President Obama & Religion

Socialist President Obama is having a hard time related to religion in America. The President recently hosted a dinner at the White House to celebrate Ramadan, the Moslem holiday. That would be fine; however this same President cancelled the Day of Prayer earlier in the year, which is a Judeo Christian tradition and has been in place since the days of Lincoln. Obama claimed he did not want to offend anyone by sanctioning an official Day of Prayer. Just who was he going to offend?

A short time thereafter, however, there were 50,000 Moslems in Washington celebrating their Day of Prayer. Good for them because praying to God is never a bad thing unless one is praying with evil intentions. What gives with this President? If nothing else, Obama is politically pretty stupid. I for one do not believe that the Obama's are Christians. I know, I know, the Obama's attended a liberation theology Christian Church in Chicago run by the Reverend Wright who is clearly a racist. Obama claims he never heard Wright's sermons, when sitting in the pew, when Wright repeatedly demonized Whites and Jews for years. I guess Obama was day dreaming about becoming President some day rather than listening to those racist sermons. What other excuse could there be?

The reality is that Obama used the Reverend Wright to enhance his Christian and African American credentials in Chicago to get elected to office. Once that was achieved, during the Presidential campaign, when Wright became an embarrassment, Obama threw Wright under the bus. Once elected, since moving to Washington, the Obama's have not joined a Christian church, which may be the case because they are not Christian. Obama has spent considerable time and effort placating Moslems and little or no time practicing his "Christian faith". Why is that?

And then just recently, Socialist President Obama came out in support of building a Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center very near ground zero in New York City where more than 3000 people were murdered at the hands of Islamic fanatics on 9/11. According to a CNN Poll, 70% of Americans are opposed to the building of that Mosque so near ground zero, which all see as hallowed ground. Personally, I would be OK with building the Mosque because religious freedom is fundamental to our First Amendment rights, except for one fact. The Imam in charge of that project refuses to condemn Terrorists like HAMAS that is attacking Israel. Further, the reality is that if just one family who lost relatives on 9/11 is against building that Mosque, then it should not be built. It is just that simple.

Originally, this same Imam named the complex Cordoba House in honor of the Moslem conquest of Christian Spain in the 8th century. The Iman had to back off from that name because of the symbolism that it represented. Moslems controlled Spain for 700 years thereafter until King Ferdinand and Isabella pushed them back to Africa in 1492 to unite Spain under Christian rule. And, the complex is supposed to cost $100 million. Given the Imam's ties to Terrorists, we have a right to know where that money is coming from where ever this Mosque is built.

Nevertheless, if those Moslems in charge of building that Mosque were doing it in the name of reconciliation, which must include condemning those who perpetrated 9/11 and Terrorist Groups around the world, it could be a very nice religious gesture. But that is not the case. And, what is even worse is that the US State Department is actually paying this very same Iman, who refuses to condemn Terrorism, to act as an Ambassador representing the United States to Moslem countries. What is President Obama thinking, or not thinking as the case may be. Putting this particular Imam on the US payroll is disgraceful and a slap in the face of the American people.

It does not matter where President Obama was born, Obama is not an American and he is certainly not a Christian. The fact is that President Obama is a Socialist, which is incompatible with Christianity. As such, we have to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by sweeping these Socialists out of office, including Obama. We need to elect a President who shares the Judeo-Christian values (not to be confused with faith) of the American people and that is not Barack Obama, or his wife who vacationed in Spain while 30 million Americans are out of work. What the heck was Michelle Obama thinking as she strolled the Spanish Rivera in Marbella? Michelle is another Marie Antionette, completely out of touch, when she said "let them eat cake" when speaking of the French citizenry. It cost Marie her head. If this insensitivity keeps up, Michelle Obama will assist in making her husband a one term President. That would be OK with me and millions of other Americans.

We must elect Conservatives who support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, a strong national defense, including securing our border and recognizing and fighting Terrorism, real energy independence and health care reform, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and Judeo-Christian family values. This is the winning platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to achieve economic growth and job creation.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives who support the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists Obama, Reid, Pelosi, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We can do it. We must do if to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
