Shortly, President Obama will propose a $3.8 Trillion budget for the 2011 fiscal year. This budget amount will result in a record deficit of $1.6 Trillion. So when you hear Obama talk about freezing $25 Billion in discretionary spending in 2011, it should be obvious that this is a big joke on the American people. Obama is instead funding all of his Socialist Schemes, which will absolutely bankrupt our country if the President and the Democrat Socialists that control Congress are not stopped and soon. The President wants to give businesses a $5,000 tax credit for each new job created for a total of $33 Billion out of $100 Billion he wants to spend on his SwindleUS Plan II to say that he is doing something to create jobs. This is a complete waste of money and will not result in one new job that is not already going to happen anyway.
In the meantime, independent watch dog, Neil Barofsky, Special Inspector General auditing the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the $700 Billion bail out of the big banks has concluded that government intervention has resulted in the banks taking even more risks. Apparently, the government guarantee of banks that are too big to fail is causing them to engage in risky business deals since they know the government will come to their rescue if they get in trouble. Clearly, it is time to end the TARP program to stop these behaviors. In addition, the Federal Reserve has spent $1.25 Trillion to hold down mortgage interest rates to prevent even more foreclosures.
All of these numbers are unfathomable. The federal government as managed by Democrat Socialists is simply out of control. The Congress approved raising the debt ceiling by $1.9 Trillion because the federal government will quickly top the $12.3 Trillion current national debt. The Chinese own about $800 Billion of this debt; but they are starting to pull away from buying US Treasuries. These deficits are on top of the $100 Trillion in unfunded liability for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and federal and state pensions. The balloon is going to burst. It is impossible to continue this fiscal insanity.
All of these numbers are very scary. If this reckless spending continues, it will lead to the financial collapse of the United States. We just cannot let that happen. We must elect Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 committed to a balanced budget, lower taxes and regulations, a strong national defense, the sanctity of life and family values. We can do it. We are going to do it.

A Message From Small Business To Obama
About 70% of Americans actually work for small businesses. In fact, small businesses employ far more people than large multi-national corporations. As someone who has built a small business into a global corporation in the last 20 years, I know a little something about creating jobs. As such, I would like to represent Small Business and send President Obama a message from all of us. First it is important to recognize that only about 8% of Obama's appointments working in the Obama Administration have ever worked in business. Most Obamanistas have come from academia or other government jobs, including the President, and as such few of them have a clue about business or small business, which is often their focus.
In his State of the Union Address, President Obama proposed providing a $5,000 tax credit for every new employee hired in 2010 and or given a raise. Mr. President, please don't add this expense to the federal deficit. While we will take the money if you give it to reduce our tax burden, be assured, that no business in America will add staff because of this $5,000 credit. The fully loaded cost of a professional lower level employee is about $100,000 or more a year. We would never add that expense just because the federal government provides a $5,000 incentive, since we would still have to cover the other $95,000 and presumably for longer than just 2010. So, if we add staff, it is because we have work for them to do. Providing this $5,000 incentive will just add to the federal deficit and not reduce unemployment by one extra employee.
Unfortunately, the things we need to grow our companies and the economy will not be provided by Democrat Socialists for ideological reasons. First we need a healthy vibrant economy full of consumers making purchases, which is the only way to stimulate job growth and the multiplier effect that will come from it. For consumers to make more purchases, they must get to keep more of the hard earned money that they make. For that to happen, at a minimum the Bush Tax Cuts must be extended for at least three more years. And, there cannot be any additional tax increases or other means of confiscating monies from taxpayers disguised as fees. In addition, raising taxes on business during a recession will only lead to more lay offs and or slower growth. Further, corporate federal income taxes should be reduced from the current 35% to 25% to be more competitive with other countries and keep more jobs in the US. It should not take a PHD in Economics to see the common sense in these recommendations.
Next, we need laws that will curtail or end frivolous lawsuits. Each year, businesses deal with frivolous lawsuits that rarely have a solid basis or claim of action. There are employment related lawsuits filed by attorneys, working on contingency, who are the equivalent of ambulance chasers. These predator attorneys no the game. Most of these cases never go to court because they are so stupid; but in the end companies and or their insurers will pay the attorney and their client $50,000 - $100,000 just to go away. In the mean time many of these cases can go on for years wasting time and money that cannot be used to hire new employees. And, then there are the business related lawsuits that can come from any direction that again usually amount to little; but a nuisance and time and money waster. Democrat Socialists, including the President, are tied to the Trial Attorneys, that contribute millions to their campaigns and as such tort reform just will not happen as long as they are in control. It is important to note that there was no medical malpractice tort reform in the Obama/Reid/Pelosi HealthScare Plan even though these cases add billions to the cost of health care each year.
Dealing with major banks is problematic for most small businesses. This has always been the case and did not just begin with the crash in 2007. The major banks love the transactional fees they can earn from small businesses; but they are not keen on providing credit lines or loans even to successful businesses. And, the smaller local banks often do not have the sophistication or lending capabilities to help global small companies. The banks are a problem; but not because they pay high bonuses or their managers are greedy. As a business owner, I could care less how banks compensate their employees. That matter should be controlled by Bank Board of Directors and their shareholders not President Obama, or the Democrat Socialists that control Congress that know absolutely nothing about running a business.
It is possible that there needs to be more government guarantees related to lending to small business beyond just the Small Business Administration apparatus. And, perhaps major banks should be required to maintain some percentage of their portfolios in loans to small businesses; though I hesitate to recommend such requirements because that is what caused the mortgage meltdown related to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as banks were pressured to lend to unqualified borrowers. In any case, providing credit to many small businesses is critical to their growth. Clearly, government needs to work on this problem without dictating a solution that could have unintended consequences.
Finally, businesses are drowning in federal and state regulations and tax code issues. Compliance with Sarbanes Oaxley regulations that were put in place after the Enron meltdown is costing billions of dollars and many jobs. It is true SOX has been great for accountants and attorneys; but they are not the folks who generate revenues or produce new products or services. So money invested in accountants and attorneys is money that cannot be used to grow a business and create jobs. We need an end to many regulations that make no sense and are just job killer laws

Terrorists - Democrat Socialists Turn on Obama
As another sign that Democrat Socialists are pulling away from President Obama, many are calling for him to stop the trial of 9/11 Terrorists in New York City as ordered by Attorney General Eric Holder. This was one of the dumbest decisions ever made by an Administration. Common sense or political reality is finally becoming clear. Democrat Socialist New York Senators Chuck Schummer and Kristen Gillibrand along with Senator Diane Feinstein, Joe Leiberman and John McCain, as well as, New York City Mayor Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly have all asked that the trial be moved from New York City. This is in addition to Democrat Socialist Congressman Jerry Nadler and New York Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
First, the cost of security if this trial is held in New York City is estimated to be $200 million a year, which is unsustainable at a time when the US is running a $1.35 Trillion deficit in 2010. And, this trial would cause chaos in New York City, which on a good day is already chaotic. Clearly, President Obama's lacks of experience and good judgement is obvious related to this decision. And, Obama's whole approach to Terrorism and Terrorists is just plain unworkable and dangerous. Terrorists are members of the Islamic Fascist Army as directed by Al Queda and Osama Bid Laden. Terrorists are enemy combatants at war with the United States, not criminals that just robbed a 7/11.
When captured, Terrorists must be treated as enemy combatants and sent to Guantanamo Bay, which is the perfect location to house them until there is a trial or cessation of hostilities as is the practice in any war. It does not matter what the rest of the world thinks of us concerning this matter. This is not a popularity contest. Terrorists should not be given the legal rights and protections of American Citizens. Instead Terrorists should be questioned using enhanced interrogation techniques, which are legal, to get as much information out of them as possible to save American lives. The very idea that the Christmas Bomber that almost brought down and American Airliner, was only questioned for 50 minutes and then read his Miranda Rights is outrageous. This is just plain common sense, which apparently our President and Attorney General seem to lack.
Clearly, even other Democrat Socialists are starting to see the light as they abandon President Obama daily because they know that his Socialist Schemes are a ticket to certain defeat. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives that understand the Terrorist threat to our nation and will act accordingly. We can do it. We will do it.

