HealthScare - Pay Off's & Bribes to Buy Support

Democrat Socialist Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader of the US Senate agreed to dirty, sleazy, pay-off's and bribes to get the 60 votes he needed to pass HealthScare in the Senate. So now as members of the Tea Bag Movement, we have our target list of scoundrels we need to remove from office in 2010 and 2012. In addition to Senator Harry Reid of Nevada and President Obama who are both at the top of the list, all who care about the United States must donate tons of money to remove the following Democrat Socialists from office:

Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska - Got at least $100 million over ten years to cover Medicaid for his state that will not be covered for other states. This has become known as the "Corn Husker Kickback" to get his vote. That means that all of us that live in other states will be paying this subsidy forever. Nebraska is exempted from any additional Medicaid cost into perpetuity. Blue Shield of Nebraska and Mutual of Omaha will be exempted from an annual fee on insurers.

Senator Max Baucas of Montana - Got special benefits for 2,900 residents of Libby, Montana who have asbestos-related illnesses.

Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut - The Friend of Angelo, who got the sweet heart deal from Countrywide Mortgage, got $100 million to build a public hospital at a university in Connecticut.

Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont - Negotiated $600 million in additional Medicaid benefits for his state over 10 years.

Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana - Got $300 million to fund the expansion of Medicaid.

Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont (The Socialist) - Extracted $10 Billion to support more community health centers.

Senator Bill Nelson of Florida - Exempted Florida from $30 billion in cuts to Medicare Advantage to allow 800,000 Seniors in Florida to keep their benefits, while the other 21 million Seniors across the country will see major cuts or lose their Medicare HMO's including my Mom who lives in California. Nelson hit the jack pot of pork. I might add that finding a doctor that will take Medicare patients is becoming more and more difficult, which will only be made worse by the Obama/Reid/Pelosi HealthScare Plan.

Doctors and Hospitals in Montana, North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming will be paid more that providers in other states. Does this make any sense when cost of living in so many other states is significantly higher than these states?

Longshoremen were added to the list of high-risk jobs shielded from the full impact on the tax on high value health insurance plans.

The American Medical Association got elimination of the 5% tax on cosmetic surgery and elimination of cuts in payments to specialists and other doctors; though various bonuses will remain. Tanning Salons, that are primarily small businesses, will see a 10% surtax on their services. And, there is $20 Billion in new taxes on medical devices that will be passed on to consumers.

AARP - The American Association of Retired Persons, which is really just a big insurance broker, got the $170 Billion cut to Medicare Advantage as a pay off for their support. This cut in benefits will cause Seniors, that can afford it, to buy MediGap insurance worth hundreds of millions in commissions to AARP. I and many other have cancelled our AARP Memberships for this betrayal of Seniors. Shame on them!!

Drug Makers fended off proposals to allow importation of cheaper drugs from Canada and other countries and the government will not be able to negotiate drug prices for Medicare recipients.

The Insurance Companies will get 31 million more people, forced to buy insurance, or they will be fined. And, we will all pay higher premiums, which is probably the reason insurance company stocks have gone up.

So what did the American people get out of this sleazy deal? The answer is simple. Seniors will experience $500 Billion in cuts to their benefits in the next ten years and trillions in cuts after that. Baby Boomers now retiring have been paying big dollars for Medicare all their lives and we are going to end up with means testing, higher Medicare premiums, less benefits, rationing and death panels; just wait and see. All will experience $500 Billion in a variety of new taxes. Insurance Premiums will go up because of all the new regulations and mandates on insurance companies. And, finally this new unfunded entitlement to insure 31 million more people will lead to rationing and the bankruptcy of the United States. It is just plain fiscal insanity!!

P.S. Fox News reported that the White House Christmas tree has some unusual ornaments on it. One depicts atheist, Communist Dictator Mao Tse Tung, who murdered millions while ruling China, another has the face of a famous Transvestite and the third shows Narcissist President Obama's head on Mt. Rushmore. Clearly, the Obama's, as left wing radicals, are way, way out of step with the American people.
