The United States Is At War

The United States is at war with Islamic Fascists based in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Nigeria, Indonesia and other Islamic countries. That is not to say that the United States is at war with all Moslems; but that our nation is at war with radical, Islamists that would like to destroy the United States and our way of life. We had another wake up call this week as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab of Nigeria, with contacts in Yemen, attempted to blow up an American airliner over Detroit.

What is incredible is that Abdulmutallab was on a "no fly" list; yet somehow he got a Visa to enter the United States and was not prevented from traveling on this flight. His father has even been telling officials that his son was dangerous. It is clear that Homeland Security as managed by the Obama Administration and Janet Napolitano was asleep at the wheel. Obviously, those responsible in the US government for this failure should be FIRED. These Terrorists are actually enemy combatants and soldiers in the Islamic Fascist Army. To see them any other way is both naive and dangerous.

President Obama has reached out to our enemies and Russia and China and has gotten nothing in return for his efforts. For a while, the Obama Administration stopped using the words "War on Terror" and Terrorists; but unfortunately our enemies did not stop being our enemies. Iran and other Islamic countries and/or their citizens are funding the Islamic Fascist Army. Yet for some reason, President Obama refuses to get tough and call it the global war that it is. Obama assumes that a nice smile and lofty speeches will make this danger go away. It is time for a reality check.

Iran will soon have nuclear weapons if Western countries don't act together to prevent it from happening even if it means pre-emptive military action. If we learned any lesson from World War II, it should be that appeasement never works. We cannot count on China or Russia to help because they have lucrative business dealings with Iran that are more important to them that a nuclear armed Iran. Pakistan already has nuclear weapons, which are at risk of falling into the hands of Terrorists. It is clear that if the Islamic Fascist Army gains access to nuclear weapons, they will do any thing they can to detonate those weapons in American and European cities. Taking down an airplane, though horrible, will be nothing compared to detonation of a nuclear weapon in New York, Washington, or London; all prime targets.

President Obama is naive and inexperienced and is viewed as such around the world. Our President needs to be respected and feared rather than loved (an Obama need) to prevent an attack on the United States. It is time for Obama to start acting like the President of the United States instead of a Chicago community organizer. Closing GITMO serves no purpose and sends the wrong message to our enemies. Putting Terrorists on trial in New York City and according members of the Islamic Fascist Army the same rights as American citizens is ridiculous. These Terrorists should be tried in a Military Tribunal along with all enemy combatants.

Obama's weakness is a clear and present danger to the American people. We have to take back our country to prevent Jimmy Carter II. I lived through those horrible and shameful Carter years and we just can't go back to those years. The elections of 2010 and 2012 will be critical to the well being of the United States. We must elect fiscal Conservatives, who are strong on defense and who took International Relations 325 at University. To do otherwise, is to risk the security of the United States.
