Socialist Perverted Thinking - Taxes & Jobs

President Obama and the Socialists in Congress argue that extending the Bush Tax Cuts for the rich, the top 2% of taxpayers, will deny the federal government $700 Billion in taxes over the next ten years. Obama and his Socialist Party do want to extend the Bush Tax Cuts for the "middle class", which they believe will deny the federal government another $3 Trillion, $300 Billion in taxes. So, if we assume their numbers and perverted way of thinking are correct, it will cost the federal government about $4 Trillion in taxes over the next ten years to extend the Bush Tax Cuts for all Americans. President Obama and his Socialist Party speak of our money as though it automatically belongs to the federal government rather than the American people.

The reality is that raising taxes never brings in the amount of revenue projected by the federal government because raising taxes retards the growth of the economy. But even if this number is half what is projected, why is it better to give the Federal government another $2 Trillion over ten years than to allow the American people to spend, or invest their own money. In addition, Obama and his Socialist Party always seem to assume a zero sum game as if leaving the money saved from the Bush Tax Cuts with the American people would somehow disappear from the economy instead of being spent on goods and services that would impact economic growth and job creation.

This whole discussion is very simple. Today all levels of government consume about 40% of our national wealth, a record high. This huge growth in government is happening at the expense of the private sector that has less to spend on creating jobs because of the high tax rates needed to support government. This is particularly true of small businesses that employ 70 - 80% of the American people. The burdens of high taxation and stifling regulations, that have become even worse under Obama, are strangling small and large companies. In order to restore economic growth and job creation again in the United States, the government needs to get out of the way.

We need to starve the beast by giving the government less of our national wealth in taxes so that government does not consume more than 25% of our national wealth. The government clearly needs to live within it means, which deficit spending proves has been impossible. Hence the need for a Balanced Budget Constitutional Amendment. Shrinking government is the only way to allow the private sector to grow again. In addition, it is the best means of preserving and protecting our freedom, which is threatened by bigger, more intrusive government into all facets of our lives and even death.

Of course the Bush Tax Cuts should be made permanent. This is not a give away to the rich since it still provides for a top personal federal income tax rate of 35% in addition to whatever other state and local taxes the rich and everyone else are paying. The Socialist claim that the rich do not "pay their fair share" is ridiculous. The top 10% of taxpayers in the United States already pay 70% of all taxes. And, the last time I checked the poor don't create any jobs, except maybe government jobs to support them on the dole. Taking more money from the private sector, or the so called rich, is a job killer. Well dah!

Further, we must lower corporate income tax rates to 20 or 25% tops rather than the current federal rate of 35%, the second highest in the world, plus state corporate income tax rate that average 6% in order to keep more jobs in the United States. When considering where to expand, or build a plant, in addition to labor cost, the other two decision factors are corporate taxes and environmental regulations. As a result of these factors, the United States is hostile to manufacturing, which is the reason we have lost our manufacturing base in the last 20 years. It is that simple.

Finally, in order to grow jobs in the United States, we must achieve real energy independence. That means the development of all current sources of energy; nuclear, which includes reprocessing; clean coal, natural gas, oil shale and oil, in addition to the energy sources of the future, wind, solar, bio fuels etc. This can be done in an environmentally sound way in accordance with a 50 year plan designed to move the United States away from carbon based fuels. If anything we need to make energy cheaper, not more expensive, as proposed by President Obama and his Socialist Party in their CAP & TAX Plan. Becoming energy independent, would result in millions of good paying jobs in the United States that cannot be off shored.

Socialists, most of whom are egg heads, or career politicians do not understand any of this. It is just Economics 101. Nor do Socialists recognize the lessons of history, which demonstrate over and over again that their class warfare ideology has never produced prosperity any where in the world it has been tried and has only led to misery and a lower standard of living for the people.

We can't let that happen, which is the reason we must elect Conservatives (not RINO's willing to reach each across the aisle) that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. Most important, we must elect Conservatives that will adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists in the last 97 years, former Presidents, Congresses or the Courts.

We must finish the job and take back our country in 2012 by sweeping the remaining Socialists, including President Obama, out of office at all levels of government. We can do it. We will do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren. We have to end Socialist perverted thinking that is bankrupting our country, once and for all, for the good of the American people and our nation.
