Herman Cain - An African American Conservative - Finally

Herman Cain, successful businessman, is running for the Republican nomination for President of the United States.   Cain came from humble beginnings.   His father worked three jobs to support their family.  Cain earned a Bachelor's degree from Morehouse College in 1967 and a Master's degree from Purdue University while working as a mathematician for the Department of the Navy.   Upon graduation, Cain worked for Coca Cola and later for Pillsbury and Burger King.   Eventually, Cain was appointed by Pillsbury to head their financially troubled Godfather's Pizza chain.   14 months after Herman Cain took the job, Godfather's Pizza regained profitability and in 1988 Cain led the executive team in a buy-out of the company from Pillsbury.

Cain, a Christian Conservative has never held elected office; yet he clearly won the recent Republican Candidates Debate in South Carolina.   The best part of this American dream success story is that Herman Cain is an African American Conservative with great business experience who knows how to create jobs and make things happen .   Just imagine that!!  Cain should have been the first African American President, rather than Barack Obama because Cain is right on all the issues and Obama is wrong on all the issues.   For Socialists and the left wing in America who attempt to paint Tea Party Members and Conservatives in particular as racists, let it be known here and now that if Cain gets the Republican nomination, this Conservative Blogger will not only raise money for him; but will knock on doors to proudly make him the second African American President in US history.  What fun!

And, what an interesting campaign it would be.   Two African Americans running for the Presidency; one, Obama, an out right big government, tax and spend Socialist and Cain, a Christian Conservative who supports free market capitalism, limited government, a balanced budget, a strong national defense, real education, energy and health care reform, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and the American family as the foundation of our society.  I keep telling my friends and business associates overseas that the Republican nominee for the Presidency will not be a name you know.   How great would it be if Herman Cain, successful businessman and Conservative Christian is the Republican nominee for President of the United States.   That possibility just sends a chill up my leg as I tear up.
