President Obama Suffering From Amnesia

President Obama, who seems to have a problem with the truth, claimed on Sunday talk shows that he knew little of ACORN, the left wing community organizing group. When asked about the recent ACORN prostitute scam, the President said, "Frankly, it's not something I've followed closely". The President went on to say he was not even aware that ACORN had been the recipient of significant federal funding.

Mr. President, if you keep this up, your nose is going to grow just like Pinnocio. The fact is that Obama's association with ACORN goes back almost 20 years. In 1991, Obama took time off from his law firm to run a voter registration drive for Project Vote, which is part of ACORN. The voter registration drive achieved 135,000 new registrations and was instrumental in the upset victory in Illinois by Democrat Carol Moseley Braun over incumbent Democratic Senator Alan Dixon in the 1992 Democratic Senate primary. Ms. Braun went on to win the Senate seat in the fall election.

Obama's success made him a rock star as a community organizer. Obama then became a top trainer at ACORN's conferences. In 1995, Obama became ACORN's attorney participating in a land mark case to force the state of Illinois to implement the federal motor voter law. The law's loose voter registration requirements would later be exploited by ACORN employees in an effort to flood voter roles with fake names.

It is very clear that President Obama must be suffering from a severe case of amnesia. How could Obama not be aware of the business dealings of ACORN when he was instrumental in the organization's growth and development. Oh, but then Obama doesn't remember the racist rantings of the Reverend Wright while sitting in his church for 20 years. Obama claims he hardly knew various Communists and Socialists in Chicago when he sat on Boards with them.

Mr. President, you must think the American people are deaf, dumb and blind. We can see right through all your lies. You have a great smile; but you are often lying through your teeth. It really is humorous. Our first President George Washington was credited with the saying as a child, "I cannot tell a lie" when asked if he had cut down the cherry tree. Abraham Lincoln was referred to as Honest Abe. Perhaps we need to call President Obama Pinnocio because he sure has a problem telling the truth. As Honest Abe once said, " You can fool some of the people some of the time; but you can't full all of the people all of the time". Mr. President, please tell the truth all of the time because eventually the truth will see the light of day and you will be seen as a liar.

P.S. The President got caught in another lie on the Sunday talk shows when he said there were no tax increases in his HeathScare Plan. That is simply not true. It is also not true that if HealthScare is enacted that people will not lose their current health insurance. 10.2 million senior citizens will lose their Medicare Advantage private HMO Plans. And, many others will be forced into the government plan because the 8% fine may be cheaper for employers than insurance premiums.
