Socialist President Obama is demanding that Congress allocate $2 Billion more for Green Technology Boondoggles. This is happening in spite of all the bankruptcies and more than a Billion dollars of our hard earned money that went down a rat hole for Crony Capitalism to support Green Companies that just happen to be Obama supporters. Go figure.
And, it is very likely that Obama will issue Executive Orders to push his CAP & TRADE Scheme, one way or another, to make all carbon and nuclear based energy far more expensive. This is a huge job killer that will result in a lower standard of living for all Americans and more jobs being shipped overseas. Obama and his Socialist pals in government live in a fantasy land full of windmills and solar panels that cannot possibly power our economy.
At the same time, we are sitting on natural gas, clean coal, oil and gas shale, oil and nuclear energy that would make our country energy independent in the next ten years if only Obama would get out of the way. We need to convert the Environmental Protection Agency into the Environmental Solutions Agency. Instead of investing in Green Technology, we should be investing in research to make carbon based fuel and nuclear energy cleaner, safer and less expensive. This is the key to restoring economic growth and job creation again in America.
Of course, none of this will happen as long as Obama is President and Socialists control either House of Congress. We have to wait until Obama is gone to get our economy moving again. It will not happen any other way.
