High Gas Prices - Blame Socialist President Obama

Socialists like President Obama always claim that drilling for more oil in the United States would have no impact on the price of gas.   This is illogical baloney.  The fact is that Obama, right after taking office, shut down deep water drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, tightened federal restrictions on oil development, denied access to federal lands for oil development and veteod the Keystone Pipeline that would bring Canadian oil into the United States.  The end result of these actions and the refusal to allow drilling in Anwar in Alaska is that the price of gas has doubled since Obama was elected. 

At the insistence of his radical environmentalist supporters, Obama continues to chase windmills and advance crony capitalism to support his solar energy pals hoping that one day green technology will meet our national energy needs.  This is a pipe dream.   The fact is that green technology is decades away from meeting our energy requirements because the technology is just not there to do the job today.   Oil has to be part of our energy solution for years to come.   Raising US oil production to 10 million barrels a day,which is very feasible within a few years, would create 1.5 million desperately needed, high paying job directly with other 1 million jobs created indirectly.   More oil production would raise gross domestic product by $250 billion a year and cut our oil imports in half reducing the current $300 billion oil trade deficit. 

Obama,  who does not understand free market capitalism and global markets because he has never worked in business, obviously does not realize that increasing supply from whereever it comes will bring down prices and that is true related to any goods, services or commodities.   Mr. President, that is how it works.   If Obama had just taken Economics 101 and passed the class, he would know this very basic premise.  

Instead, it is pretty obvious that Obama studied Karl Marx Das Capital, the Communist Manifesto, that preaches class warfare and the power of the state through command and control economics.   Of course, that model has failed when ever and where ever it has been tried in the world; yet these Socialists cling to their big intrusive government utopian pipe dreams that have resulted in poverty, misery, a loss of freedom and many times murder. 

We need a 50 year energy plan to make the United States energy independent.  It must involve using all of OUR natural resources including oil, natural gas, clean coal, oil and gas shale and nuclear energy along with renewables.   Yes, we need to make carbon and nuclear energy cleaner, safer and cheaper; but they must be part of the picture to support the growth and development of our economy and millions of jobs.  These things cannot happen any other way. 

So as the price of gas continues to go up, all should blame Socialist President Obama because it is his radical environmental policies and the EPA, his gestapo agency, that are preventing energy development.  It is what is it.   We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 by sweeping these Socialists, at all levels of government, including President Obama, out of office.   Obama's policies have lead to a growth in poverty and a lower standard of living for our people, while bankrupting our country.  It has to stop.  

We must make Obama a one term President.   We can do it.  We must to it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.  In the meantime, every time you fill up at the pump, you can thank President Obama for the price you are paying.   Obama made higher energy prices happen just as he promised he would do.
