Obama's "Phony" Scandals - Really

Socialist President Pinocchio Obama is going around the country, raising campaign money like always, talking about all the "phony" scandals besieging his Administration.   Really.  The only thing this Blogger sees as phony in the Obama Administration is Obama himself, the winner of many Washington Post Pinocchio's for his blatant lies.  We don't call Obama Pinocchio for nothing.  If his nose grows any longer, he will need a wheel barrel to haul it along. 

Fast and Furious, Benghazi, NSA spying on all Americans and now the IRS Dirty Tricks Scandals are all real.   The IRS Dirty Tricks Scandal requires a Special Prosecutor because it is clear that crimes have been committed that may lead all the way to the White House.  If this was a Republican President, Socialists would be calling for Impeachment.   The IRS Scandal is enough to bring down a President and far more serious than Watergate that brought down Nixon.  Of course, this will not happen because Obama is our first Socialist Black President.  It is as simple as that.  The best Republicans are willing to do is to sue Obama in court for his illegal actions, which is better than nothing at all. 

Further, Obama's Executive Orders refusing to execute the laws of the land and or making up new laws, all of which are unconstitutional, which has been adjudicated in various courts, could also be grounds for Impeachment; but again not going to happen.  Obama can continue to spin his lies on the campaign trail; but the American people are not stupid.   We see the fish rotting from the head down and it really stinks.  

EPA To Spend $1.6 Million On Conference

The Environmental Protection Agency will spend about $1.6 million to implement the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council Meeting in Arlington, Virginia.   Of course, this is pencil money for the Agency; but it is still wasted tax payer dollars.  The purpose of the meeting is to solicit Environmental Wacko job killing ideas from the public.  To be fair, this conference has been going on since 1993 and there have been 50 such gatherings, presumably during both Socialist and Republican Administrations.   However, in an Internet age, why do they need it at all.   Certainly, Environmental Wackos can contribute their job killing suggestions on the EPA website. 

But this is not just about environmental protection, it is about combining environmental issues with social justice (code words for high taxation though cap and trade to redistribute income).   Socialists, around the world, are using the environmental issue and global warming, or climate change to push for higher taxes on carbon energy and the rich to use on social programs, which translates into bigger government and more people on Welfare, Food Stamps and Disability Benefits.  As dingy Socialist House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi recently said people working less can focus on "writing poetry".  

I just wish the Socialists would be honest about their real intentions.  Obviously, everybody wants clean air and water; but Common Sense Conservatives also want jobs to create a thriving Middle Class and lift the poor out of poverty.   We support cleaner, safer and cheaper energy to spur economic growth.  You can bet this concept will not be discussed at the upcoming  National Environmental Justice Advisory Council Meeting because it is not political correct.

Supreme Court Strikes Down Obama Executive Over Reach

In a unanimous decision of 9 - 0, the Supreme Count stuck down Socialist President Pinocchio Obama's appointments to the National Labor Relations Board without the required Congressional Approval.  Obama attempted to use Recess Appointments to put Socialist Union Cronies on the NLRB.   The only problem is that the Senate was technically in session.   This was just one more Obama Executive Overreach example, of 13, struck down by the Courts.   Now all the regulations issued by the NLRB during this time period should be null and void.  If nothing else they will all be challenged in court and struck down. 

Obama sees a Republican Congress coming in 2014, which is the reason he has said he has a pen and phone allowing him to work around Congress and do whatever he wants by Executive Order.  There is only one problem with this assertion and it is called the Constitution.   That does not mean that Obama will not continue to dangerously test the boundaries of Executive Power.   Hence, the reason Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner is suing Obama, both for his failure to execute the laws on the books and for making up new laws that were never enacted by Congress.  

All of this is very important because if Obama is allowed to get away with all of these unconstitutional actions, we will end up with a Hitler style dictatorship.   We can't let that happen.   We must use the Courts, when necessary, to stop Obama's usurpation of power.   Our democracy is at stake. 

US Gross Domestic Product Negative 2.9% - First Quarter 2014

Socialist President Pinocchio Obama's job killing policies and Executive Orders are working.   The Bureau of Economic Analysis reported that the the US Gross Domestic Product in the 1st Quarter of 2014 was negative by 2.9%.  This is the worst quarter since the heart of the Recession in 2009.   This is compared to GDP growth of 2.6% in the 1st quarter in 2013.   Economists believe that the cost of ObamaCare has contributed to this dismal decline in growth rate.   We need 3% or more positive GDP growth to see any job creation or economic growth in our country.  

The reality is that the Obama Recession has really never ended.  Millions of Americans have just dropped out of the workforce as we now have the lowest labor participation rate in three decades.  Middle Class income in real terms keeps falling.  What ever job growth there has been since Obama was elected has been is in low paying part or full time jobs.   We now have 50 million Americans living in poverty on Welfare and Food Stamps, the highest number in our country history. 

The Republican led House of Representatives has passed more than 40 bills that would help create jobs, many with bipartisan support.   Socialist Senator Dirty Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader will not even allow those bills to come up for debate in the Senate, let alone a vote.  Obamanistas at the EPA and in Congress are preventing the United States from becoming Energy Independent, which would create millions of jobs.   What we are seeing are many Socialist Schemes that are job killers.  Cards talk and numbers don't lie.  Negative GDP growth in the first quarter of 2014 is an "F" on Obama's report card.  