Democrat Socialists - Like Rats On a Sinking Ship
President Obama is in a free fall related to his approval rating. Only 46% of the people approve of the job Obama is doing. The President's State of the Union Address did nothing to help his approval rating. It was just more of the same. The Reid/Pelosi Democrat Socialist controlled Congress is viewed even less favorably with a 26% approval rating. Only 37% of the people believe that the country is on the right track. It is very clear that as Obama pursues all of his Socialist Schemes, he is bringing down the Democrat Socialist Party with him. Recent defeats in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states are causing Democrat Socialist to scurry around like rats on a sinking ship named the SS Obama.
President Obama made matters even worse when he proclaimed that he would rather be a "good one term President" than a "mediocre two term President". Of course, generally a good President gets reelected and Presidents that fail lose their second term elections. The signal that Obama has sent life long Democrat Socialist professional politicians is that Obama will pursue his Socialist Schemes no matter what it does to them or the Democrat Socialist party. While Obama may not care if he is reelected because he does tend to move from job to job, you can be sure that Democrat Socialist professional politicians, that do this for a living, do care if they are reelected. It is a a career for them not just a stopping off point to a better job.
So now we see Democrat Socialists announcing that they are "retiring" and some are actually changing parties and becoming Republicans because they know that following Obama is a road to defeat. The latest revelation was really interesting. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced that she will only serve one term in the Obama Administration. It is unheard of for a professional politician like Clinton to make this announcement three years before the end of the President's term. It is a slap in the face for Obama. And, it tells me that if Obama's poll ratings continue to fall that Hillary Clinton will leave the Administration early to challenge Obama in the Democrat Socialist Primary for the 2012 Presidential election. Hillary's biological clock is ticking. No doubt, Hillary Clinton still wants to be President. And, the Clinton's don't have much respect for Obama. They see Obama as a young and inexperienced usurper that came out of no where and did not deserve the Presidency.
In making her announcement, Hillary Clinton has signaled to other Democrat Socialists that Obama is in way over his head. Of course that is obvious to most Americans. We have to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives committed to lower taxes, less regulation, smaller government, a balanced budget, a strong national defense including aggressively fighting Terrorism, the sanctity of life and family values. We can do it. We will do it.

Obama - The Real State of the Union
As usual, President Obama gave a very nice and long State of the Union speech. Obama touched on all the Democrat Socialist Schemes that are the foundation of his ideology. But the reality is that according to the Heritage Foundation, 7.7 million Americans have lost their jobs since Obama was elected President. Obama's SwindleUS Plan, which was nothing more than a big tax and spend pork barrel, tub of lard and reward to all of Obama's PEEP's, has been a complete failure. Obama promised a cap of 8% unemployment if the SwindleUS Plan was passed and it went above 10%. So now, in spite of this failure, President Obama is proposing SwindleUS II, a new multi-billion "jobs bill" that will just be more of the same and another big failure.
President Obama just does not get it. History proves that more government spending does not lead to more prosperity. In fact, it leads to increased deficit spending and less prosperity. If the truth was otherwise, the Japanese would not have experienced the lost decade when they spent billions on infra structure and the end result was higher unemployment and little economic growth. Further, Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal, which was all about government spending, did nothing to end high unemployment throughout the 30's. Keynesian economics may be "feel good economics"; but it does not work.
President Obama is committed to his big government Socialist ideology. Since the President and most Democrat Socialists have never worked in business, they do not have a clue what it takes to create jobs. And, rather than fighting an aggressive war against our enemies, Islamic Fascist Terrorists, Obama is at war with American business and the private sector. Obama continues to propose higher taxes and more regulation on business as a punishment for success. What seems to be lost in the translation is that every dollar that the government takes from the private sector is a dollar not available to create jobs. Further, prosperity and economic growth can only come from a healthy and vibrant private sector that employs most Americans. There is no other way.
Even in light of significant electoral defeats in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia, President Obama remains defiant in defending his Socialist Big Spending Schemes. What Obama seemingly does not understand is that most Americans see government as the problem not as the solution as proclaimed by Ronald Reagan. We are a center right country with religious values. We want government out of our lives rather than intruding in all aspects of our daily living. The best thing that could happen is significant cuts in government spending and bureaucracy.
Unfortunately, President Obama and the Democrat Socialists that control Congress are prisoners of their left wing ideology. As such, they will continue along the same path that is retarding job growth and real economic recovery. To achieve real economic recovery and growth, the Bush Tax cuts, that will expire this year, should be extended for at least three more years. Corporate income taxes should be reduced from 35%, about the highest in the world, to 25% to keep more jobs in the US. We need a 50 year plan related to Energy independence that includes developing nuclear power, natural gas, clean coal and oil drilling in the United States, all as a bridge to future green technologies. We need tort reform to stop all the frivolous law suits that do nothing but kill jobs. We must reign in public employee unions and bring their compensation and benefits in line with what is common in business. And finally, we must eliminate many government agencies to reduce spending and STOP all the deficit spending that is bankrupting our country.

We just can't let this happen. The US Senate just voted down a Blue Ribbon Commission that was supposed to focus on deficit reduction. Clearly, Democrat Socialists are like drug addicts on heroin. They are hooked on tax and spend as an addiction. We The People have to do a crisis intervention by throwing them all out office sooner than later.

And, this does not include the $12.3 Trillion already on the books and the $100 Trillion in unfunded liability for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and government pensions. We just can't let this happen. The US Senate just voted down a Blue Ribbon Commission that was supposed to focus on deficit reduction. Clearly, Democrat Socialists are like drug addicts on heroin. They are hooked on tax and spend as an addiction. We The People have to do a crisis intervention by throwing them all out office sooner than later.
We have to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives committed to reducing taxes and regulations, a balanced budget, a strong national defense that includes aggressively fighting Terrorism, real energy independence, the sanctity of life and family values. We can do it. We are going to do it.

