Democrat Socialists Want to Control Our Lives

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Democrat Socialists, acting as "Progressives" some times with the concurrence of the Republican Party have attempted to control our lives. We have seen continuous creep and loss of our freedoms at every turn. The US Constitution is a relatively straight forward document; but the Democrat Socialists have used the General Welfare and Commerce Clauses to justify almost every Socialist idea like Federal Income taxes, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal Aid to Education, the Americans for Disabilities Act, The Environmental Protection Agency, Amtrac, the federal highway system, Federal Gun Laws and the list goes on and on. Add to this Supreme Court interpretations of the US Constitution and we are so far beyond any intent of our Founding Fathers that if they were alive today, they would not recognize our country. Thomas Jefferson, would probably tell us that we need to have another revolution to throw off our oppressors to gain back the freedoms we originally had when the nation was founded.

Clearly, we have built a great nation since our founding; but daily we continue to surrender our freedoms in the name of collective well being. We were forced to pay into Social Security and Medicare when many of us will never see a return on those monies. Given the option, many would have opted out. We are forced to pay confiscatory income taxes that began as a small percentage on the "rich"; but has now grown to 40 or 50% of income when combined with federal and state taxes. And, now Obama and the Democrat Socialists want us to pay even more to support the 50% of Americans that pay nothing at all.

Obama's HealthScare and CAP & TAX Plans have nothing to do with health care or the environment. These Socialist ideas are really about imposing more control over the lives of every single American and even the illegal aliens in our midst. Democrat Socialists hate capitalism and free markets and support big government as the solution to every problem. The bigger the government gets, with more and more bureaucrats, the less freedom we will have as we will see laws and regulations governing every aspect of our lives. It is already happening. We need a license to do just about anything in life.

We have to take back our country. We are at a cross road. The creep of totalitarianism should be obvious to all with the election of Obama. 2010 and 2012 will be the most critical elections since 1900. If we don't act now to roll back these Democrat Socialist dictators, we will lose our freedoms. If we want to avoid another real revolution, we must elect Conservatives committed to fiscal sanity, a strong national defense, family values and smaller government. We must use the ballot box to stop the Socialist "transformation" Obama speaks of related to changing America. We have to take back our country. We can do it. We have to do for our children and grandchildren. We cannot allow this nation that has been the shining light of freedom for millions of people to perish.
