Our Federal Government is Badly Broken

As a student and former teacher of American History and Government, I can say without any hesitation that our Federal government is badly broken. Our Founding Fathers, though incredibly wise in their deliberations when writing the US Constitution, could never have imagined the corruption we see daily in Washington DC under President Obama and the Democrat Socialists that control Congress. It is stunning to say the least. President Nixon was driven out of office as a result of the cover up of a stupid break in. President Clinton survived impeachment; though he was guilty of perjury related to his sexcapades.

But in my life time, having lived through 12 Presidents, including Obama, we have never seen anything like the corruption we have in Washington today. The Democrat Socialists actually caused the financial meltdown as a result of all the money they were getting in campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which prevented any serious regulation of these lenders. And, the Democrat Socialists are literally bankrupting our country with Trillions of dollars in deficit spending as a pay back to all their Peeps. It is just sickening.

HealthScare, with all the bribes and pay-off's to buy votes, is just the tip of the ice berg. The SwindleUS Plan, that has done nothing to bring about economic recovery, is just one big pork laden $780 Billion give away to fund big government. CAP & TAX is all about more taxes, taxes, taxes to grow government even more. Many of the bail outs are nothing more than a government power grab by Socialists. The fact is that Government that governs least govern best. Instead, just about everything managed by the government is bankrupt including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Amtrac and the Post Office. Yet the Democrat Socialists that control Congress and President Obama are determined to create another huge entitlement with HealthScare. These Democrat Socialists are hungry for power over our lives, which they plan to accomplish through significantly higher taxes and redistribution of income. We have to stop it at all costs because in the end, we are fighting for our freedoms.

HealthScare will result in all kinds of legal challenges as many aspects of HeathScare like mandatory purchase of health insurance, sweet heart deals for certain states and issues related to equal protection under the law will be challenged in court. Various groups and state Attorney Generals are already planning class action lawsuits. As such, the battle related to HealthScare, if passed, is far from over. Ultimately, the Supreme Court will determine the Constitutionality of HealthScare because clearly the Democrat Socialists in Congress represent Government Gone Wild not the American people.

Our Federal Government is Badly Broken. Democrat Socialists are bankrupting our country to buy votes and remain in power. It is disgusting. We need to amend our Constitution to finish the work of our Founding Fathers. We need Term Limits to end the corruption in Washington. We need a Balanced Budget Amendment to stop the Trillions in deficit spending that is going to turn the United States into a banana republic and result in civil strife. And, finally, we need a Limit on Federal Taxation unless approved by 2/3 of the states.

It is clear that we need more checks and balances because politicians of both political parties have proven that we cannot trust them to protect the interests of the American people. We have to take back our country through an election revolution in 2010 and 2012. Get your check books ready to support Conservative candidates committed to fiscal sanity. We The People must take back our country because our Federal Government is Broken beyond repair. We can do it. We have to do it to save our country.

P.S. As I write this blog posting Democrat Socialist and Big Buffoon Senator Al Franken of Minnesota is speaking before Congress on C-Span. What a moron!! How could the state of Minnesota elect this big mouth character?