Dinosaur RINO Beats Tea Party Candidate in Mississippi

Dinosaur RINO Thad Cochran beat Tea Party Conservative Republican Candidate Chris McDaniel in the Republican Party primary run off in Mississippi by a few thousand votes.   Cochran won by appealing to cross over Socialists in the state that were allowed to vote in the Republican Primary by telling them that McDaniel would cut their Food Stamps and Welfare.   Cochran's argument to Socialists was that he brings home the bacon and has done so for more than 36 years in the process of bankrupting our country.  Hopefully, Chris McDaniel will contest the election results because of probable illegal voting by Socialists. 

Of course, RINO Cochran was also supported by other RINO's, Crony Capitalists, Lobbyists like former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour and the US Chamber of Commerce, all of whom have been feeding at the trough for years.  These characters oppose Tea Party Candidates that support limited Constitutional government, lower taxes and less regulations, balancing the Federal Budget and paying off our National Debt.  In other words, those feeding at the trough oppose Common Sense Conservatives committed to ending the fiscal insanity in local, state and federal government borrowing and spending that will lead to the economic collapse of the United States. 

Let's face it.  RINO's and their supporters are just as guilty as bankrupting our country and advancing 100 years of Socialist Creep as the Socialists.   To think otherwise is just plain wrong.   However, the Tea Party is alive and well.   We will win some, as we did in Florida recently and we will lose some; but in the end we will continue the fight to take back our country.   Most important, the Republican Party will either be the Conservative Party of America, or it will be no more.    

Chelsea Clinton Does Not Care About Money - Really

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Hillary and Bill Clinton, recently said in an interview that she doesn't care about money.   Why should she.   Chelsea is married to a millionaire.  It was reported that their wedding cost about $3 million.  So much for the Clinton's being "dead broke" when they left the White House.  Chelsea and her husband live in an $11 million condo in New York City.  You can bet that Chelsea's parents took advantage of the tax code and gave her $10 million tax free.  And of course, Chelsea will inherit her parent's fortune, reported to be more than $100 million dollars, today.  Of course, by the time both Hilly and Billy bite the dust, their fortune will be even more. 

Finally, Chelsea Clinton works for the Clinton Foundation, no doubt collecting a very big salary.  Now, there is nothing wrong with any of this.   It is the American Dream.  The Clinton's, including Chelsea, came from nothing in Arkansas and have used their connections to become multi-millionaires.  Matter of fact, it is surprising that they are not greedy, evil Republicans given their "hard work" growing wealthy.  

Hilly and Billy get about $200,000 for an hour speech, more than the average American earns working in four or five years.  And, both Hilly and Billy have gotten millions of dollars in advances for their books.  To be clear, the Clinton's, including Chelsea, have lived a very privileged life for more than 40 years.   So, it is easy for Chelsea not to care about money, when she has had it her entire life through no fault of her own.   The reality is that the Clinton's have been living off the American taxpayer, one way or another, for years. 

Hillary Clinton Claims She Is Not Rich Because She Pays Taxes

Hillary Clinton continues to suffer from foot in mouth disease during her national book tour and positioning to run for President in 2016.  Hilly claims she is not rich because she pays taxes.   Really.  Hillary Clinton also said they were dead broke when they left the White House, even though Bill Clinton got several million dollars in advance payments for his book.  The Clinton's are reported to be worth over $100 million.   Both Hilly and Billy have received millions in advance payments for their books.   Both reportedly earn $200,000 to give a one hour speech; more than the typical American will earn for four or five years of work. 

Hillary Clinton is trying to portray herself as part of the Middle Class as she makes the argument against income inequality.   This is laughable.  The reality is that the Clinton's have been part of the power elite, connected to Wall Street, for the past 40 years, flying in Air Force One, or private jets, never having to lift a finger to do anything; but collect their money.   They have used the tax code, just like other rich people, to make their daughter Chelsea a millionaire, as well.  And, the Clinton Foundation is in place to pay all of them compensation and benefits.  You can bet the Clinton's did not have to sign up for ObamaCare. 

There is nothing wrong or illegal about any of this; but somehow Republicans, like Mitt Romney and many others, who are rich are evil.  Socialists who are rich are hard working people who have earned their riches.   According to Socialist President Pinocchio Obama and his pals in government, Republicans who are rich stole their money from the poor and Middle Class and they don't pay their "fair share".   The hypocrisy in all of this is laughable.   Both Republicans and Socialists in the power elite use their connections and positions to gain wealth.  It is what is it; so let's at least be honest about it. 

IRS - Time For A Special Prosecutor

It is becoming clearer by the day that the corruption at the IRS is systemic, much like what is happening at the Veterans Affairs Department.  The fish rots from the head back.  That means the senior management of the IRS has been complicit in the IRS Dirty Tricks Scandal and that includes the leadership at the Treasury Department under which the IRS falls.   With the sudden revelation months after they knew it, that the hard drives of various IRS employee's implicated in this Scandal, including Lois Lerner's, "crashed" and supposedly years worth of emails have disappeared, we are now seeing the cover up worse than anything that ever happened in Watergate that brought down a President.  

What a coincidence that out of thousands of IRS computers that these particular computers "crashed" and that these hard drives have been "recycled" in an attempt to destroy evidence.  Of course, we all know that these emails are stored on servers and that they should be retrievable.  Obamanistas either believe that the American people are really stupid and or they are now just trying to play out the clock because this Scandal probably leads right to the White House.

Obamanistas at the IRS, Justice, Treasury, the Federal Election Commission and the White House simply cannot be trusted to properly investigate the IRS Dirty Tricks Scandal.  They are all involved.  Officials in the Obama Administration ordered the targeting of Tea Party Conservative and Religious Groups, that support traditional marriage and are opposed to abortion on demand.   We know that now without doubt.  And, it is even worse as Lois Lerner sent a million or more Conservative taxpayer files over to the FBI, under the Justice Department, for investigation, in violation of the law. 

