Forbes Top Ten US Cities Rating For Violent Crime

Forbes Magazine has published the top ten cities in the United States related to violent crime.   They are in order:

1. Detroit City, Michigan
2. Oakland, California
3. St. Louis, Missouri
4. Memphis, Tennessee
5. Stockton, California
6. Birmingham, Alabama
7. Baltimore, Maryland
8. Cleveland, Ohio
9. Atlanta, Georgia
10. Milwaukee, Wisconsin

These cities have more violent crime per 100,000 residents than any other cities in the United States. They all have something in common.   With the exception of Stockton, California, all of these cities are run by Democrat-Socialist Mayors.   Could there be a correlation between crime and Socialists running cities.  I think so.  Further, the Republican Mayor of Stockton was probably elected to clean up the bankruptcy that has plagued that city.  Socialists are soft on crime.  That should be pretty obvious from the data.  And, cities that have less gun control are always safer.  Well dah?  People that have the means to protect themselves, deters crime.
