The Two Koreas - Capitalism Versus Socialism

There cannot be a bigger contrast in the world demonstrating the virtues of  Capitalism and the evil of Socialism than South and North Korea.  Both countries are populated by people of the same ethnic origin and intelligence.  Both countries experienced abject poverty and devastation after the Korean War 60 years ago.   South Korea, under the military protection of the United States, became a democracy and adopted a free market Capitalist economic model.  North Korea, dominated by the Communists in China and the old Soviet Union, adopted a Stalinist, totalitarian Socialist model.  

Fast forward 60 years.   Tiny South Korea is now one of the largest economies in the world.  South Korean companies like Samsung, Hyundai, LG and Daewoo can not only compete on the world stage; they are best in class manufacturers.  Coincidentally, if it matters, South Korea is also one of the most Christian countries in Asia.   South Koreans live in a free country with a relatively high standard of living. 

North Korea, on the other hand, cannot even feed its people and as a result the population is suffering from starvation.   They don't have sufficient energy capability to provide heat in the freezing winter, or to power their other utilities.  The only thing North Korea has to export is nuclear weapons and missile technology to other dictators around the world.   Otherwise, the North Koreans don't produce any products that can be sold on the world market.   North Korea is not just a third world country.   60 years after the Korean War, North Koreans still live in abject poverty. 

This could be a Harvard Business School Study, if Harvard wasn't such a liberal institution often making excuses for Socialism.   South Korea is a Capitalist success story.  North Korea is a Socialist basket case by any standard.   But then again, this should be no surprise.   Every place in the world Socialism has been tried, the end result has been a lower standard of living, poverty, misery and a loss of freedom.   The two Koreas clearly make the case that Capitalism is superior to Socialism.

So why on earth does Socialist President Obama want to transform the United States into a Socialist nation when history teaches us it will mean a lower standard of living for our people, increased poverty, misery and a loss of our freedom.   Beats the hell out of this Blogger.   Now, Obama is trying to say that American families earning $90,000 a year or less should be classified as poor.   If that crazy logic were to prevail, that would mean that 146 million Americans, out of about 315 million, would now be called poor.   That is roughly have of all Americans.   That is ridiculous. 

Obama is doing this as part of his Class Warfare strategy to call this income inequality.   What a bunch of baloney.   Always remember, cards talk and numbers don't lie; but Socialists like President Obama do lie to stay in office.  Obama's goal is to redistribute income in the name of "social justice" to buy votes.   Otherwise, Socialists have no other message. 

Obama really believes that singles earning more than $200,000 a year and married couples earning more than $250,000 a year are "rich".   So that would mean that married couples earning $90,000 a year in Obama's world are poor, requiring higher taxes on the "rich" to provide more government support for the poor.  Dependence on government is then used to buy votes for Socialists so they can stay in power and continue feeding at the trough.   It is a vicious circle. 

We have got to take back our country in 2012 and 2014.   We can't tolerate Obama's Socialist ideology any longer.   It is now clear that this President is purposefully out to bankrupt our country to change the social order.  Communists preached revolution at the barrel of a gun.   Obama is preaching Class Warfare to foment revolution to turn our country into a Socialist, or perhaps even a Communist nation.   We already have riots on our streets as a result of Obama's divisive rhetoric.   These poor misguided dupes, on our streets, do not realize that they are being used by Obama in his war against the 50% of us that pay all the income taxes in our country. 

Mr. President, we see your shenanigans.  We are not going to let you destroy our country.   We have to put our hip boots on in 2012 and 2014 to drain the swamp in Washington DC.   We have to sweep these Socialists at all levels of government, including President Obama, out of office.   We see the effect of Socialist handiwork in the two Korea's.   We are not going to allow Obama to turn the United States into another North Korea.  Obama has to go in 2012 to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