It is time for a Special Prosecutor to follow the trail to see where it leads beyond Lois Lerner.   While various on-going lawsuits may eventually get to the truth by subpoena of documents from various government departments to put the pieces together, a civil lawsuit will not result in criminal action.  Many of these Obamanistas not only should be FIRED.   They should go to jail.  Only a Special Prosecutor can make that happen.  The credibility of the IRS is at stake especially now that the IRS is the ObamaCare Gestapo.  Those involved that violated the law need to go to jail. 

Democracy In The Middle East - Not Going To Happen

With the exception of Israel, Western style democracy in the Middle East is not going to happen.  What we see taking place in Syria and Iraq just makes the point.  The best we can hope for is a benevolent, corrupt Dictator, friendly to the United States, interested in stability in order to maintain his family and friend's bank accounts in Switzerland.  Even if these Dictators are hostile to Western countries, for local purposes to stay in power, as long as these characters don't make trouble in the region, or for us, we should be prepared to live with them.  At some point, we can't worry about how they treat their citizens.  It can't be our business. 

The problem is that Sunni's in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar and Shites in Iran are funding Terrorism around the world and the proxy wars against each other that do impact us.  If they were just killing each other, though horrible, it would be none of our business.  Unfortunately, they preach hatred of Western values and democracy and that is a threat to both Israel and the United States, so we can't totally ignore them even if we were energy independent.  As such, we have to make it clear that if they mess with us, there will be serious consequences including drone strikes to wipe them out. 

Most important, the notion that these Arab or Persian Middle Eastern countries can somehow become Western style democracies is ridiculous.   It is not their tradition.  Mohammad spread Islam by the sword; not some miraculous conversion.  Middle Eastern countries have been ruled by Dictators for centuries going all the way back to Pharaohs and Kings.  There has never been a Magna Carta in the Middle East, as happened in 1215 in Britain when the ruling families demanded more rights and a limit on King John's powers, setting in place the road to democracy in the Western world. 

The notion of a Western style Constitution in these Islamic countries in not going to happen.   If anything when ever they do put in place a Constitution, it is used to discriminate against their internal enemies.  As such, we need to stop trying to impose our values on these peoples.  In many ways, the Russians have it right.  They support any Dictator friendly to them and oppose any group that is a threat to stability.   In that sense, the Russians are more realistic concerning their foreign policy.   Socialist President Pinocchio Obama has no foreign policy.   Obama just goes from crisis to crisis hoping he can get through the next day.  While we should always stand with Israel, the only real democracy in the Middle East; otherwise, we need to rethink our entire approach to the Middle East.  Obviously, what we have been doing for decades is not working. 

CFPB - More Federal Government Big Brother

It isn't bad enough that the National Security Agency is spying on all Americans, now the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau wants in on the act.  The CFPB, created under the Dodd Frank law to "protect consumers" regulates the mortgage industry.  This agency and bureaucracy has already grown to more than 1,400 employees and has a half a billion dollar budget.  The CFPB recently spent $185 million tax payer dollars renovating a building the government does not even own.  Gosh that makes sense. 

In any case, the CFPB has created a National Data Base to store the Names, Social Security Numbers, IP Addresses, GPS Coordinates, phone numbers, addresses, religious faith, political affiliation, education, employment records and other personal data of mortgage holders.  This is a joint effort of the CFPB and the FHFA, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, that maintains the National Mortgage Database.  Presumably, mortgage companies will somehow have to gather this information as part of the mortgage process, which is unbelievable, as though getting a mortgage today is not hard enough. 

Naturally, various members of Congress are opposed to this process.  Hopefully, there will be bi-partisan opposition to this incredible invasion of privacy, not to mention a lawsuit to stop Big Brother in court.  These Obamanista Socialists continue to ignore the Constitution.  This is nothing new; but this invasion of privacy is outrageous.  All should rise up and just say NO when asked to provide this information to Big Brother.  

Common Core - Headed To The Trash Heap Of History

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindahl, wisely issued an Executive Order to end the implementation of Common Core, the federalization of public education.  Of course, the liberal Education Estabishment in Louisiana is saying they will ignore his order.  Nevertheless, Jindahl has joined Indiana, South Carolina and Oklahoma that have already rejected Common Core.  Nebraska, Texas and Arkansas never accepted Common Core.  Nine more states are in the process of repealing Common Core for their states.  Parents, Teachers and state elected officials are finally seeing that the federalization of public education is bad for kids, teachers and their states.

Common Core is an attempt by Socialists, RINO's, the US Chamber of Commerce and some other high profile billionaires to create federal standards and testing for our public schools.  The problem with the concept is that the federal government has no business being involved at all because education should be a local and state issue.   Common Core is another big government Socialist Scheme aimed at implementing a propaganda laden, politically correct curriculum.  It has nothing to do with improving education.  This is about federal government overreach.  It is another Veterans Affairs Scandal waiting to happen. 

Anyone really interested in improving public education should support an end to Teacher Tenure so bad teachers can be fired.  We also need to end Teacher Union collective bargaining that is often at the expense of kids.  We need school vouchers in place for kids in failing public schools so that poor parents have the same option as rich parents, including the Obama's, that often send their kids to private schools to avoid inner city public schools.  We need merit pay for great teachers. Kids that are consistently disruptive should be sent to specials schools for them so that teachers do not need to spend 50% of their time dealing with discipline problems.  Most important, everyone who works in public education must be held accountable for results. 

