The Tea Party Movement in 2010

The Tea Party Movement has become a powerful force in American politics. Contrary to the description of the movement as "Astro Turf " by Democrat Socialist Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco or an "Angry Mob" as characterized by Democrat Socialist Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, Tea Party members are fiscal conservatives who support a strong national defense and adherence to the U.S. Constitution as designed by our Founding Fathers, not big spending politicians of both political parties or the Supreme Court.

The Tea Party Movement is alive and well and growing. There are major protests planned throughout the year; but in particular on April 15, Income Tax Confiscation Day and again on 9/12 in Washington DC so that Democrat Socialists that control Congress and President Obama feel the heat of disgust and anger that is boiling in America against them. About 58% of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction, which is not surprising because the U.S. is a center right, religious country not a left wing Socialist nation as Obama and the liberal media would have us believe.

The fact is that we are Mad as Hell about the Trillion dollar deficits, HealthScare, CAP & TAX and all the other Obama/Reid/Pelosi Socialist Schemes. We don't support higher taxes and redistribution of income disguised as "social justice". We do support the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution; the right to bear arms as necessary to guard against government tyranny. The Tea Party Movement recognizes that Government that governs least governs best.

The Republican Party has a golden opportunity to win big in 2010 and 2012, if and only if, the Party accepts the principles espoused by the Tea Party Movement. That means nominating Conservative candidates committed to fiscal sanity and balancing the budget, a strong defense to fight Islamic Fascist Terrorism, the sanctity of life, term limits, restrictions on federal taxing authority without 2/3 of the state's approval and the right to bear arms. Some of these positions will require amendments to the U.S. Constitution to finish the job our Founding Fathers started because over time it has become clear that we cannot trust elected representatives to protect the interests of the American people. The corruption and pork barrel spending in Washington is just too great to allow it to continue. As such, We The People must take back some of the power that we delegated to our elected representatives because they have proven time and again that they cannot be trusted with that power.

We can take back our country in 2010 and 2012 provided we have conservative Republican candidates to vote for rather than RINO's (Republicans in name only), like Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins. Fortunately, turn coat RINO, Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania is likely to lose in Pennsylvania to Pat Toomey. Sleazy, Senator Harry Reid of Nevada is also likely to lose his seat in Nevada; though Reid will spend more than $25 million trying to stay in power. The elections of 2010 and 2o12 will provide us the opportunity to take back our country. The Tea Party Movement will be on the front line to make it happen.