President Obama - Snake Oil Salesman
It is pretty clear that President Obama is one heck of a snake oil salesman. Obama is the best example in politics of the old bait and switch we have seen in years. During the campaign, Obama promised us transparency and negotiations to reform Health Care broadcast on C-Span instead of behind closed doors. Then Obama claimed he would veto bills with ear marks and pork barrel spending and instead we got billions in wasteful spending signed by the President. Obama told us that he would end No Bid Contracts and sweet heart deals and guess what, we have gotten No Bid Contracts and sweet hearts deals galore. This President must think the American people are really stupid, or that we have very short memories. Many actually listened to what Obama said during the campaign as he proclaimed, he would bring "change that we can believe in".
The change we got is more corruption and complete incompetence in both domestic and foreign policy. Now President Obama is telling us that he is going to "freeze" discretionary federal spending and that it will save $250 Billion over the next ten years; but this relates to less than 1% of the overall budget. It is chump change if it ever happens. This amounts to a cut of about $15 Billion in the next budget year. However, since the federal budget deficit is projected to be $1.35 TRILLION in 2010, this notion of a "freeze" is just plain laughable, particularly since Obama and the Democrat Socialists have increased the federal deficit by 38% since 2007. If President Obama is serious about deficit reduction, he should eliminate the Department of Education and many others departments that duplicate state bureaucracies to save some real money. In fact, if the federal government wants to help public education, a federal department is not needed at all. The FEDS can just provide the states a per pupil allotment and allow them to spend the money as they see fit. We don't need a federal bureaucracy and intrusion into public education, which is clearly a state and local function.

And, if Obama is successful in raising taxes, the deficit will be even higher because higher taxes will retard economic growth. These numbers are completely unsustainable. It is inconceivable that any responsible elected official of either party would do this to our country. President Obama is a global Socialist that supports high taxes, big government, more regulations, a weak national defense and the secularization of America. This is a prescription that will lead to a lower standard of living for all Americans.

Obama - The New and Improved Version
It is expected that President Obama will come out swinging on January 27 for his first State of the Union Address. Instead of learning the lessons of the Massachusetts massacre, the Obamanistas actually took away a completely different lesson than is obvious to the rest of us. The conservative Republican Scott Brown ran against everything Obama; HealthScare, Higher Taxes, Failure to properly deal with Terrorists; yet somehow the Obamanistas claimed that Brown's victory reflected 8 years of anger at George W Bush. One would think if that was the case that voters would have elected Martha Coakley, the Democrat Socialist that supported Obama's Socialist Schemes. However, in Obama's narcissistic world, the election of Scott Brown signaled that Obama is not moving fast enough to implement the President's Socialist Schemes. Go figure.
Of course, other Democrat Socialists got it right and are now in a panic mode fearing a repeat of 1994, when the Republicans gained control of both houses of Congress during the Clinton Presidency for the first time in 40 years. Obama has assured those in panic not to worry because the President claims that 2010 will be different than 1994 because they have HIM, the anointed one, on their side this time around. Democrat Socialists, how is that working for you? Obama is batting 0 for 3 in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts so it would be easy to conclude that having HIM is not worth very much. Clearly, President Obama suffers from delusions of grandeur in spite of the current election losses.
During the State of the Union Address rather than saying he got the message from
Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia, President Obama apparently is going to proceed full speed ahead with all his crazy Socialist Schemes including some version of HealthScare, tax increases during a recession, which is insane, CAP & TAX, more deficit spending and otherwise big government proposals. Obama has said that he would rather be a "successful" one term President than a mediocre two term President. Well great, we can arrange that in 2012 as we vote to boot Obama out of office. However, we need to give Obama a history lesson. Presidents that are not reelected lose because they have failed not because they have succeeded. Well dah! The problem is that if Obama continues along the current path, he will have a failed Presidency, just like Jimmy Carter. But even more important, because Obama does not understand the threat of Terrorism to our nation, he is endangering our country and our people. Obama would rather be a citizen of the world than the President of the United States even though his actions are a clear and present danger to our country.
During the State of the Union Address, Obama will claim to be the champion of the middle class even though his Socialist Schemes are job killer bills that will raise their taxes and cost of living. Obama talks about his enemies list; namely Big and Small Companies, Banks, Insurance Companies, Oil and other energy companies, Pharmaceutical Companies, Companies that hold conferences in Las Vegas. These are all the companies that we work for; but somehow that is lost on Obama. The President believes that if he can just create a big bad, greedy enemy that it will help his poll ratings and even win elections. The fact is that President Obama may be the most polarizing, divisive left wing President in American history. It is impossible to have a successful Presidency by dividing our nation.
In the mean time, the Obama Administration provided a "No Bid" $25,000,000 contract to a FAT CAT Obama Contributor. Vincent Checchi, owner of Checchi and Company was provided this large contract to provide "rule of law stabilization training and services" in Afghanistan. First, what the heck is that service and second, many in Afghanistan cannot even read the law or anything else let alone discuss it. We would be better off teaching reading in Afghanistan than American style rule of law training. When will we learn that Western Democratic concepts may not be applicable in the many parts of the world? In any case, I believe it was candidate Obama that was extremely critical of the Bush Administration for providing No Bid contracts to companies like Halliburton to support the war effort in Iraq. Of course, the reason for those contracts was that the timing and need was immediate and therefore the government could not take the customary 12 - 24 months to bid the business. In time of war and emergency, feeding and supporting the troops in the field is a little more important that implementing the normal, bureacratic procurement process.
The Obama Presidency may prove to be one of the most corrupt and incompetent in American History. It is clear if you are a friend of Obama, you get special deals like no taxes, or more union benefits. But if you are on that enemies list, you will pay and pay and pay. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012. We must elect Conservatives committed to fiscal sanity, lower taxes and less regulations, a balanced budget, a strong national defense, fighting Terrorism, the sanctity of life and family values. We can do it. We will do it.

Obama Soft On Terrorism
Usama Bin Laden has taken credit for the failed attempt to take down an American airliner on Christmas Day. Who knows if Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the young, Nigerian Terrorist who attempted to blow up that plane was acting in accordance with Bin Laden's order or not. What we do know is that Abdulmatallab was tied to Terrorists in Yeman, which are connected to Bin Laden. Most important, Abdulmatallab is a TERRORIST and enemy combatant that should have been turned over to the military for enhanced interrogation not the FBI that botched the process. This apparently happened under order of Attorney General Eric Holder, the left wing Democrat Socialist in the Obama Administration that insists on trying Terrorists in federal courts rather than in Military Tribunals.
However, the buck stops with President Obama himself. Obama believes that he is just misunderstood because we have not heard from him enough. The fact is that President Obama has had 158 interviews and given 411 speeches since his election, more than any other President in history. To be honest we all have Obama fatigue. The last thing we need are more speeches from Obama. We know exactly what Obama is thinking. We don't need any more explanation. We have gotten the message many times, which is the reason the American people do not support his Socialist Schemes, or Obama's naive, weak approach to fighting Terrorism.
Other agencies of the government including National Security and Homeland Security were not even aware of Holder's order to indict Abdulmutallab in federal court rather than in a Military Tribunal, which represents a real communications failure. Again, the buck must stop with Obama who is clearly soft on Terrorism and as such he is endangering our nation and our people. The FBI questioned Abdulmutallab for about 50 minutes before providing medication for his burns and wounds. Five hours later the FBI decided to call in another team. However, there was no effort to call in the federal High Value Interrogation Group, a special unit of terror specialists that the Obama Administration said early last year it would create to deal with terror suspects captured abroad. By this point, Abdulmutallab was read his Miranda Rights and guaranteed an attorney at tax payer expense. As such, the interrogation ended after just 50 minutes of serious questioning. Attorney General Eric Holder should be FIRED for his actions.
When is President Obama going to recognize that the United States is at war with an Islamic Fascist Army that seeks to destroy our nation and murder our people? These are not "isolated incidents" perpetrated by "individual extremists". If these Terrorists possessed nuclear or biological weapons, they would detonate them on American or European cities. Closing GITMO is just plain dumb and reckless and serves no purpose what so ever. It is estimated that it will cost $600 million for security to try the 9/11 Terrorist Case in federal court in New York City rather than by Military Tribunal on a US Military Base. These Terrorists are all enemy combatants. Giving them the same legal rights as American citizens is dangerous and irresponsible.