Common Core does not address any of these critical issues.  If we don't deal with the issues described above, public schools in our inner cities in particular are destined to fail.   And, it is not about more money for public education.   We already spend more than any other industrialized nation on public education, in many places, only to achieve mediocre, or poor results.  So more money is not the answer.  Unless we face up the real problems in public education nothing will change. 

Benghazi Terrorist Ring Leader Finally Arrested

More than 600 days after our Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were murdered in Benghazi by Ansar al-Sharia Terrorists, with links to Al Queda, US forces finally apprehended one of their ring leaders, Ahmed Abu Khattala, that committed the crime.   The fact that this guy has been on the streets in Libya visible, from the very first day is puzzling, particularly since he was interviewed by the press.   In any case, Khattala is now in US custody.

That is the good news.  The bad news is that rather than sending this Terrorist to Guantanamo Bay (GITMO) for prolonged interrogation, the Obama/Holder Justice Department is bringing him back to the US to be tried under US law in Washington DC federal courts.  Once he hits US territory, he will be read his Miranda Rights and then get lawyered up so that further interrogation will end.  That is pretty darn dumb. 

Obama is so determined to close GITMO, which is a prison resort in the Caribbean, that he will sacrifice the national security of the United States.   Hopefully, Khattala will get the death penalty for the murders he committed; but it would have been great if he could have been pumped for more information so that we could go after his pals before that happens.   What is wrong with this President. 

What Happens In Iraq Will Not Stay In Iraq

Most Americans are understandably tired of years of war and the high price we have paid in blood and treasure in both Iraq and Afghanistan.  Unfortunately, just because Socialist President Pinocchio Obama declares these wars over and we pull out our troops does not make it so.  Obama should have maintained a contingency of advisers in Iraq, the same as we did in Japan, Europe and South Korea after World War II and the Korean War to insure the peace.   Iraq began to disintegrate literally the day we pulled out all our troops.   And, if Iraq just broke into three separate countries run by the Kurds, the Sunnis and the Shites, who would care if all of this could be contained to part of the world. 

But that is not what is going to happen.   What happens in Iraq will not stay in Iraq for a variety of reasons.  Sunnis and Shites hate each other and having been killing each other for centuries.   This is really a battle between Arabs and Iranian Persians.  However, if that is all it was, while the misery they are causing each other is horrible, if it only involved them, life could go on for the rest of the world.  Unfortunately, both radical Islamic Sunnis and Shites hate Westerners and Israel and our way of life as much as they hate each other. 

The Sunnis goal is to establish a caliphate, run by a dictator, in control of the whole Middle East and North Africa.  The Iranians long for the days when there was a Persian empire, before Alexander the Great, a Westerner destroyed it, when they were in control of the whole Middle East and part of North Africa.   Either scenario threatens the national security interest of the United States and our allies because these peoples will not live in peace with us. 

These radical, Islamic fundamentalists hate everything Western; our freedom, the role of women in society and our economic and military power.   They have been a war with us for years and long before 9/11.  If Al Queda is successful in taking over Iraq, other parts of the Middle East and North Africa and eventually Afghanistan,  they will control our access to oil, the life blood of our economy.  And, they will spread terrorism around the world, killing Westerners by the thousands.   We can't allow that to happen.  One way or another, the United States will have to fight to protect our freedom and way of life.  Sadly, it is what it is.   We cannot bury our heads in the sand and just hope this will all go away. 

Teacher Tenure Ruled UnConstitutional

In California, no less, where teacher unions rule the state, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rolf Treu ruled that Teacher Tenure is unconstitutional.   In a case brought by a Silicon Valley group called Students Matter, representing 9 students,  alleging that since Teacher Tenure makes it nearly impossible to FIRE poor teachers, that this practice was preventing millions of poor and minority kids, in particular, from getting a quality education.  Of course, since School Voucher are not an option in California, this is true and the Judge agreed in the case titled Vergara Versus California. 

Ironically, Judge Trea cited the landmark Brown Versus Board of Education case guaranteeing minority kids equal protection under the law, which stuck down "separate but equal" schools.   Even better, the judge could have just cited common sense.  Obviously, a poor or incompetent teacher cannot provide a quality education to any student.  Yet, there are thousands of poor and incompetent teachers all over the United States collecting a pay check and then later a great pension.  It has to stop if we are ever to improve public education. 

The real basis for improving public education is creating competition by allowing kids in failing public schools to get School Vouchers, ending Teacher Tenure so that poor teachers can be FIRED and paying merit pay to great teachers.   All of this would allow for more accountability for results, or the lack there of.   We also need to get back to basics in the curriculum and end the politically correct B--L S--T.   Students should either be college bound, if they have the grades and intellect, or given the requirement of vocational education to gain a marketable job skill in order to get a job after high school graduation.  In addition, kids who are discipline problems should be sent to special schools to deal with their issues, if they are consistently disruptive, to allow other kids to learn.   Doing all of these things, rather than Common Core, the federalization of our public schools, would improve public education.   Maintaining the status quo is a road to no where. 

The teacher unions will appeal this court ruling, striking down Teacher Tenure, for as long as it takes.  This will likely go all the way to the Supreme Court taking years.  In the mean time, thousands of poor teachers remain on the job hurting kids.  What a shame.   Socialists and their teacher union allies just don't care about kids.  If they did, they would come out against Teacher Tenure.  Not going to happen. 
 

