President Obama Finally Got Something Right

President Obama declared that the "buck stops with him" related to the complete failure of our security apparatus, which allowed a known Islamic Fascist Terrorist the opportunity to blow up a US airliner and kill hundreds of people; many of whom were Americans. This is the first time the President has taken responsibility for anything since Obama was elected rather than blame his incompetence on George W Bush. So Obama finally got something right; but since we can't FIRE Obama as much as we would like to see that happen sooner than later, other heads in his administration need to roll. Those responsible for this security failure either at Homeland Security, the State Department, the CIA, or on the President's National Security Team that failed to properly protect our nation should be FIRED. That is not going to happen because Obama refuses to hold his team responsible, which is absurd and dangerous.

And, it is time that President Obama acknowledge that we are are fighting a global war on terror against Al Qaeda's Islamic Fascist Army. Members of that army, if not killed in action, when captured are enemy combatants, not criminals that should be afforded the Constitutional rights of an American citizen. These enemy combatants should be interrogated to pump them for information and either tried by Military Tribunal, or simply held until there is a cessation of hostilities just like in any other war. Both the Bush Administration and the Obama Administration have released these enemy combatants many of whom have just come back to attack our soldiers and our country. This is just plain crazy. Fortunately, Obama did just issue an order to stop the release of any more of these enemy combatants back to Yemen. Well dah! Isn't this just common sense. Why would any President release enemy combatants so that they can go back into the battle field to fight and kill Americans. It was dumb when Bush did it and it is equally dumb if Obama does it.

President Obama needs to recognize that he is a war time President. That means that Obama must first recognize the enemy and call them what they are, Islamic Fascist Terrorists. Al Qaeda is committed to the destruction of the United States and our way of life. In saying this, I am not making it up. These are Al Qaeda's stated goals. If Al Qaeda had nuclear or biological weapons, they would use them against American cities. Mr. President, please understand that we are fighting for our survival as a nation. This war is no less important than World War II or the Cold War. And, it is the President's most important responsibility to protect and preserve our nation. While Obama has been focused on "transforming" America into a Socialist nation, Al Qaeda has continued to plot our destruction.

Clearly, we must take back our country. We cannot trust President Obama, who is turning into Jimmy Carter II, to protect our nation. All should feel less safe with Obama as President. We must elect Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 committed to fiscal sanity, a strong national defense and family values. We can do it. We have to do it.
