Congresswoman Maxine Waters - Another Big Crook

10 term Socialist Congresswoman Maxine Waters from Los Angeles has been charged by the House of Representative Ethics Committee with using her position to secure bail out monies for OneUnited Bank. The reason for the ethics charge was that her husband, Sidney Williams, was a major stockholder of this bank, which faced insolvency. Keep in mind, it is rare that a Member of Congress is singled out for corruption because they protect their own, so when it happens, it must be really blatant. In the height of chutzpah, Waters is blaming the Bush Administration for her ethics problems saying that if Bush's Secretary of the Treasury Hank Paulson, had just stepped in to save her husband's bank, that she would not have had to get involved.

Maxine Waters has always been an irrational big mouth in the House of Representatives. Waters is a Socialist of the highest order who supports redistibution of income and hates free market capitalism. So naturally, when her husband's business got into trouble, most likely as a result of risky lending, Waters demanded a $50 million federal government bail out. She secured $12 million no doubt just to shut her up. Once again, we have a Member of Congress feeding at the trough.

Waters is another poster child making the case for term limits. She has been in the House of Representatives for 20 years. Waters is a bit of a buffoon, who makes a lot of noise as a Member of the African American caucus, screaming racism at every turn, so much so that other politicians do what is necessary to buy her off, mostly just to shut her up. What is wrong with this picture?

The corruption in Washington is rampant. Once again, I must ask the question how do elected Members of Congress, who earn about $170,000 a year and must maintain two homes, end up as millionaires after years in office if they were not already rich before they got there. Maxine Waters is just one more example and we have seen it with both Socialists and Republicans over the years. Once these characters are in office, millions of dollars in campaign monies flow their way. They use it to hire their relatives into the family business and they figure out ways to keep a chunk of these monies for personal enrichment. Waters' Chief of Staff is her grandson at taxpayer expense. How nice for him!!

We have got to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by sweeping these Socialists out of office and electing Conservative who support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, TERM LIMITS to help end the corruption in Washington, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, real energy independence and health care reform, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. This is the winning platform in 2010 and 2012 and the only way to achieve economic growth and job creation.

Most important, we must throw the corrupt bums out by electing Conservatives who support the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists Obama, Reid, Pelosi, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We can do it. We must do it to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
