2012 Elections - All About The Numbers

Cards talk and numbers don't lie; but Socialists and the left wing, lame stream media do lie all the time.  If gasoline prices are above $4 a gallon on election day,  Socialist President Obama will be a one term President.  This particular indicator impacts nearly all Americans as we go to the gas station every week to fill up.  Though there are many other reasons not to vote for Obama, this single cost of living indicator will be a reminder that Obama's Energy Policy, or the lack thereof, has failed.   Gas was about $1.76 a gallon when Bush left office and Obama took over.   Bush had opened up coastal waters off the East and West coast to more drilling, which drove the price of oil down to $33 a barrel.  Obama rescinded Bush's Executive Order and now oil is selling for $105 a gallon.  Go figure.  These are facts not left wing Socialist or media fiction.

But why would anyone be surprised.  During the upcoming Presidential campaign we will see many commercials with Obama saying, in his own words, that his Energy Policy would intentionally and dramatically raise the price of all energy.   Obama is just keeping his promise.   The only problem is that more money spent on energy is less money spent on other consumer purchases and discretionary spending needed to grow our economy.   And, any money the typical American is getting in the Payroll Tax cut, averaging about $1,000 in 2012, is more than offset by higher fuel prices so no net gain at all for the economy.  This money is going to Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East that supply our oil.  It is what it is.

Energy independence is about National Security.   We need a 50 year Energy Plan that includes more oil drilling in the US, production of more natural gas and gas and oil shale, clean coal and nuclear energy.  In the mean time, we need to invest more money in research to make renewables like Solar, Wind, Geo Thermal and Bio Fuels economically feasible.   Actually investing taxpayer monies in the these technologies today, like the Solyndra fiasco and others, are a waste of money because the technology is not sufficiently developed to produce a meaningful amount of energy at a price that makes any sense.

Numbers will matter in the election in 2012.  In addition to the price of gas, real unemployment is above 17% when all are counted, the unemployed, the under employed working part time that want full time work and those that have just given up looking for work altogether.  Government numbers showing unemployment coming down a bit to 8.3% are phony and do not reflect reality.   Numbers are coming down because more people are just dropping off the rolls.   And, as people run out of unemployment insurance many are going on phony Disability, which is money coming out of Social Security, already facing bankruptcy.   There are 67 million Americans receiving some kind of government check and support, a record number since Obama was elected President.  Of this number, 46 million Americans are on Food Stamps, a rise from 26 million just three years ago.

Yes, the election in 2012 will be about numbers.   Let's not forget that our National Debt under Obama in his first term alone will grow by $5 Trillion to about $16.2 Trillion with no end in sight.  And, that Obama's budget and ObamaCare, if allowed to go forward, would add another $11 Trillion to our National Debt on the road to bankruptcy.  Of course, Socialists and the left wing, lame stream media will lie to reelect Obama and other Socialists in government.   We need to make sure that the real numbers get to the voters so that when they go to the Polls they understand that Obama's policies have failed miserably to restore economic growth or create jobs.   All Obama has done during his first term in office is push our nation that much closer to bankruptcy in his attempt to "transform" our country into a European style Socialist nation.

We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 by sweeping these Socialists, at all levels of government, including President Obama out of office.   When we ask our friends, relatives and neighbors to vote for Conservative to restore economic growth, create jobs and prevent the bankruptcy of our nation, tell them the numbers that matter.  We have to take back our country to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.   We can do it.   We will do it, armed with the numbers that demonstrate that President Obama and his Socialist pals in government are a clear and present danger to our nation and our freedom.
