Obama's Failure In Dealing With Iran

Iran has been at war with the United States since 1979 when they took over the American Embassy in Tehran and held our Embassy staff members hostage for more than a year until Ronald Reagan was inaugurated as President.   Since then, Iran has been the chief sponsor of Terrorism in the world and it has resulted in the death of thousands of Americans.   They refer to the United States as the Great Satan.   For some reason, various Republican and Socialist Presidents have chosen to ignore Iran's hostile behaviors for fear that taking action may disrupt the flow of oil.

There is no doubt that Iran is developing nuclear weapons that represent a threat to the United States and our allies.   Thus far, everything we have tried to date to prevent this from happening has failed primarily because the Russians and the Chinese, that have significant business dealings with Iran, will not support severe sanctions.  As such, it is time for the United States to establish a coalition of the willing to end the Iranian nuclear threat.  While military action should always be on the table to make it happen,  we must pass legislation that basically makes it impossible for global companies, or banks to do business with Iran.    

We must do what is necessary to bring down the Iranian regime through economic means to avoid military action if possible.   While Iran has oil, it does not have the gasoline needed to power their cars.    We can and should prevent gasoline and other critical staples from entering Iran by ship and air blockade.   No doubt, this will cause the price of oil to spike for a while; but this problem can be mitigated if the Saudis are on board to fill the gap in supply.  If economic means do not work, then military action will be necessary to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities and armed forces.   A nuclear Iran will lead to an arms race in the Middle East, which will some day lead to nuclear war.   We can't let that happen. 

On another front, Iran was able to bring down an American high tech drone over their territory.   Apparently, Socialist President Obama was given various choices to destroy that drone, rather than let that technology fall into Iranian, Chinese or Russian hands.    Obama should have sent cruise missiles flying to destroy that drone.   Instead, Obama asked Iran to "give us back our drone".   This had to be one of the most ridiculous comments ever uttered by an American President.  I would put it at the top of the list, except that most of what Jimmy Carter had to say while serving as President and after, was even more ridiculous.  

Obama concluded that to take military action to destroy our drone would be an act of war.   So what!!  Iran has been at war with the United States for more than 30 years.   The Iranians only understand raw power.   It just emboldens the Iranians when the United States fails to act.   They see us as a helpless giant.   Obviously, the Iranians neither fear nor respect President Obama.  Obama's unwillingness to destroy that drone will just cause the Iranians to act even more recklessly in the future, making war with them even more inevitable. 

We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014, by sweeping Socialists at all levels of government, including President Obama, out of office.   We have to make Obama a one term President because he is a clear and present danger to our nation.   Obama's failures in managing our economy and our foreign policy are dangerous to our nation.   Obama's dealings with Iran just demonstrate his incompetence and lack of experience.  

We have to take back our country to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.   We just can't risk a nuclear Iran run by fanatics.   The lessons of history tells us that appeasement always leads to disaster.   In this case, a nuclear disaster would be far worse than what we experienced with Hitler and Nazi Germany.   Never Again, Never Again.