Where Was Senator Harry Reid - Missing In Action
In 2009, while Democrat Socialist Senator Harry Reid, the majority leader of the US Senate focused on enacting all of President Obama's Socialist Schemes including HealthScare, the state of Nevada, which Reid purports to represent, sank into deep Recession much worse than many other states. As a Nevada resident, I must ask, where was Senator Harry Reid as this was happening?
Where was Harry as Nevada's unemployment rate went up to 13% about the highest in the country?
Where was Harry as Nevada experienced the highest foreclosure rate in the country?
Where was Harry when President Obama called out companies for holding conferences in Las Vegas and $400 million in conference business was immediately cancelled, which cost thousands of jobs. The Democrat Mayor of Las Vegas went ballistic; but Harry said nothing?
Where was Harry, who has been in office for years, related to focusing on diversifying Nevada's economy to broaden our employment and tax base?
Where was Harry when he closed down Yucca Mountain, the nuclear repository, which will cost thousands of jobs?
Where was Harry when Nevada residents only get back about 65 cents on every federal dollar we pay in federal taxes?
Where was Harry related to making Nevada the energy capital of the US by more development in nuclear, solar and geothermal energy sources?
Where was Harry as many of the businesses in Nevada have just closed down and filed for bankruptcy?
Where was Harry when it came time to fight all of Obama's Socialist Schemes, which are job killer bills?
President Obama and Senator Harry Reid PROMISED Americans that if the SwindleUS Plan was passed that unemployment would not exceed 8%. Nationally, official unemployment is at 10%; but in Nevada it is much worse at 13% and this does not include those that are underemployed, or who have just given up looking for work. When those people are factored in, the unemployment rate for Nevada is greater than 18%. Obviously, the Obama, Reid, Pelosi, SwindleUS Plan was a complete failure, only even more so for Nevada.

