Socialist President Obama is either clueless about the workings of the real world, or the biggest liar ever to serve as President. Facing a fire storm for requiring the Catholic Church to provide contraception coverage to their employees, when it is a violation of Catholic beliefs, Obama quickly announced instead that the Church would not have to pay for this benefit. Instead, Obama stated that insurance companies will simply provide contraception coverage for free at no cost to the insured. The only problem is that Obama has not gotten insurance companies to agree to this benefit for free. Mr. President, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GETTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.
ObamaCare Mandates have resulted in higher insurance premiums for all. As a company owner paying 70% of our employee's medical insurance premiums, we have already seen the increases in 2012 with more to come in future years. Again, there is no such thing as "free". Any kind of insurance is based on a risk assessment and the probability of utilization. Insurance companies can provide any level of benefit requested by simply raising the premium.
If President Obama had ever worked in a senior management position in any business, dealing with these decisions, he would know how this works; but the Community Organizer and Chief just does not have the real world experience to understand any of these facts. Since Obama has no practical business experience, the President has no way of knowing all of this, or if he does know it, then he is simply lying to the American people.
Further, state and federal government just got 5 major banks to agree to a $25 Billion settlement to deal with purported wrong doing in the foreclosure mess. These monies will be used to pay some small number of former homeowners for their losses, or perhaps to help them refinance their mortgages. OK, fine; though it will do little to deal with the housing crisis, or alleviate foreclosures, the banks will simply raise fees to cover this settlement. We will all end up paying for this loss to the banks. Again, Mr. President, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GETTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING. In the end, somebody always pays.
When the dust settles if something is free to one American, it means that other Americans must pay for it one way or another. The 67 million Americans that receive a federal government check of one sort or another are not receiving free money. Those on the dole are either receiving tax payer hard earned dollars, or they are getting borrowed money as Obama continues to borrow 40 cents for every dollar the federal government spends on the road to national bankruptcy.
We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 by sweeping these clueless Socialists, at all levels of government, including President Obama, that are bankrupting our country, out of office. These characters are either clueless, or just plain liars. Remember, Socialists will lie, cheat or steal to stay if office to continue feeding at the trough. It is what it is.
This recent Obama fiasco, related to the Catholic Church, is just another example of Obama's inexperience, incompetence and lack of respect for the US Constitution and religion in general. This is the President that said with contempt that bitter people in the Midwest cling to their religion and guns. Obama's attempt to require the Catholic Church to violate their religious beliefs is a violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution protecting freedom of religion. Enough is enough. We don't need Big Brother Obama intruding into every aspect of our personal lives.
Obama won election in 2008 with 54% of the Catholic vote. Obama cannot win in the Midwest without the Catholic vote. So now Obama is looking for a way out and that way out is for all of us to pay for ObamaCare Mandates. It has to stop. We have to make Obama a one term President and repeal ObamaCare. Obama is a clear and present danger to our nation, our freedom and way of life.
Obama has to go in 2012 along with his Socialist pals at all levels of government. We can do it. We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren. In the meantime, send President Obama an e-mail, or letter telling him that there is no such thing as GETTING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING. Somebody always pays for things that are "free". It is just a question of who gets the bill.

I don’t get it, birth control wasn’t a big deal in America 20 years ago… why is it now?
ReplyDeleteThere’s been a backlash by conservatives, some religious, some not. Progress is made in this country by taking 2 steps forward, and then forced 1 step back. It amazes me that the religious groups think it is immoral to use birth control and that these Republicans, who are supposed to be about personal liberty, think that this is ok! Women have the right to CHOOSE whether they want to start a family or not. Every time I hear one of the Repubs speak, I realize how much I dislike them (except RP)
The President arrived at a solution that satisfied all direct parties to the controversy. It is a compromise (if you even want to call it that) that gives up nothing—women will still be able to make their own decisions on birth control without having to run it past a bureaucrat, politician, or church official. It’s about choice and women are still the ones who get to make that choice. The GOP would like to take that choice away from women. President Obama, to his credit, didn’t let them.
I have lived under 13 U.S. presidents, and I can say without hesitation that George W. Bush is the worst president of my lifetime, and he may well be the worst ever. One would have to go all the way back to James Buchanan to find a president of equal incompetence.

Just look at what they did with the debt ceiling fiasco. The right held out held out held out saying they weren’t going to vote yes until their demands were meet. Well those demands were never meet the US credit rating took a hit. The only good thing from that was the American people knew who to blame the GOP.

Why is it that left wing liberals and otherwise Socialists can't deal with the facts. Your hero Franklin Roosevelt prolonged the Great Depression with his Socialist Schemes. As a former student and teacher of American History and Government, I was never taught by my liberal professors that umemployment throughout the 30's never went below 12% and was often as high as 20%. It was only World War II that brought us back to a full employment economy as 2 million men went off the war. Nothing Roosevelt did during the New Deal caused economic growth or job creation because Socialism where ever and when ever it has been tried in the world has always resulted in misery, poverty and a loss of freedom and in some cases even murder.

In the end, we will all be poorer for it even the poor. Free market capitalism, with all its boom and bust cycles is the only way to restore economic growth and job creation again in America unless of course, the real goal is to have 67 million Americans, a record number, on the dole one way or another, to buy votes and win Socialist elections. Cards talk and numbers don't lie. Obama has spent over a trillion dollars trying create jobs. How is that working for the 25 million Americans that are either unemployed, under employed working part time or who have just dropped out of the job market altogher. Specific to the Catholic Church fiasco, this is about First Amendment rights not access to contraception, which is readily available either free of charge from Planned Parenthood, the abortion mill in the neighborhood of for peanuts at any drug store. God forbid anyone should have to pay for anything in this country. OBAMA IS BANKRUPTING OUR COUNTRY. Past Republican President including Bush II contributed to the National Debt, as well, but not at the rate Obama is destroying our nation. Must we experience complete financial collapse as is happening in Socialist countries in Europe before left wing liberals, Socialists and Communists in our country realize that we cannot continue spending money we don't have. Further, if all assets of the so called "rich" were confiscated, which I am sure is a Socialist goal, it would still be impossible to cover the Trillion in Deficit Spending in the Obama trajectory.