IRS Dirty Tricks - Now The Cover Up

Like the Veterans Affairs Scandal, the IRS Dirty Tricks Scandal is much bigger than originally thought.  We knew that Lois Lerner, the Director at the IRS, ordered subordinates to target Conservative and Religious groups deemed as "enemies" to Socialist President Pinocchio Obama and his pals in Congress.  Of course, we still don't know who in the Obama Campaign told Lerner to take this action.   And, we may never know because the Cover Up has begun.   Suddenly, thousands of Lerner's email, requested by Congress, have just disappeared due to a hard drive crash.  These just happen to be the emails between Lerner and the White House, Department of Treasury, Department of Justice, the Federal Election Commission and the office of various high ranking Democrats.  Go figure.

Of course, this is all utter baloney because emails are always backed-up on servers and fairly easy to retrieve even if an individual hard drive crashes.   That is the whole point of periodic back up of computers.   It took the IRS a year to tell Congress that these emails just disappeared into thin air.  While the Justice Department is supposedly conducting an investigation, liar Attorney General Eric Holder assigned an Obama crony and campaign donor to lead the investigation.   What a surprise!!

And now, we have learned that the IRS shipped a million or more Americans tax records to the Holder FBI in 2010 presumably for investigation and scrutiny.   Supposedly, the FBI just looked at the table of contents and then returned the documents, since what the IRS did was a violation of the law.  It is pretty obvious that both the Justice Department and the IRS have been politicized by Obaministas to a degree not seen since the Nixon Administration.   In fact, Obama makes Nixon look like a choir boy.   

Oh what a tangled web these Obamanistas weave when the practice to lie, cheat, extort, steal, and bribe in order to advance their Socialist Schemes to continue feeding at the trough.  The IRS is now implementing the Cover Up in an attempt to run out the clock for the remainder of the Obama Presidency because all of their illegal actions no doubt lead to the White House, one way or another.  Many of these characters at the IRS and in the government who ordered these illegal actions, should not only be FIRED, they should go to jail.   But don't count on that happening as long as Obama is President and Holder is the Attorney General.  The rule of law doesn't matter to either Obama or Holder and unfortunately short of impeachment, which is not on the table, there isn't much the Congress, or the Courts will do about it.  Sadly, it is what it is.

Iraq, Veterans Affairs, IRS Dirty Tricks, Immigration - Obama Golfing & Fundraising

Iraq is disintegrating, the Veterans Affairs Scandal is even bigger than first thought, IRS Dirty Tricks are even greater and our border with Mexico has collapsed, yet Socialist President Pinocchio Obama flew off to Palm Springs, California to play golf and raise funds.  This is the same thing Obama did the night our Ambassador and three other Americans were killed in Benghazi as Obama turned up the next day in Las Vegas to raise campaign funds.  What is wrong with this incompetent President.  Our nation is facing serious problems on all fronts; but rather than stay in Washington DC and do his job, the President takes time for golf and fundraising. 

Iraq is falling apart.  Obamanistas knew this was coming for the last year, but did nothing to stop it from happening.  Now the Al Queda Terrorists are about 40 miles outside Baghdad and closing in on the capital of Iraq.  Iran has stepped into the void since we left no troops behind to support the Iraqi government.  Iran now has its Revolutionary Guard fighting in Iraq to support their Shite Allies and the Iraqi government.  Expect to see more Iranian troops move into Iraq, since Obama is not willing to send in even a small contingent of US soldiers, which if nothing else will be needed to protect our embassy in Iraq.  Obama is "studying" his options.  Rome burned while Nero fiddled. 

And, don't think this will not impact the American people.  Al Queda Terrorists are attempting to set up an Islamic Radical caliphate in the Middle East, in control of the oil fields, thanks to Obama's red line in the sand in Syria.   The cost of oil is already going up.   Aside from the threat to our National Security, the price of gasoline will sky rocket in the months and years ahead, which will be a disaster for the poor and middle class in the United States.

The Veterans Affairs Scandal is system wide.  Somebody at the Veterans Affairs Department gave the order to "cook the books' related to reporting information tied to bonuses that was just not true.  Several hundred bureaucrats at the VA had to be in on this fraud.  Finally, the Eric Holder Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation.  Many of these characters not only need to be FIRED, they need to go to jail; but don't count on it.

IRS Dirty Tricks are even greater than first thought.  In 2010, the IRS sent over the records of more than a million Americans to the FBI.  Supposedly, the FBI only looked at the table of contents and sent back the records.  Yah sure!   And, now the IRS claims that two years worth of Lois Lerner's emails, the IRS Director who ordered the targeting of Conservative and religious groups, just disappeared.  Congress has been asking for those emails for more than a year; but just now the IRS determined that they are gone.   First of all, emails don't just disappear.  They are backed up on servers and easily accessible.  The IRS is now also guilty of a cover up.   This is Nixon all over again.

Our border with Mexico has literally collapsed as thousands of illegal alien children, without adults, have come across the border.   The border patrol is warehousing these children at various military bases around the country.  Obama opened this door when he used an Executive Order to declare that children would not be deported.   We already have 400,000 children in the foster care system.  If Obama does not act, we are likely to see another 200,000 illegal alien children crossing our border in the next year.  Things are out of control. 

Yet Obama has time to fly to Palm Springs for golfing and fundraising.  About every few weeks, we learn of a new Obama Scandal.  Obama is not only a lame duck President, his Presidency is really over.  If that was all that was happening, who would care; but all of these things will negatively impact the American people.   All we can do is count the days until January 20, 2017 when a new President hopefully with experience and common sense takes over. 

Conservative Need To Walk The Talk Or Suffer The Plank

Establishment Republicans, often in office for years, most of whom profess to be avid Conservatives that support Free Market Capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulations, need to walk the talk, or suffer the plank and be thrown out of office.  The problem with many of these characters is that they often vote to support Crony Capitalism, bigger government, higher taxes and more regulations and that is where the rubber hits the road.   House Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor just lost in a stunning Primary defeat because he talks a good game; but is more than willing to do deals with Socialists in Congress that continue the 100 years of Socialist Creep that is bankrupting our country. 