Democrat Socialists - Villains and Other Scapegoats
President Obama and the Democrat Socialist Party are now trying desperately to reconnect with the American people after their stunning defeat in Massachusetts. They think the way to win popular support is by identifying and targeting various villains as they attempt to divide our nation and take the focus away from their failed policies. As such, President Obama at various times in his first year in office and even before has "called out" his enemies list; banks, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, oil and other energy companies, successful small businesses, companies that hold conferences in places like Las Vegas, so called companies that produce snack foods that are making us too fat, companies that maintain subsidiaries overseas etc. etc. In other words, these are the corporations and small businesses that employ most Americans in the private sector.
In Obama's Socialist world, all of these companies are "evil" driven by "greed" because they seek to make a profit. The reality is that most corporations, if profitable, generate profits of 3% to perhaps 20% in the extreme. That is referred to as "pre-tax profit"; but that is not where it ends. American companies are required to pay their state and federal corporate income taxes, which usually is about to 35 - 45% (about the highest in the world) of pre-tax profit. So if a corporation is lucky, it gets to keep about 6 cents in profit for every dollar in revenues to invest in future development, or pay dividends to shareholders. The point is that the about 65% revenues go to pay the compensation and benefits of middle income employees, not fat cats, that are the majority of staff members in any company. The remaining 25% of revenues cover overhead; things like rent, equipment purchases etc. Of course, most Democrat Socialists including President Obama, have never managed a business so they don't have a clue about the long hours, revenues, profit, loss and the risk involved in establishing or running a business. I have worked in business for 30 years with major corporations, all names you would know, all over the world. I have never seen the picture painted by Democrat Socialists. What I have seen are corporations focused on growth and their employees and customers. Corporations have been the engine of job creation and prosperity in the United States. And further, I have also seen nearly all corporations with outreach programs to give back to the communities in which they do business and beyond.
Finally, Obama has targeted those big bad banks for enemies treatment. There are about 3,000 banks and financial institutions in the the United States. Only about a dozen of the very largest were involved in the so called "risky" investments that are a subject of concern. Most banks are pretty plain vanilla banks that deal with deposits and old fashioned lending. Further, Obama continues to demagogue the bank issue. Banks that received TARP money, including those that were forced to take it, have paid back most of these monies plus interest. The dead beats that still owe the government TARP money that will probably never be seen again are companies like GM, Chrysler, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which coincidentally Obama has exempted from his enemies list new taxes.
As such, as Obama seeks to "punish" various industries on his enemies list with higher taxes and more regulations, the President will cause even more job losses in the private sector. It is inevitable and it is already happening as unemployment remains stubbornly high at 10% official unemployment and more than 17% if all are counted that are either unemployed, under employed or who have just given up looking for jobs altogether. Millions have lost their jobs since Obama was sworn in as President. Clearly, Democrat Socialist do not understand the "law of unintended consequences or Economics 101. They just don't see the relationship between their actions that harm the private sector and killing jobs. And, though Democrat Socialists and their public employee union supporters would prefer it, government alone cannot provide prosperity or jobs to the 150 million Americans who need them. Only the private sector can be the source of real job creation and economic wealth in the United States. And, without the private sector there would no government jobs anyway.
This week, the Supreme Court in a 5 - 4 decision acted to preserve the First Amendment of the Constitution guaranteeing free speech by striking down campaign finance laws prohibiting corporations from advertising to elect or defeat particular political candidates. Obama and the Democrat Socialists have criticized this decision because they don't want corporations looking out for their shareholders, customers or employees interests. This change in campaign finance laws will play a huge role in taking back our country in 2010 and 2012. Corporations that are being portrayed as villains will legally be able to fight back in the coming election, which is their right. President Obama is just a big bully.
Like Hitler who used the Jews, Big Business and the Communists as his scapegoat for a bad economy to take over Germany, President Obama is attempting to use business as a scape goat to mask the President's failures. The American people are smarter than that and much more informed today than was the case in Germany in the 30's. We can see what is happening. The people of Massachusetts just stood up and said HELL NO. In 2010 and 2012, the people of America will stand up and say HELL NO to the Democrat Socialists as we sweep them all out of office in a tidal wave of disgust. We can do it. We must do it.
In Obama's Socialist world, all of these companies are "evil" driven by "greed" because they seek to make a profit. The reality is that most corporations, if profitable, generate profits of 3% to perhaps 20% in the extreme. That is referred to as "pre-tax profit"; but that is not where it ends. American companies are required to pay their state and federal corporate income taxes, which usually is about to 35 - 45% (about the highest in the world) of pre-tax profit. So if a corporation is lucky, it gets to keep about 6 cents in profit for every dollar in revenues to invest in future development, or pay dividends to shareholders. The point is that the about 65% revenues go to pay the compensation and benefits of middle income employees, not fat cats, that are the majority of staff members in any company. The remaining 25% of revenues cover overhead; things like rent, equipment purchases etc. Of course, most Democrat Socialists including President Obama, have never managed a business so they don't have a clue about the long hours, revenues, profit, loss and the risk involved in establishing or running a business. Democrat Socialists - At War With Each Other
After Republican Scott Brown's decisive victory in Massachusetts, the long knives are out in the Democrat Socialist Party. Of course, the buck should stop with President Obama and Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco since Massachusetts voters clearly rejected all of their Socialist schemes; but it is easier to blame Martha Coakley who did run a lousy campaign. The most ridiculous argument I heard for the devastating loss of Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat was made by that he haw cowboy, Howard Dean, the former Governor of Vermont and Chairman of the Democrat Socialist Party.
Dean claimed, while being interviewed on Hardball by Chris Mathews, that Scott Brown, the Republican Conservative won because voters were upset that the President and Democrat Socialists had not succeeded in enacting all of their Socialist Schemes even though Brown explicitly ran against their agenda. That argument was even dumber than Obama's argument that Massachusetts voters elected Republican Scott Brown, the Conservative, because they were angry at George W Bush. Even Chris Mathews, who gets a tingle up his leg whenever Obama speaks found Dean's argument to be ridiculous since Martha Coakley was a card carrying, left wing Democrat Socialist that made it very clear that she would vote for HealthScare and every other big government, Democrat Socialist Scheme. Apparently, Dr. Dean must be on medical marijuana because he is delusional.
The Democrat Socialists are clearly at war with each and it is going to get worse as they continue to suffer in the polls. The radical left wing of the Democrat Socialist Party, which includes the President, various members of Congress from the very bluest Congressional Districts and States, the Unions, ACORN, Moveon.org etc. are pushing Obama to double down and go even further in ramming through his Socialist Schemes in response to Brown's big win. Obama said the he just needs to help the American people understand our "core values" because he is our Big Brother like in George Orwell's 1984. Mr. President, the American people most assuredly understand our "core values". The problem for Obama is that our "core values" and vision for America are simply not his "core values". As a center right country, we believe in free market capitalism not Socialism. We believe in God not government as the basis of our freedom, inalienable rights and well being. Our core values are just fine; thank you very much. It is Obama's "core values" that are out of step with America which is the reason Republican Scott Brown was elected in Massachusetts.
The grown up's and more moderate wing of the Democrat Socialist Party understand the second shot heard around the world fired in Massachusetts that resulted in Brown's election and they are attempting to pull the Democrat Socialist Party back from the abyss, or at least back to left of center in the country. Democrat Socialists will never actually be at the center of political thought. That is just not possible.
In any case, as the internal warfare proceeds, it is likely that the Senate and House version of HEALTHSCARE IS THANKFULLY DEAD, killed not as much by Republicans as by the radical wing of the Democrat Socialist Party that will not support the Senate version of the bill. The funny thing is that Scott Brown has probably saved the Democrat Socialists from themselves, which many in the Democrat Socialist Party, including the President, probably secretly see as a God Send.
In the mean time, many Democrat Socialist Members of Congress are now vulnerable to defeat next November. Certainly those Democrat Socialist Members that happen to come from red states that were carried by John McCain and/or swing states are goners. These would include Senators Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, Michael Bennet of Colorado, Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada, and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. In addition vulnerable Democrat Socialist members of the House of Representatives include Walter Minnick of Idaho, Bobby Bright of Alabama, Travis Childers of Mississippi, Betsy Markey of Colorado, Tom Perriello of Virginia, Alan Grayson of Florida, Harry Teague of New Mexico and Frank Kratovil of Maryland.
No doubt depending on the President's direction announced during the State of the Union Address on January 27, there are likely to be many more Democrat Socialist members of Congress that will bite the dust in 2010 and or just not run for reelection for fear of defeat. We will do everything we can to insure that Conservatives are elected to replace all these Democrat Socialists and many more as we take back the Congress in 2010 to end the fiscal insanity in Washington DC and the Obama Presidency.
Oh what a tangled web they weave when they practice to deceive. And, as Abraham Lincoln once said, "You can fool some of the people some of the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of time. Obama - Change Course Now or Lose Big
After the devastating electoral loss in Massachusetts, Democrat Socialists with any common sense are scurrying around like rats on a sinking ship. Those up for reelection in 2010 know that they will lose their seats in Congress if they adhere to Obama's left wing Socialist Schemes to "transform" America. Since there are mixed signals coming out of the Obama Administration, it is difficult to tell if the President got the message from Massachusetts or not. David Axelrod, Obama's long time political adviser went on TV, the morning after the Massachusetts massacre, and proclaimed that that President would continue to pursue his agenda. That particular message demonstrates that Obama and his people are tone deaf. And then, Obama himself on ABC advised Democrat Socialists to slow down on HealthScare and work with Republicans to pass a bi-partisan bill. So which is it, or is Obama just playing games?
If President Obama was politically smart instead of just book smart (because clearly he has no other particular work experience) he would pull a Bill Clinton. After the Republicans took control of the Congress in 1994, with the help of political advisor Dick Morris, Clinton moved to the center when he proclaimed in his State of the Union Address "that the era of big government was over". Clinton sounded a lot like Ronald Reagan, which allowed him to win a second term.
However, President Obama and his wife Michelle are Socialist ideologues committed to big government solutions that are no solutions at all. The question remains, is Obama going to accept that the United States is a center right nation, or cling to his Socialist Schemes, which will cause the Democrat Socialists to lose control of Congress in 2010 and insure that Obama is a one term President. If I just wanted to cause the demise of the Democrat Socialist Party, I would encourage Obama to stick to his guns because the end result I describe will be sure and swift; but since it would be very bad for our country, at least in the short term, I hope President Obama sees the light and soon.
If President Obama wants to be re-elected he should immediately announce that he will not sign a health care reform bill that does not have significant bi-partisan and national support. Of course, the Socialist wing of the Democrat Party will revolt, but if Obama is the leader many think he is, the President must give them a dose of reality therapy. It is OK if it takes several months to arrive at a good health care reform bill and or to accomplish health care reform in common sense increments instead of the monstrous 2000 page HealthScare Plan currently before Congress. Health care is just too important to all Americans to ram through a bill that makes no sense. And, to focus on jobs, Obama should push for extension of the Bush Tax Cuts for three more years to properly stimulate the economy. We don't need any more SwindleUS Plans since the first one has failed miserably to decrease unemployment. Most important, all the deficit spending must end to stop the fiscal insanity.
What I advocate is just common sense and prudent fiscal management. If Obama goes down the road I describe, he will be reelected in 2012 and he may even be able to retain control of the Congress in 2010. However, if Obama ignores the will of the people who believe in free market capitalism and who want lower taxes, less regulations, a balanced budget, a strong national defense including properly dealing with Terrorists, real health care reform and common sense energy independence, Obama will most assuredly be a one term President and the Democrats will lose control of Congress in 2010. As such, the next few weeks will be critical. We will know more when Obama gives his State of the Union Address on January 27.

Obama can either be relevant or irrelevant. Obama can be part of the problem or part of the solution. Either way, we will not tolerate Obama's Socialist Schemes designed to "transform" America into a Socialist nation. That is not going to happen. We will take back our country. We can do it. We have proven we will do it.

