Republicans Boehner & McConnell Cave On Debt Ceiling Deal

Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell both caved to Socialist demands to raise the Debt Ceiling once again without any cost cutting conditions.   So President Pinocchio Obama will be able to continue borrowing and adding to our $17.3 Trillion National Debt without any other cuts in spending.   This is outrageous and just demonstrates that John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have to go.  Boehner and McConnell are allowing the Socialists to bankrupt our country, which makes them complicit in this fiscal insanity that continues in Washington DC.   Even though most Republicans voted NO, Boehner and McConnell allowed raising the Debt Ceiling to come up for a vote.

When oh when are we going to get deficit spending and borrowing to fund it under control.  The answer appears to be never.   As a political junkie, this Blogger understands that it is all about the next election; but it is always about the next election.   If Republicans don't stand firm in their support of limited, smaller government, lower taxes and less regulation and stopping the fiscal insanity, then there is no reason for the Republican Party to exist anymore.  It will go the way of the Whig Party as we establish the Conservative Party of the United States and face off against the Socialist Party in head to head battles on key issues.  It is certainly not happening now under Boehner and McConnell's leadership.

Of course, all Socialists in Congress voted to give Obama an open check book.  The few Republicans that voted to increase the Debt Ceiling unconditionally, even if part of a political tactic, should be primaried.  No Republican can claim to be for debt reduction and presumably paying off the National Debt, while voting time after time to increase it.   The National Debt is now greater than our annual Gross Domestic Product.   We are heading into very dangerous territory.   If this does not stop and soon, we will see the economic collapse of the United States and then all bets are off.  We will have civil strife on our streets and maybe even the dissolution of the United States.  Remember the Soviet Union did not collapse because it was militarily weak; but rather because its Communist Economic System fell apart.

And this is not the whole story.  There is over $127 Trillion in unfunded liability that is not even on the books for Social Security and Medicare and that does not include local, state and federal pensions that are also under water.  Just go to usdebtclock.org to see the whole ugly picture.   Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell acted irresponsibly in allowing the vote to increase the Debt Ceiling to go forward without any cuts in spending.   This is just plain crazy.
