National Security - The Buck Stops With Obama

As the finger pointing goes on in Washington DC related to the latest Terrorist attack by Umar Farouk Abdulmattallab, the Nigerian member of Al Queda, the Islamic Fascist Army, who attempted to blow up an American airliner, let us not forget that the buck stops with President Obama himself. While Obama likes to blame the Bush Administration for anything and everything, Obama has now been in office for a year. Obama bought the store literally and now he needs to both run it and take responsibility for the things that happen on his watch. Of course, Obama loves himself so much, that it is very difficult for him to admit that the buck stops at his desk.

Sure there is plenty of blame to go around. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who was not very well respected when she was Governor of Arizona, should be FIRED. Ms. Napolitano refuses to use the words Islamic Fascist Terrorist or Terrorism, or War or Terror just like her boss Obama, which demonstrates that the Obama Administration just does not have a clue about protecting our National Security. And, then there is CIA Director Leon Panetta, who failed to act on the information gained when the father of Abdulmattallab came to the CIA to tell them that his son had joined the ranks of Al Queda. Panetta should be FIRED as well. Let's not forget about Attorney General Eric Holder, who decided to try the 9/11 Terrorists in New York City rather than by Military Tribunal as enemy combatants. Holder should absolutely be FIRED. In the mean time, Navy Seals are being court marshalled for giving an Al Queda member a bloody nose when captured. This is just plain crazy.

Unfortunately, we all have to wait until 2012 to FIRE President Obama who clearly is in way over his head. Obama, the Community Organizer and Law Professor referred to Abdulmattallab as an "alleged isolated extremist". Mr. President Abdulmattallab is an Islamic Fascist Terrorist member of Al Queda. Until the President can say this to the American people and the world, it is clear that Obama just does not understand the threat that we face.

Mr. President, Abdulmattallab was tied to Anwar al-Awlaki, the American born Muslim Iman in Yeman who is suspected of radicalizing the Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who murdered 13 people at the Texas military base. This Terrorist act against one of our airliners was not just a "systematic failure" of our security apparatus as described by President Obama, it was the latest indication of Obama Administration incompetence and failure to understand that we are fighting a global war against Islamic Fascist Terrorism. This is Jimmy Carter II all over again.

Clearly, it is time for President Obama to get serious about our National Security. We need to take out Al Queda bases in Yemen or any place else they exist in the world. Closing GITMO is just plain dumb. When we capture Terrorists, they should be treated as enemy combatants and sent to GITMO for serious interrogation including water boarding, sleep deprivation or other techniques if needed to gather information to save American lives. Most important, the very notion that Terrorists would be given the Constitutional rights of American citizens and tried in American courts instead of by Military Tribunal is absurd and dangerous to our people.

President Obama proves daily that he is not up to the job of being President of the United States; notice that I said United States not the World. American Presidents are not in office to win global popularity contests or even the Nobel Prize, they are elected to uphold the Constitution of the United States and guarantee the safety of the American people as their first priority. Clearly, President Obama does not understand the oath of office that he took on Inauguration Day. It is bad enough that Obama wants to transform the United States into a Socialist nation with all his crazy Socialist Schemes predicated on high taxes and redistribution of income. It is terrible that Obama is fiscally reckless and that it will lead to the bankruptcy of the United States if not stopped. But what may be worse than all of Obama's other foibles is his failure to properly protect the American nation.

We have to take back our country in 2010 and 2012. President Obama is a clear and present danger to the American people. Obama and his left wing appointees cannot be trusted with the economic or national security of the United States. Sadly, more Americans will die as a result of Terrorist acts because President Obama is just not minding the store. As Teddy Roosevelt always said, "The United States should walk softly; but carry a big stick". Obama is pretty good at walking softly all right, it is the stick part that Obama just does not get.