Democrat Socialists - Do You Hear Us Now
Patriots in Massachusetts fired the "Shot Heard Around the World", which began the American Revolution to end British tyranny. Once again, the people of Massachusetts fired another shot in an electoral revolution as they resoundingly elected Conservative Republican Scott Brown as their US Senator to fill the old Teddy Kennedy seat. It is important to recognize that a Kennedy Democrat Socialist has held this particular Senate seat since 1952. And, that Massachusetts has not had a Republican Senator since 1972.
No matter how they try to spin it, the election of Republican Scott Brown, who ran against Obama's agenda, is a complete repudiation of the Obama, Reid, Pelosi Democrat Socialist agenda and Socialist Big Government Schemes designed to make the United States a Socialist nation. And, what sweet irony that it is the old Ted Kennedy seat that was lost. It doesn't get any better than that for a Conservative. I have gotten my Birthday present for the year. Now I want my Christmas present when we defeat my Senator, Democrat Socialist Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada in November. The roar we are hearing is the tidal wave that is coming in 2010 and 2012 that will sweep out of office Democrat Socialists as we take back control of both the US Congress, the Presidency and our country. Thankfully, this election in Massachusetts is the beginning of the end of the Obama Presidency.
What President Obama and the Democrat Socialists simply do not understand is that the United States is a center right nation, composed of people who believe in God, not government, as the basis of our well being and our freedoms. The majority of Americans support limited government, lower taxes, less regulations, a balanced budget, an end to deficit spending, a strong national defense including the fight against global Terrorism, common sense energy independence, the US Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers, not the Congress or the Courts, the Second Amendment, the sanctity of life and family values. Clearly, our vision for America is not the vision of Democrat Socialist President Obama.
And, this fight is not just about President Obama and current Democrat Socialists, it is as well a repudiation of all Presidents since Theodore Roosevelt, the Congress and the Courts, who for more than 100 years have continued to whittle away at our freedoms. Obama, as a left wing Democrat Socialist is just the most blatant culmination of this process. Folks, it should be clear with the establishment of the Tea Party Movement that the balloon has burst. We are mad as hell patriots and we are going to take back our country once and for all to regain our freedoms.
To be clear, members of the Tea Party Movement are people who own and work for small business and big corporations. We are not "astro turf" as described by Democrat Socialist Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco, or just an "angry mob" as described by Democrat Socialist Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada. We are not uneducated, that's for sure. In fact, though the Tea Party Movement is composed of a great cross section of the American people, everyone that I know that is both a Conservative and a member of the Tea Party Movement is very well educated including graduate degrees in many cases. Further, members of the Tea Party Movement that I know, who have money, earned it the old fashioned way by hard work and sacrifice not inheritance. Democrat Socialists are delusional if they think otherwise about the Tea Party Movement. But it is ok. Democrat Socialists won't know what hits them when the tidal wave comes in 2010 and 2012. And there isn't going to be any disaster relief for Democrat Socialists as we throw them all out of office.
President Obama and other Democrat Socialists, DO YOU HEAR US NOW after this resounding defeat in Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states. The people have spoken in New Jersey, Virginia and now Massachusetts. We will not tolerate Obama's Socialist Schemes and agenda. We will fight to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing common sense Conservatives that share our values. Watch for more endorsements by the National Freedom Forum and when I ask you to send money, give until it hurts. Remember all elections are national. We are now three for three because we have acted together to support Conservatives. We can do it. We have proven that we will do it.

Clearly, our vision for America is not the vision of Democrat Socialist President Obama.
And, this fight is not just about President Obama and current Democrat Socialists, it is as well a repudiation of all Presidents since Theodore Roosevelt, the Congress and the Courts, who for more than 100 years have continued to whittle away at our freedoms. Obama, as a left wing Democrat Socialist is just the most blatant culmination of this process. Folks, it should be clear with the establishment of the Tea Party Movement that the balloon has burst. We are mad as hell patriots and we are going to take back our country once and for all to regain our freedoms.
To be clear, members of the Tea Party Movement are people who own and work for small business and big corporations. We are not "astro turf" as described by Democrat Socialist Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco, or just an "angry mob" as described by Democrat Socialist Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada. We are not uneducated, that's for sure. In fact, though the Tea Party Movement is composed of a great cross section of the American people, everyone that I know that is both a Conservative and a member of the Tea Party Movement is very well educated including graduate degrees in many cases. Further, members of the Tea Party Movement that I know, who have money, earned it the old fashioned way by hard work and sacrifice not inheritance. Democrat Socialists are delusional if they think otherwise about the Tea Party Movement. But it is ok. Democrat Socialists won't know what hits them when the tidal wave comes in 2010 and 2012. And there isn't going to be any disaster relief for Democrat Socialists as we throw them all out of office.
President Obama and other Democrat Socialists, DO YOU HEAR US NOW after this resounding defeat in Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states. The people have spoken in New Jersey, Virginia and now Massachusetts. We will not tolerate Obama's Socialist Schemes and agenda. We will fight to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing common sense Conservatives that share our values. Watch for more endorsements by the National Freedom Forum and when I ask you to send money, give until it hurts. Remember all elections are national. We are now three for three because we have acted together to support Conservatives. We can do it. We have proven that we will do it.

Haiti - A Global Natural Disaster
As usual, whenever there is a horrible natural disaster some where in a poor country, it is always the US Government and the American people that come to the rescue generally like no other nation. Our Judeo-Christian values, which are the foundation of our nation, compel our government and our people to provide our military resources and our financial assistance. Haiti was a basket case before the earthquake, even with hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign aide, as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Given the total devastation that has come from this earthquake, it is hard to imagine recovery in the next 50 or more years and only if other countries, including the United States, are willing to give even more.
President Obama initially has committed $100 million, that we will need to borrow from the Chinese and others, to provide disaster relief for Haiti and this is just the beginning. It was also reported today, that Americans have already donated $600 million to private charities to provide direct assistance. By the way, none of this money should be given to the Haitian government, which is hopelessly corrupt. While providing assistance is the right thing to do, it might have been better for Obama to go to the United Nations, where he is more popular than in the United States and ask for this level of commitment and even more from the top 45 richest countries in the world rather than the US always writing the check with money that we just don't have to give. Remember, the federal deficit in 2010 will be more than $1.4 Trillion. The Chinese, one of the riches countries in the world, that owns $700 Billion in US Treasuries, donated just $1 million dollars to Haiti disaster relief. And, as yet, we have not seen any donations at all from the rich Arab Oil countries. Why is it that these countries do not feel compelled to help the poor and those in need?
Sadly, while the United States and the American people are the most generous in the world of any nation, very often we get no respect, or even a simple thank you. Instead, we are attacked by left wing Socialists and Communists for our world involvement and even worse, there are Islamic Fascist Terrorists that seek to murder Americans even though it was the United States that came to the rescue of Muslims in Bosnia as they were under attack by Christians in that country.
The United States has been the greatest force for good in human history. Clearly, we are not perfect and we have made mistakes; but for the most part the United States has been a selfless defender of freedom around the world. We have sacrificed blood and treasure so that others could be free. When President Obama goes over seas and bows down to foreign leaders and or apologizes for our country, he insults all Americans; but particularly those that have died for our country and many other countries. It is pretty clear that Obama has not learned the lessons of history, which is not only sad; but very upsetting to all who love the United States.
In any case, we should learn from the experience in Haiti. If the United Nations is to have any value at all, which is questionable, it should be to organize and manage global disaster relief in poor countries. The US cannot continue to shoulder this burden any longer. We just don't have the money. And, from a national perspective, it is clear that we still don't have it right related to disaster recovery. The military is performing well; but the plan is flawed. Moving plane loads of food and water to Haiti, without the means to distribute it in place first, was very poor planning.

