Socialist President Obama, in response to his radical left wing supporters, is at war with the Catholic Church. This should be no surprise. Clearly, Catholic Church official opposition to birth control and sterilization, abortion and gay marriage are contrary to Socialist positions on all these issues. Left Wing Radicals in the US supporting Socialists and contraception, unlimited right to abortion and gay marriage actually hate the Catholic Church and are quite vocal about it. In fact, many Socialists are atheists believing in government as their savior rather than God. It is what it is.
Yet, 54% of Catholics voted for Obama in 2008. Go figure. Many are long time supporters of Socialists; particularly since beginning with Franklin Roosevelt many blue collar and union Catholics saw Franklin Roosevelt as their savior. And, many of their Baby Boomer children just followed their parent's inclinations. These liberal Catholics are conflicted between the beliefs of the church and trickle down government in the name of "social justice". Even Catholic Bishops and many priests face this conflict as many of them mistakenly voted for Obama and supported ObamaCare. What were they thinking??
But now Catholics face a cross road. The Obama Administration has ordered the Catholic Church to provide contraception benefits, with no co-pay, within their group insurance policies to their employees in the name of women's rights. Can abortion be far behind. Remember, Obama supports the unlimited right to abortion, even partial birth abortion, all of which is infanticide murder.
The radical abortion lobby will push Obama to demand that the Catholic Church pay for abortions for their employees. Further, there has been a move to require Catholic Hospitals, that receive federal monies, to provide abortions. There has even been a demand that medical professionals that are conscientious objectors, related to abortion, be fired if they refuse to provide abortion services.
In the elections of 2012 and 2014, Catholics, including the hierarchy of the church in the US, will have to choose between sanctity of life and traditional family tenets of the church and Obama's radical Socialist Schemes to advance contraception, unlimited abortion and gay marriage. In addition, Catholics must choose between free market capitalism, as the best way to raise all boats to help the poor and big government Socialism designed to redistribute income in the name of social justice.
Socialist President Obama and his supporters are at war with the Catholic Church. As such, it is impossible to be both a practicing Catholic and a voter for Obama and his Socialist pals in Congress. The contradiction is just too great. Specific to Obama's demand, under ObamaCare, that the Catholic Church provide contraception benefits to their employees, when it is contrary to Catholic beliefs, is the hand of Big Brother Obama. ObamaCare will tell us all how to live and how to die. The federal government, under ObamaCare, will now be involved in all life and death decisions taking from us our freedoms.
We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 to get the federal government off our backs and prevent the bankruptcy of our nation. Socialists in government, like President Obama and his pals in Congress, are a clear and present danger to our freedom and our nation as bad as any external enemy we have ever faced in American history. We have to make Obama a one term President and elect Conservatives in Congress to roll back 100 years of Socialist Creep that is destroying our nation.
We can do it. We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren. In the mean time, support the First Amendment that guarantees religious freedom. President Obama has no right to demand that the Catholic Church, or any other religious group, violate their belief system to comply with Obama's Socialist Schemes. We said ObamaCare was evil. Every day we see this evil in action.
