EPA Gestapo - Increasing The Cost Of Energy

Socialist President Obama's Environmental Protection Agency, the EPA Gestapo, has issued new regulations that will require electric utility companies to either upgrade coal fired power stations, or shut them down.   These new regulations are projected to cost the power companies an additional $9.5 Billion a year, which of course will be passed on to consumers.   As of now, as many as 78 power stations will just be closed down because the cost to retrofit them is prohibitive. 

Obama has stated openly that his plan to was to have energy prices skyrocket.   And as such, Obama's EPA Gestapo is using the Clean Air and Water Act to issue regulations that will make it happen.  Ironically, high energy prices do not hurt the "rich" that can afford to pay whatever price is indicated; but rather the poor and the middle class that will have to choose between food and other basic necessities and heating their homes in winter, air conditioning in summer and gasoline to power their cars.       EPA radical actions will result in a lower standard of living for most Americans.   It really is that simple. 

But, it will get even worse as higher energy prices push even more manufacturing jobs overseas.   The EPA is a real job killer as thousands of jobs will be lost because of EPA radical regulations.  So at a time when our utility companies will be forced to shut down coal fired power plants, China is adding a new one every week in addition to numerous nuclear energy plants to power their economy.   While China is also focused on solar, wind and bio fuels as energy sources of the future, they clearly recognize that in order to grow their economy, which by the way grows at 7 - 10% a year compared to 1 - 2% for the United States, they must pursue an all of the above energy policy, which includes clean coal, oil, natural gas and nuclear energy to maintain a reasonable price of energy. 

Clearly, we need cheap energy to restore economic growth and create jobs in the United States, not higher energy costs.   We need a common sense 50 year energy plan that includes reasonable environmental restrictions; but that is designed to make the United States energy independent.   This plan should include more research and development related to renewables like solar, wind and bio fuels and development of all current sources; oil, oil and gas shale, clean coal and nuclear energy.   There is no other way to get there. 

So instead of an EPA Gestapo killing jobs,  we need an Environmental Solutions Agency that is focused on working with carbon and nuclear energy industries to make them safer, cleaner and even more reliable, while renewables become more economically feasible.   This will never happen as long as Socialist President Obama remains in office because his PEEP's, radical environmentalists, want to shut down all carbon and nuclear based energy sources.  

If we allowed Obamanistas to prevail it will destroy our economy and our country.   We can't let that happen.   We have to sweep Socialists, at all levels of government, including President Obama out of office in 2012 and 2014 to get our country back our track.   We must elect common sense Conservatives, not RINO's, that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, real education, energy, health care and entitlement reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation.   This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth in our country.  

We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014.  We need an Environmental Solutions Agency to replace the EPA Gestapo.   We can do it.   We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.  In the mean time, hold on your your wallets because as long as Obama remains in office, your energy costs are going to "sky rocket".
