The senior management at Apple has told its employees that they must return to the office three days a week and that working from home is no longer a full time option. So of course, woke Apple employees are organizing to protest the return to office order calling it "racist", what else. They claim it will make the workforce younger, whiter and more male. So let me get this straight. Showing up at the office to work next to other employees that are white and may be male is "racist".
The 100 largest companies in the US that have promoted wokeness have created this monster. When you ride the back of the tiger, you usually end up inside. It is time for Apple senior management to say to their employees, report to the office three days a week, or resign. It is just that simple. If working next to white employees is just too painful for some of them, tough. That actually is racist.
No company can tolerate wokeness that makes no sense. Apple has a very diverse employee population with a good mix of all races and sexual orientations. Their senior management has determined that to get the kind of collaboration they need, employees must come to the office three days a week. I guess that means getting out of pajamas three days a week, or maybe not. I am sure at Apple that if somebody wanted to come to the office in pajamas or shorts, nobody would think anything of it.
We have reached crazy in our country. The senior management of Apple must manage its workforce as it sees fit. While employee opinions should always be considered, if Apple senior management believes it is time for employees to come to the office three days a week in person, then so be it. Any employee that is opposed to this decision should just quit and find another job that will allow them to work from home full time. There are many companies doing just that.
