Washington DC Is Broken - Just More Debt

Both the Socialist Party and the Republican Party in government in Washington DC are apparently incapable of dealing with our nation's fiscal mess.   The United States is headed toward bankruptcy and a loss of our national sovereignty, since Obama is now borrowing $6 Billion a day, 46 cents out of every dollar we spend, $239 million every hour to fund his Socialist Schemes.   Keep in mind, the highest annual deficit every run by  Bush II, in any given year, was about $400 Billion.   Bush added $4 Trillion to the National Debt in 8 years.   Obama has added nearly $6 Trillion to the National Debt in just 4 years.  Obama has borrowed in excess of one trillion dollars each year he has been in office, adding to our $16 Trillion National Debt, with no end in sight.   The interest on our debt, with very low interest rates, is now nearly a trillion dollars a year.   Obama is out to destroy our nation.    That is clear. 

There is no serious plan on the table either by the Republicans, that control the House of Representatives, or the Socialists that control the Presidency and the US Senate to deal with deficit spending and our National Debt.   All of them are just tinkering around the edges.  Raising taxes, as demanded by Obama, will not solve the problem.   These characters are talking about new taxes to bring in about a trillion dollars over ten years and perhaps an equivalent amount in spending cuts.  

If this trajectory continues, assuming the markets will allow it, which will not happen, our National Debt will grow to $40 Trillion in the next ten years.   As of today, every household in America is on the hook for $140,000.   The level of debt that will occur if things go on business as usual will be astronomical and is simply unsustainable. 

People are out buying more guns, not just because they are concerned about government banning guns, Americans are scared to death of the economic collapse of the United States and civil strife that is coming.    Washington DC is completely broken.   Common sense just does not prevail.   We not only must reform Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid,  ObamaCare as new entitlement, will bankrupt our country.    

We need to cut spending by eliminating 500,000 federal civilian employees, out of the current 2.65 million, through normal attrition.   We must eliminate redundant departments, commissions and agencies, at all level of government, to get spending under control.   No politician, of either political party is calling for all of this to happen and unless it does happen, we cannot get government spending under control.    The future looks bleak because our elected representatives are destroying our country.