Common Sense Conservative voters in the 7th district of Virginia said ENOUGH as they overwhelming supported David Brat, an unknown Economics Professor, who teaches at a small local college. Brat, the giant killer, simply professed the traditional Republican Conservative ideals of Free Market Capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulations along with the need to secure our border to take down Cantor.  Brat, who only spent about $200,000 on his campaign, came out of no where and went door to door preaching these Conservative values, promising that if elected he would Walk The Talk and not compromise with Socialists once he got to Congress.  Cantor, who had a $5 million war chest and spent a good deal of it on things like steak dinners for $168,000 during his campaign, just lost touch with his constituents. 

The reality is that both Establishment Republicans and Tea Party Conservatives supposedly support the same Conservative ideology and values.  However, when push comes to shove, Establishment Republicans don't walk the talk.  As a result, the Conservative base of the Republican Party is determined to force out these RINO's that have been feeding at the trough for years. We will win some and we will lose some; but we won't go away any time soon until we take back the Republican Party and our country.  On to Mississippi next. 

US Border With Mexico Has Collapsed

The United States has entered a new phase of the invasion by illegal aliens coming across our border with Mexico.  The word is out that parents in Latin America can just send their kids across the border and that our country will take care of them.  Thousands of children under the age of 18 are coming across our border, including very small children and just turning themselves in to the Border Patrol.  It is anticipated that by the end of the year, more than one hundred thousand children will enter our country illegally, without any parents.  The Border Patrol is overwhelmed.  These children are now being shipped to Arizona and other states. 

The US border with Mexico has essentially collapsed.  Obamanistas are now clueless what to do with these children.  Unless they have family in the United States, we are facing a humanitarian crisis, since these children are technically orphans.  Most important, they are coming into our country with the typical childhood diseases; but it is very possible that some of these children could have tuberculosis, or other serious diseases, common in Latin America, which are highly contagious.  So now what. 

This Blogger has said for years that we need to station the US Army on our border with Mexico to shut it down.  A nation that cannot control its borders will not remain a nation long.  Immigration Reform and Amnesty were obviously an issue in the recent primary election in Virginia that cost House Republican Majority Leader Eric Holder his seat.  It may very well have been that the pictures of these children, in holding camps, led to Holder's defeat, since he has been pushing for Immigration Reform, though that was certainly not the only issue that resulted in Holder's defeat.   Conservatives in that district mobilized to get rid of an Establishment Republican even though Eric Holder talks like a Conservative.  Holder's problem is that he is more than willing to cut deals with the Socialists that are causing the bankruptcy of the United States.  Conservatives in Holder's district had enough. 

In any case, Immigration Reform is now dead at least this year.  Watch Socialist President Pinocchio Obama and his Executive Orders.  Obama may very well attempt to give Amnesty to the 11 million Illegal Aliens already in the United States.  Obama could even just open the border further.  This is going to get really ugly.  In the mean time, these illegal alien orphan children are streaming into our company, with no end in sight.   This is another Obama Scandal.   

Veterans Affairs Scandal - Another Socialist Scheme

Socialist Senator Bernie Sonders of Vermont and RINO Senator John McCain of Arizona have teamed up to sponsor legislation to build 26 more federal government medical facilities run by the Veterans Affairs Department, no doubt at a cost of hundreds of millions, or billions of dollars.   Are they completely NUTS.   Many in management at the Veterans Affairs Department have been "cooking the books" reporting phony metrics concerning medical services to VETS that were never provided to earn bonuses that were undeserved.  Those bureaucrats should not only be FIRED, they should be prosecuted for fraud and stealing from the American Taxpayer and sent to jail.  So now, Socialist Sonders and RINO McCain want to double down buy building even more medical facilities run by the Veterans Affairs Department "to make things better".   This is insane. 

The Veterans Affairs Scandal is just one more example, of many, of big government failure.   The last thing we need to do is make the Veterans Affairs Department even bigger, adding to their annual budget, that has grown substantially during the Obama Presidency.  If anything, all Veterans Medical Facilities should be sold off and privatized.  VETS presumably fall under ObamaCare, which would allow them to either get highly subsidized medical insurance, or pay what they can afford to buy private medical insurance.  Even if the federal government picked up the entire tab for all medical care for poor VETS under the Medicaid Program as a Veterans Benefit, VETS would be far better off because they would not be confined to Veterans Affairs Department care.  They could go to any doctor, or hospital that takes Medicaid.

In any case, it makes no sense to build 26 more Veterans Affairs medical facilities at taxpayer expense.   There are only so many doctors to go around anyway.  Just building more government facilities will not solve the problem and only add to the chaos.   Instead, VETS should be free to seek medical care where ever and when ever they can get it in the private sector.  Big government is rarely the solution and is almost always the problem.   If we have not learned that lesson in this latest government fiasco at the Veterans Affairs Department, we have learned nothing.   Given our National Debt, with no end in sight, perhaps we have learned nothing. 

Hillary Clinton - Here She Goes Again

This Blogger believes the odds of Hillary Clinton running for President in 2016 are about 50/50.   Naturally, the Clinton's like the big house, the jet and all the trappings that go with the job; who wouldn't; but the real question is does Hillary have the stomach to get there.  At 69 years old, Hilly may just prefer to make $100,000 a speech, serve on Boards and sleep in.  If she does decide to run, she will not have an easy time of it.  Despite the lame stream left wing media's adoration, all the old Scandals will come back to haunt.  Does Hillary really want to live through Monica Lewinsky again. 