Martin Luther King Day & The Democrat Socialists
As we celebrate Martin Luther King Day, we recognize the contribution that Doctor King made in advancing Civil Rights for all Americans. As a former American History and Government teacher who grew up in the 50's and 60's and taught junior, senior and adult school in the 70's, I was mesmerized by Dr. King's "I have a Dream Speech". The notion that all men should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin, as proposed by Dr. King, is a universal truth that is obvious today and is accepted by all who love liberty and support the American dream. Clearly, the election of Barack Obama is the personification of that dream and that is a good thing.
What is not a good thing is how the Democrat Socialists over the years have manipulated African Americans in the United States to their detriment in order to gain and stay in power. Let's look at the facts. While things like guaranteeing voting rights and laws to stop discrimination and insure equal opportunity for minorities were absolutely critical to all Americans; Democrat Socialists twisted Dr. King's message beyond the guarantee of equal opportunity in an attempt to create equal outcomes, which is impossible because Americans of all races are not necessarily equally capable, equally intelligent or otherwise equally willing to work hard and sacrifice for the long term. Again, I emphasize that this issue has nothing to do with race; but rather a recognition that while all should have equal opportunity, the only way there can be an equal outcome is if we were all clones with the same genetics, family history and background, education etc.
And, Affirmative Action contrived by Democrat Socialists primarily to help minorities and woman is misdirected. The reality is that discrimination is as much economic and based on social class as racial. So, if there is to be Affirmative Action it should be asserted for any one who is economically disadvantaged regardless of race. Does any one really believe that Barack Obama's children should be given preference in university admissions just because they are of mixed race; but primarily African American. And or, should Hillary Clinton, have been given preference when her father was a Republican Doctor just because she was a woman. All of this is absurd.
If the government is to legally require any preference related to university admissions or hiring, it should be based on economics not racial preferences; though Affirmative Action in general is contrary to the American Dream of hard work and sacrifice, which for generations has been the basis for success in our country. Smart African Americans can do just fine on their own; just like smart Whites, Asians and Hispanics provided they are all willing to work hard and endure delayed gratification to achieve future success.
And, though Welfare was presumably well intentioned and designed to help the poor, in many cases it has destroyed the Black family, which prior to World War II was for the most part in tact. Today, the majority of Black children are born to single mothers, out of wedlock, because Welfare is more accessible under these circumstances. To be sure, this problem is impacting all races as part of the "New Normal" in family affairs; but not to the extent it occurs with African Americans. As such, Welfare hurts, rather than helps, most people of all races because it impedes ingenuity and personal responsibility, which in the end is detrimental to the human spirit and over all well being.
And, then there is the problem with inner city public schools. Since Democrat Socialists are owned lock, stock and barrel by teacher unions, they simply refuse to allow children in failing schools, which are primarily minority children including African Americans, the option of School Choice providing them tuition monies if parents choose to place their children in private schools. In fact, failing public schools are the "new plantation" for African Americans forced to remain in failing public schools as rich Democrat Socialist politicians like Barack Obama and nearly all the others in Congress living around Washington DC can afford to send the children to expensive private schools to avoid failing Washington schools; but refuse to give poor African Americans that same right.
For the life of me, I can't understand why the vast majority of African Americans primarily vote for Democrat Socialists when in fact they are often worse off as a result. It is sad to say that Democrat Socialists have done every thing possible to keep African Americans dependent on government because it is the basis of their power. Instead, Conservatives advocate the old proverb of "give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a life time". Clearly, the best thing that could happen for disadvantaged African Americans, or anyone else in a failing public schools, is to get the hell out of there, which is why School Choice is so critical; yet the successful School Choice program in Washington DC that impacts several hundred African American children has been discontinued by the Democrat Socialists even though African American parents have abjected strenuously.
One can only wonder where Dr. King would stand on all of these issues today. Dr. King was a Christian Minister committed to non-violence. It is hard to imagine that Dr. King would be comfortable with the secular Democrat Socialists in power who favor big government, holding Black children as prisoners in failing schools, higher taxes that hurt small business, the prevalence of unwed mothers in our society, unrestricted abortion etc. etc. Who knows, maybe Dr. King would have become a Conservative given the left wing secular orientation of the Democrat Socialist Party. I would like to think so.

Hundred of billions of dollars have been spent on social programs since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society and for the most part it has been money down a rat hole as many African Americans are no better off today that they were 40 years ago. The only way the poor and disadvantaged can become prosperous is by hard work, sacrifice, more education and a thriving private sector.
In order to achieve Dr. Martin Luther King's American Dream, we must take back our country. We must elect Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 that believe in free markets and capitalism, lower taxes, smaller government, balanced budgets, fiscal sanity, a strong national defense, family values and equal opportunity for all. We are going to see a tidal wave in 2010 and 2012 that will sweep many Democrat Socialists out of office. Hopefully, we will see that tidal wave on January 19 in the special election in Massachsetts, as Republican Scott Brown is elected as the new Senator from Massachusetts, which will be a complete repudiation of President Obama's Socialist Schemes. In the end we will bring prosperity and fiscal sanity back to our nation, once Conservatives regain control of Congress and the Presidency, which will benefit African Americans and all Americans. We can do it. We must do it.

Obama's New Bank Tax
There is not a day goes by that President Obama and the Democrat Socialists that control Congress don't propose some new tax targeted at one group or another. This time, Obama wants to tax large banks with $50 Billion in assets or more because they needed, or were forced to take government money from the $700 Billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) to guarantee their financial stability. They only problem is that many of the 50 banks that will be impacted by Obama's new tax have paid back the federal government plus interest, so much so that the government made money on these deals. However, because the federal government will never see the billions again that were given to General Motors and Chrysler to take care of the big auto unions and nationalized Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, that made huge contributions to Democrat Socialist candidates including Obama, the President now wants to punish the big banks that did pay back the money plus interest.
In Obama's world, the successful must provide for the failures both in business and in society; apparently beyond what they already pay in federal and state income, property and sales taxes of every variety. And, since these banks are profitable and they are paying big bonuses, Obama has decided to punish them for having the nerve to make money. Of course, let's never forget that companies and their employees that make money often pay 40% or more of their income in corporate and personal federal and state income taxes; not to mention estate taxes, taxes on dividends and capital gains etc. etc. etc. Let's face it, we are taxed to death and even after death. In fact, if companies and their employees did not make money and pay all of the confiscatory taxes we now pay, how on earth would state and federal governments have the money to take care of their Peeps and all the public employees on the payroll. It is very obvious that Democrat Socialists frequently forget who is paying all the bills. Instead of attempting to punish those that are successful, government should be saying thank you, thank you.
This additional tax on the 50 largest banks in the country amounts to a 15% surcharge on bank liabilities, excluding FDIC assessed deposits and insurance policy reserves. Smaller community banks and some larger banks with assets of $50 Billion or less would be exempt from this tax along with other companies like GM, Chrysler, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that also received billions in TARP money. The intent is to raise enough money to cover the estimated short fall of $117 Billion that the government apparently never expects to get back from these failed companies. This tax would be designed to go beyond 10 years until the money is recouped. Has anyone ever heard of a tax once enacted ever being repealed? And, if the government takes this money from the top 50 banks in the country, it will be at the expense of small business that simply will not be given loans and/or consumers that will face higher credit card rates. There is no free ride. These higher taxes will be passed on to customers one way or another.
Most important, it is becoming very clear that in Obama and the Democrat Socialist's corrupt world, their friends and supporters are excluded from new taxes. These include the big Unions, public employees, nationalized companies and companies that give big contributions to the Democrat Socialists. Other Americans, businesses and companies that don't support Obama and the Democrat Socialists are then required to pay and pay and pay. This is Chicago back room, sleazy, dirty ward politics at its worst, or best depending on your perspective. In my life time, I have never seen the blatant corruption that is rampant in Obama's Washington.
Taxpayers are now on the hook, without any limitation, related to the losses of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Obama Administration on Christmas Eve removed the $400 Billion cap on their potential losses covered by the federal government. Fannie and Freddie are now being encouraged to lend to Obama's Peeps, once again, which is how we got into the the financial mess we face today. As of now, Freddie and Fannie own or guarantee half of the $10 Trillion in US Mortgages - the really lousy half. Remember, it was Democrat Socialists like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer and Barack Obama that insisted that Fannie and Freddie take on risky loans, which began during the Clinton Administration. These characters should all be in jail not in Congress.

