Obama's Shovel-Ready Projects

While speaking to a Jobs Council in North Carolina, Socialist President Obama joked that "shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected" in reference to projects that were supposed to be funded by the President's SwindleUS Plans.   Remember, one of Obama's justifications for borrowing a Trillion Dollars to spend on his SwindleUS Plans I, II and III was that this money would be used for shovel ready projects to create jobs.   If President Obama had ever worked in the private sector, he would know that there is no such thing as a "shovel-ready" project because it can take years to get permits to build just about anything as a result of local, state and federal bureaucracies.  And, Obama's gestapo, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is in business to stop development not encourage it. 

Again, Mr. President, please tell the 22 million Americans that are unemployed, under employed working part time that want full time work, or those that have just given up looking for work altogether that there was no such thing as "shovel-ready" projects that were supposed to create jobs.   And, the President should also tell the unemployed, many of whom have lost their homes, that his failed economic policy has made them road kill, along the "bump in the road" referenced by the President to explain away the rise in unemployment and dismal economic growth.

The fact is that Obama's SwindleUS Plan monies went to the states to retain public union employees on the payroll as a pay off to Obama's supporters.  As someone who lived through the Jimmy Carter years, it is clear that we are seeing Jimmy Carter II as Obama is another failed Socialist President.  The misery index which includes the unemployment rate, the foreclosure rate, the price of gasoline and other energy, the inflation rate, the dismal GDP growth rate all tell us that President Obama is a complete failure.  

In contrast to Jimmy Carter, who was a poor communicator, the President looks good and sounds good; but is completely incompetent just like Jimmy Carter.  Obama is truly a man in an empty suit with no practical work experience.   Obama would never have been hired for a high level job in the private sector given his resume; yet there he sits in the White House surrounded by fellow Socialists and egg heads, very few of whom have ever run a business, or even a lemonade stand. 

As someone who has run a global business and has created jobs, it is painful for this Blogger to watch President Obama on a daily basis.  Obama is such a failure in both economic policy and foreign policy (he has none) that there is no way there can be a good end to this story.   Clearly, if Obama is allowed to continue with his plan to "transform" our nation into a Socialist country it will not only lead to the bankruptcy of the United States; but potentially to civil strife and a much lower standard of living for the American people.   WE THE PEOPLE just can't let that happen. 

Instead, we must use those shovels Obama was always talking about to sweep these Socialists out of office in 2012 and 2014 by electing rock solid, common sense Conservatives (not RINO's) that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation.   This the platform supported by the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in our country.

We must take back our country in 2012 and 2014 to prevent the bankruptcy of the United States.   We have to finish the job we began in 2010 by sweeping Socialists out of office at every level of government.  Of course, we must make Obama a one term President.  We can do it.   We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.  Get your shovel ready.   We have work to do.