But there is even worse.   Hillary Clinton achieved very little during her days in the White House, serving in the Senate, or as Secretary of State, unless of course just showing up qualifies someone to be President of the United States.  Of course, Pinocchio Obama was elected and he didn't even show up much, so I guess anything is possible.  However, Hilly has Benghazi hanging over her head.  When she screamed at a Senate Hearing, "what difference does it make anyway" concerning Obamanista Propaganda about the Terrorist attack, you can bet that clip will show up in a TV commercial.  Even more important, the commercial Hilly attempted to use against Obama in the 2008 Primary with the phone ringing at 3 o'clock in the morning will absolutely be used against Hilly because during Benghazi, nobody knows where Obama was, while our American Ambassador and three others were murdered.  Hillary Clinton was apparently at her posh Georgetown Home, rather than on the job in the White House Situation Room, where they both should have been to properly deal with this Terrorist Attack that was anything but spontaneous, as originally described by Obamanistas. 

In addition, there may be some shenanigans with the Clinton Foundation, headed by Bill Clinton and his daughter Chelsea, presumably to do good works in the world.   The United Nations designated Bill Clinton to coordinate aide to Haiti, after the devastating hurricane that destroyed the island, which has apparently been money down a rat hole.   In the process of Bubba jet setting around the world, the Clinton's have become multi-millionaires peddling influence.  No doubt, there is some muck to be raked in this story that will come to light if Hilly runs for President. 

Hillary Clinton is smart enough to know that she will be an easy target if she throws her hat in the ring.  At a minimum, this will not be a coronation.  Besides, there are many Americans who are just plain sick and tired of both the Clinton's and Bush's.   We need new ideas and new blood in office, not same old, same old.  Hillary Clinton should go off into the sunset and enjoy her private life.   Please Hilly, spare us the drama of a Clinton Presidency.   We just can't take it any more after 8 years of Drama Obama. 

Chinese Billionaire Buys Bankrupt Fisker Automotive

Chinese billionaire Lu Guanqui, the Chairman of Wanxiang Group, China's largest maker of auto parts, scooped up Fisker Automotive for $149.2 million out of bankruptcy court.  The Chinese are great Capitalists, so this Blogger has no problem with the acquisition.  However, Fisker was one of Socialist President Pinocchio Obama's Green Energy Investments that went bankrupt.   The American taxpayer lost $139 million on this deal.  I know, I know, this is chump change in Washington DC; but it is still our money down a rat hole. 

In business, someone usually gets FIRED, or could even go to jail for bad decisions.   In the federal government, rather than getting FIRED or going to jail, these characters get promoted and are often paid bonuses.   Look, I am sure there are many hard working people working for the federal government; but there are also a bunch of losers and crooks.  Just when are we going to see those who make bad decisions face consequences.  Many of Obama's Green Investments have ended up in bankruptcy.  It has cost the American taxpayer billions of dollars. 

Who ever signed on the dotted line making these investments needs to be FIRED.  Obviously, the federal government stepped into these risky deals because both investors and banks passed on the deal.   HELLO.   If investors and banks were not interested that is because the business proposition, as an investment, was just not there.   It is time for the federal government to stop all the Crony Capitalism that we see happening.  Obama rewards his political donors with loans and or grants.   These Crony Capitalists gets rich and the American taxpayer often gets screwed.  It has to stop.   

Socialist Politicians - Missing In Action

Socialist Politicians, particularly those running for reelection from red states, are abandoning Socialist President Pinocchio Obama like rats scurrying off a sinking ship.  Who can blame them.   After Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS Dirty Tricks, NSA spying on all Americans, ObamaCare, EPA Gestapo tactics, the Veterans Affairs mess and now the Bergdahl Scandal and all the associated lies coming out of Obamanistas on a daily basis about these Scandals, even die hard Socialists can't defend the indefensible.  Or course, Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada, the Senate Majority Leader, who suffers from foot in mouth disease, parrots the spin and propaganda out of the White House, as does National Security Advisor Susan Rice; who appears dumber than wood, but otherwise most other Socialists are Missing In Action.

All of these Scandals are the reason we are not seeing many of the usual Big Mouth Socialist Politicians on TV.   It is pretty hard to defend Obama, who is both incompetent and a clear and present danger to our nation.  Even Socialist Senator Diane Feinstein of California, one of the more moderate Socialists in the regime, has criticized Obama for the recent swap of 5 high level Taliban Terrorists for Bowe Bergdahl because is was down right stupid and a threat to our National Security.   

We will see more distancing by Socialists from Obama as we get closer to the 2014 election.  By 2016, the Socialists, including Hillary Clinton, will not even utter Obama's name because it will be lethal.  Ultimately, when it comes to elections, it is every man and woman for him or herself.   Feeding at the trough is just too lucrative to risk losing a Senate or House seat just to defend an incompetent, lame duck President.  Believe me, it is not only those of us that oppose Obama's Socialist Schemes that are counting the days until January 20, 2017 to end the Obama Nightmare,  it is many members of the Socialist Party, as well.  By the time Obama leaves office, it will be good riddance by most Americans.     

Obama Dumping Illegal Aliens In Arizona

For some bizarre reason, yet unknown, Socialist President Pinocchio Obama, through various federal government agencies, is dumping illegal aliens, captured in Texas and perhaps other states, into Arizona.  This includes a 1,000 or more unaccompanied children that have somehow made it across the border.  Naturally, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer is on the war path with Obama.  Hopefully, the Attorney General of Arizona will go to court in an attempt to stop this invasion that will cost Arizona tax payers dearly.   Obama, who just traded five high level Taliban Terrorists for a deserter, who may also have been a traitor, simple refuses to do what is necessary to shut down our border with Mexico.

