MSNBC Melissa Harris - Perry - There She Goes Again

Melissa Harris - Perry, the Black Socialist on MSNBC, the Mindless Socialist Network Broadcasting Corporation, ignited another firestorm when she said in a Lean Forward commercial that kids belong to the government, not their parents.  MSNBC runs Lean Forward commercials sponsored by their propaganda arm to advance Socialist ideology.  In this particular ad, Harris - Perry claims that we don't spend enough on public schools, even though we spend more than any other industrialized country in the world; yet achieve lousy results.

Harris - Perry's logic, or illogic as the case may be, is that if we recognize that children belong to the government, that we all would want to spend more on public education.   Adolf Hitler, as a national Socialist, held the same belief about the government owning German children.  This woman is perhaps the biggest idiot in the lame stream left wing media; though there are many other commentators on MSNBC that are equally as dumb.  This is the same crew that criticized a Romney family member for adopting a Black child that would otherwise grow up in poverty.  In any case, the last thing we need to do is spend more on our failing inner city public schools.

Instead, we should provide inner city parents, with kids in gang infested failing public schools, with school vouchers so that they can send their children to safe private schools, the same way most politicians, including the Obama's do in Washington DC.   Since the New Deal and Great Society, we have spent Trillions of dollars, a lot of which has gone to public schools trying to alleviate poverty and improve our schools.  Head Start that pays for pre-school for poor kids in nothing more than a baby sitting service.  There is no evidence that these programs have done anything to increase academic achievement.  In fact, poor kids might be better off watching re-runs of Sesame Street than heading off to Head Start programs.  In general,  the Federal Money that has gone into public schools, for the last 50 years has been money down a rat hole.

Ms. Harris - Perry, there is no substitute for children being raised by two loving parents.  The government does not own our children, or grandchildren, thank you very much.  Though we have reached elements of Orwell's 1984 with Big Brother watching and trying to control everything we do, eat, buy, own etc., however, the Socialists will take our children out of our cold dead hands; but not without a fight, guaranteed.