Remember, it was Democrat Socialists like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer and Barack Obama that insisted that Fannie and Freddie take on risky loans, which began during the Clinton Administration. Of course, Democrat Socialist politicians were at the top of the list receiving millions in contributions from Fannie and Freddie and as such when George W Bush sounded the alarm bells requesting more regulation of Fannie and Freddie, Democrat Socialists in Congress simply refused to enact regulations. These characters should all be in jail not in Congress.
Obama's new bank tax is just one more in a long list that will retard the growth of our economy and insure that we have high unemployment for years to come. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 to put an end to the corruption and all the Democrat Socialist dirty, sleazy deals. The US Constitution requires equal protection under the law not the obvious selection of winners and losers based on vindictive punishment schemes and pay-offs. Republican Scott Brown - A Tidal Wave Is Coming
A Suffolk University Poll in Massachusetts now has State Senator Republican Scott Brown beating Democrat Socialist and Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley by 50% to 46% to fill the old Ted Kennedy US Senate seat in the Special Election on January 19. If Brown wins, which appears feasible, it will be the first time since 1972 that Massachusetts has elected a Republican Senator. But more important, this is Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat. Kennedy was always referred to as the "lion of the Senate." Kennedy was actually someone who cheated his way through life and law school, never worked for a living and lived off his family money his entire life. The only things that could be said about Ted Kennedy is that he was an ethically challenged, tax and spend, left wing Democrat Socialist, elected many times, who served for too long in the US Senate. Ted Kennedy was the poster child making the case for Term Limits.
In any case, President Obama is going to Massachusetts on Sunday to campaign for Coakley in an attempt to save her candidacy and his Presidency. Obama's presence did nothing to help the Democrat Socialists candidates running for Governor in New Jersey and Virginia as Conservative Republicans Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell won those races handily, which was a clear repudiation of Obama and his Socialist Schemes. Scott Brown has said emphatically that if he is elected to the US Senate, Brown will be the 41st vote against Obama's HealthScare Plan, which could kill the bill; though no doubt Senator Dirty Harry Reid, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat Socialists will try every sleazy, dirty trick in the book to pass HealthScare. Just wait and see.
Win or lose in Massachusetts the Democrat Socialist will suffer a big loss. Keep in mind that Democrat Socialists out number Republicans 3 to 1 in Massachusetts. For a Republican to even come close to winning, let alone actually winning in Massachusetts, represents an earthquake in public opinion. I am going to go out on a limb and predict that Scott Brown will defeat Martha Coakley in the Special Election in Massachusetts on January 19 by at least two points and maybe more. And, if it happens, it will be the next huge wave of a tidal wave that began in New Jersey and Virginia that will lead to the Republican take over of the US Congress. HealthScare - More Dirty Backroom Deals
Democrat Socialists Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi met with President Obama this week and the big unions in secret to cut more dirty, sleazy back room deals to cram HealthScare down the throats of the American people. The big unions object to the Cadillac tax, the 40% excise tax the insurance companies would have to pay for selling rich insurance plans that the unions have secured over the years in their negotiations. So Obama, Reid and Pelosi first raised the premium amounts for a family to $24,000 and a single insured to $8,500 to please the unions. And then the real dirty dealing took place as Obama, Reid and Pelosi agreed to exclude state and local government employees and union workers from the excise tax altogether until 2017. So let me get this right. Insurance companies would pass this tax on to all other Americans, when applicable; but the big unions and state and local government employees many of whom belong to SEIU would be exempt. What a sweet, crooked deal received as another big pay off for supporting Democrat Socialists.
The muck in Washington is so thick and sickening that we would need high boots just to walk around the city. While the President focuses on HealthScare, a Yahoo Poll recently asked the question, The President's progress with the battered economy has been both praised and criticized. How well are his efforts measuring up with you? 52,954,341 Americans responded as follows:
Extremely Well. We are undoubtedly moving in the right direction. 36%
Fairly Well. There is still a long way to go. 1%
Not well at all. Obama's plans are hurting more than helping. 63%
Not sure. No Opinion 0%
Clearly, 63% of the American people believe that Obama's SwindleUS Plan has failed miserably. No doubt this is the case because we have about 26 million Americans, 17.3% unemployed, underemployed or who have just given up looking for work. In the mean time, Obama, Reid and Pelosi continue to pursue their Socialist Schemes and higher taxes and more regulation that are retarding the growth of our economy.

The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy
Several years ago when Bill Clinton was accused of all his shenanigans and before Hillary Clinton was willing to admit publicly at least that her husband was a philandering scoundrel, Hillary described those critical of the Clinton's as members of a "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy". Actually, Hillary Clinton was right. There is a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy committed to defeating Democrat Socialists and all their crazy schemes that threaten our freedoms. But I want to make sure that I include everyone in this description because it truly is a badge of honor.
Let me see. The following people or groups are members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy: the 50% of the people who pay all of the federal and state income taxes in the US; members of the military; members of the tea party movement that advocate fiscal sanity rather than trillions in deficit spending; Conservatives some of whom are Republicans or Libertarians; those who support the principles of our Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers not the Congress or the Courts; those who believe that government that governs least govern best; those that support limited government and power to the people; those that oppose government intrusion into our lives; those that choose to own guns in accordance with the Second Amendment; those that recognize that our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles that continue to be the basis for our nation today; those that see the traditional family as sacred; those that support life rather than infanticide; those that believe in a strong national defense; those that see the United States as a beacon of freedom and the greatest nation ever devised in history and those that will fight to make sure that the Democrat Socialists are not successful in transforming our country into a Socialist nation.
President Obama and the Democrat Socialists in control of Congress are a clear and present danger to our nation. The Democrat Socialists are just plain wrong on all the issues. Democrat Socialists support bigger government, intrusive regulations, tax and spend and more tax and spend to the point of bankrupting our country. Democrat Socialists are weak on national defense and clearly do not understand the Terrorist threat. Democrat Socialists believe in "social justice", which is their camouflage term for redistribution of income. Democrat Socialists want to take from those who work hard and are productive and give to their Peep's, who for a variety of reasons contribute very little to the economic well being of our nation. I am sorry to say that it is what it is.

Millions have fought and died to preserve our freedoms. As such, we cannot allow Democrat Socialists to "transform" our nation in a way that threatens those freedoms.
