Republicans Just Said NO To Tax Increases

The Republican Party is the party of limited government, lower taxes and less regulations.   If the Republican Party strays from these tenets, it will be the end of the Republican Party because we don't need a Socialist Party Light.  It is for that reason that the votes were not there for Republican Speaker of House John Boehner's Plan B that would have raised taxes on married couples and small businesses, earning in excess of $1,000,000 a year.

The reality is that Republicans know that we have a spending problem, not a revenue problem.  Obama is borrowing and spending $6 Billion a day to fund his Socialist Schemes, adding to our $16 Trillion National Debt, with no end in sight.   Raising taxes on anyone will not solve this problem, particularly since Socialists will not cut spending that impacts their PEEP's, those on the dole, the 50% of Americans that pay no income taxes at all, public employee union members, radical feminists and environmentalists, illegal aliens and crony Capitalists.   In fact, Obama wants to spend even more.

And, unless Entitlements, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are reformed to save these programs, it is impossible to prevent the economic collapse of the United States.   Socialists will not make the necessary changes to these programs to prevent the bankruptcy of the United States and the resultant loss of our national sovereignty.  Conservative Republicans in Congress know all of this so they JUST SAID NO to any tax increases that will do nothing to deal with any of this.

Good for them.   Standing by Republican principles is the only way to get our country back on track to restore economic growth and job creation again in America.   And, it is important to recognize that there is a divide in this country.  Obama and the Socialists do not have a mandate to raise taxes, since 48% of Americans voted for Romney, the House of Representatives is controlled by Republicans, there are 30 Republican Governors, the majority, and many state legislatures are controlled by Republicans.   Certainly, it is clear that many Americans do not support Obama's Socialist Schemes.

We are likely going over the Fiscal Cliff.   There is likely to be no agreement before December 31, 2012 between Republicans and the Socialists in Congress.   When it happens, at least for a few months, taxes will go up on everyone, until the adults in Washington DC get real.   It's OK, it is not the Mayan end of the world.  Life will go on and just maybe the Socialists in Washington will recognize that a 35% top federal income tax rate, under the Bush Tax Cuts, is more than enough; particularly when coupled with the 21 new taxes in ObamaCare and all the state and local taxes that hit the "rich" in America.   Enough is enough.
