Obama's No Win Situation

Socialist President Obama is now in a no win situation as a result of the repudiation of his Socialist Schemes by the American people and the devastating historical defeat he personally suffered from the recent elections. If President Obama moves to the center to properly respond to the American people that clearly want an emphasis on free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values; Obama will lose his left wing base of support

But, if Obama continues to demonstrate that he is tone deaf in order to maintain his left wing base, as he did during his press conference after the election, and continues to pursue his Socialist left wing agenda to "transform" America, the American people will surely make him a one term President in 2012. Either way, he may be a one term President because if he does not tow the party line to maintain his base, he cannot possibly be reelected. President Obama really is in a no win situation. What a shame!

In the mean time, while all of this is going on, instead of focusing on jobs and the dire economy, President Obama is going off on a nine day trip to Asia Pacific. It is reported that this trip will cost several hundred million dollars because the President is taking an entourage of more than 2,000 people with him. What is Obama thinking? Nero fiddles while Rome burns. Mr. President, we need you to focus on the 25 million Americans that are either unemployed, underemployed working part time who want full time work, or who have just given up looking for jobs. With the exception of the fight against Terrorism, forget about everything else.

In any case, the next two years will be very interesting since Obama will have to play a delicate balancing act. The lame duck Congress is likely to extend the Bush Tax Cuts, either permanently, or at least for a few more years for everyone, or it will be done by the new Congress in January. Given the poor economy and the recent election results, Obama won't dare veto that bill. The Republican controlled House, with the help of the Socialist controlled Senate will repeal some, or all of ObamaCare in response to the vast majority of the American people. If President Obama vetoes the repeal of ObamaCare, it will set the stage for a major battle in 2012 that will result in the Republican take over of the US Senate; and also President Obama's defeat.

The Republican Victory on November 2 was huge. Republicans have been given a last chance to prove that they get it. We want our elected representatives to adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing Media, Socialists in the last 97 years, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We want limited, less intrusive government. No one expects Obama as an ideologue to understand what the American people are demanding; but we do expect Republicans to get the message and act on it to begin rolling back 97 years of Socialism. If they don't do it, they too will be shown the door out of the Capitol building.

We have begun the process of taking back our country in 2010. Now we are focused on 2012. We must regain control of the Senate and make Obama a one term President. We must also add even more Republican Governors and Republican controlled state legislatures. That does not mean electing RINO's; but rather it does mean electing Conservatives that will cut spending and taxes, eliminate crazy, stifling, regulations, eliminate redundant government functions, agencies and departments and finally get our national debt under control.

This is not a matter of tinkering around the edges to cut government spending by 5%, or $100 billion dollars as mentioned by the Republicans. That is peanuts and it will not get us there. We need dramatic fundamental change and new ideas. And, there can be no compromise with Socialists, as in "reaching across the aisle" related to these critical issues because our very nation is at stake. We will take back our country in 2012 and beyond. We can do it. We will do it to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
