have been complicit in creating even bigger government at every turn.

This is the reason Donald Trump and other outsiders are getting traction in their bid for the Republican nomination for President.   The Base of the Republican Party is sick and tired of RINOS, reaching across the aisle, or better yet just bending over to give Obama and his Socialist Pals in government everything they want and getting little or nothing in return.   We need Street Fighters in the Leadership of the Republican Party that are willing to fight tough battles to roll back Socialism.

Clearly, that was not John Boehner, who said in his resignation statement that his main focus was the protection of the Institution as Speaker.  To that I would say baloney.  Boehner's main focus should have been advancing Conservative Republican Ideology.   Both John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have never understood why we sent them there.  It is good that Boehner has resigned.  It is now time for Mitch McConnell to step aside, as well and for Republicans in the Senate to elect a Street Fighter willing to play dirty to get our country back on track.
