Mitt Romney - A Loss For Our Country

Mitt and Ann Romney recently sat for their first interview after the election on Fox News.   After hearing their comments, it is so clear that Romney's defeat was a tremendous loss for our country.   The 51% of Americans, many of whom are uneducated and don't even understand our system of government, that voted for Obama, voted for a Hollywood rock star and snake oil salesman, not President of the United States.    We got Drama Obama, causing crisis after crisis, instead of the solid experience, intellect and integrity that Mitt and Ann Romney would have brought to the office.

Obama's reelection was a disaster for our country and we will come to see it day after day for the next four years.  Obama won by playing his PEEP's, those on the dole, the 50% of Americans that pay no income taxes at all, illegal aliens, union members, radical feminists and environmentalists, trail lawyers, students, Hollywood glitterati and Crony Capitalists.   To his credit, Obama maintained his coalition of Takers, while telling the Makers in our country to Go to Hell.   We see it everyday as Obama continues to divide our country to win elections.  It is dispicable.

Mitt Romney lost the election because he failed to understand that he needed to attract more Independents, many of whom are single issue voters, to add to the 48% of Americans that voted for him.  To get there, Romney needed nuanced positions on Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Abortion, Gay Marriage and Entitlement and Tax Reform.    While the economy was the most important issue, it was not the only issue for many single issue voters, something Republicans better understand if they hope to win elections in the future.

We are all losers, including Obama's PEEP's, as a result of Obama's reelection.   It will become very obvious in the next four years as Obama continues to push the United States toward bankruptcy, adding to our National Debt.  We will see continued high unemployment, higher poverty rates, slow growth, a lower standard of living for all American, higher taxes and more regulations, higher energy prices, bigger government and more government dependence as a result of Obama's reelection.   It is what is it.  What a loss for our country.
