Nuclear Arms Race In the Middle East

The Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East has already began.   Saudi Arabia is in discussions with Pakistan, a Muslim nuclear power, concerning assistance for Saudi Arabia to develop nuclear weapons.  It was inevitable, since nobody in the region trusts Socialist Emperor Pinocchio Veto Obama to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.  Ironically, what is really happening is that we could see Israel and Sunni Arab countries cooperating to prevent Iranian Shia hegemony in the Middle East. 

The Saudis, Jordanians and Egyptians, all Sunni Arab countries, are very threatened by the Persian Iranian Shia influence that is now all around them.  Iran is taking over Iraq in its battle with Sunni ISIS.  Iran is in the process of taking over Yeman and Libya.  Iran backs Bashir Assad in Syria again in his fight against Sunni ISIS.  Iran is behind Hamas and Hezbollah at war with Israel.  This is fast becoming a Sunni - Shia battle, since these Islamic sects hate each other. 

Forget about the United States.  Don't be surprised if Saudi Arabia cooperates with Israel when it decides to destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities.  In this case, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.  Iran is now the biggest threat to world peace, since the old Soviet Union.  Sunni Arab countries and Israel cannot allow Iran to take over the entire Middle East, particularly if they are armed with nuclear weapons and inter continental ballistic missiles.  

Both Sunni Arabs and Israel clearly see the threat.   They don't trust Obama and why should they when he has drawn red lines in the sand and then done nothing to enforce them.  Israel also sees what is happening in Ukraine, which was promised national security by treaty, signed by Western Nations and Russia, when they gave up the nuclear weapons based in their country.   Given Jewish history, the leaders of Israel know that they and they alone must act to protect their country.  

Israel cannot allow Iran to get nuclear weapons, whatever it takes to stop it from happening.  Sunni Arabs see the threat as well.  Just wait and see. There will be an alliance of sorts between Sunni Arab countries and Israel to stop Iran from becoming the predominate power in the Middle East.  It is just a matter of time.