It should be no surprise.   Many Socialist Obamanistas do not even recognize our border.  Radical Chicanos, that support Socialists in office, see the border as a major inconvenience.  Many of them believe that border states should be part of Mexico, since those states were lost to Mexico in the Mexican American War.  Obviously, Mexico cannot take back those states by invasion, or war with the US, so the next best thing is an invasion by Mexican citizens to turn border states into a defacto part of Mexico.

Mexicans that come to the United States are hard working people trying to take care of the families; but in the process they are costing the taxpayers of many border states billions of dollars for public education, medical services and the criminal justice system.   We are broke.  We can no longer be Mexico's safety valve dealing with poverty in their country.  There are 38 families that control all wealth in Mexico denying prosperity to their people.  It has to stop.   It is time for Mexico to put free market policies in place to further create a middle class in Mexico to make illegal immigration unnecessary.   We must demand that Mexico take care of their own people.  The American people, including many immigrants that are in our country legally, can't do it anymore. 

Obama's Scheme To Close GITMO

Socialist President Pinocchio Obama has foolishly wanted to close Guantanamo Bay (GITMO) since the day he was elected.   The problem is that Congress, on a bi-partisan basis, is opposed to closing GITMO and for very good reason.   The Terrorists held there are a serious threat to our National Security.  So once again, in violation of the law, in essence by Executive Order,  Obama has found a way to close down GITMO.  It this case, he traded Taliban Terrorists being held at GITMO for an American hostage.  That is exactly what apparently happened with deserter and perhaps traitor Sargent Bowe Bergdahl.   Now that Terrorist Groups around the world know that Obama is willing to do a 5 for 1 trade to free an American, we can expect to see more kidnappings around the world.

The fact that six soldiers died trying to find Bergdahl, who deserted his post and may have been a collaborator resulting in even more American deaths, is of no concern to Obama.  There are 100 or more Terrorists remaining at GITMO.  On that basis, we could see 20 more Americans kidnapped so that Obama can release all of them.  It is just plain crazy, not to mention dangerous.  Many of these Terrorists will end up on the battlefield killing more Americans.  Obama just does not get any of this and or he doesn't care.  Though Obama may be declaring the war over in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Northern Africa, the Middle East and other part of the world, unfortunately Islamic Radical Fundamentalists are not part of this deal.  They are still at war with us.

Specific to Sargent Bergdahl, the Obamanista story keeps changing daily.   It has gone from Obama could not comply with the law to inform Congress 30 days before any release because Bergdahl's health was failing.   We now know that was not true.   Then it became that the Terrorists threatened to kill Bergdahl if the terms of the deal became known.   We now know this isn't true.  What is true is that Bergdahl at a minimum is a deserter and that he may even be a traitor.  We also know that members of his platoon were required to sign a non-disclosure statement prohibiting them from discussing Bergdahl.  During the course of Berdahl's five years in captivity, his kidnappers offered to free him for ransom money, which Obama refused to do.  Further, there are now records that show that Bergdahl apparently became one of them and had some degree of freedom of movement.  He even escaped once to be recaptured.  Finally, Bergdahl converted to Islam and declared himself a Jihadi Taliban supporter.   This guy is a traitor. 

So given all these facts, why on earth did Pinocchio Obama free five high level Taliban Commanders, that no doubt will end up back in the battle field to kill Americans, to get Bergdahl free and back to the United States.  The answer is simple.  Obama is determined to close GITMO and since he cannot get it done with Congressional approval, he will get it done by Executive Order, even if it violates the law.  Surprise, Surprise.   This is just one more Obama Scandal.   January 20, 2017 can't come soon enough. 

Dirty Harry Pushes Change To Constitution to Limit Conservative Speech

Senator Dirty Harry Reid of Nevada, the Senate Majority Leader is pushing for a Constitutional Amendment to limit, or abolish the ability of Conservative Groups, or persons to donate money to support Conservative candidates and causes.  In particular, Reid's initiative is aimed at the Koch Brothers, the villains that Reid uses to raise money for Socialists.   Of course, this potential Constitutional Amendment will go no where; but it is great red meat for the base of the Socialist Party, which Reid needs if he has any hope of retaining the Senate in 2014, so Reid can continue feeding at the trough.  The fact that there are Socialist billionaires, like George Soros and others along with big unions that also donate billions of dollars to impact election results does not seem to be a problem for Reid.  What a surprise.

The First Amendment of the Constitution guarantees freedom of speech and that includes spending our money any way we choose to in order to impact elections.   Socialists have spent unlimited amounts of money for decades to win elections.  With recent Supreme Court rulings, there is now a level playing field that allows Conservatives to match Socialist monies dollar for dollar.   And, let's face it, Socialists get all the free press and coverage from the left wing lame stream media and the public school and university system that does not compare to whatever exposure may be provided on Fox News.

Dirty Harry just does not like having a level playing field for a change to get the truth out to voters.  Always, remember, Socialists will lie, cheat, steal, borrow, extort and history teaches even murder to stay in power feeding at the trough.  Dirty Harry Reid deals in propaganda not the truth.   Naturally, Dirty Harry Reid does not it like much when the truth sees the light of day.   

Another Obama Scandal - The Deal For Bergdahl

It appears that Sargent Bowe Bergdahl, held in captivity for five years by the Taliban in Afghanistan, may have been a deserter and or an active collaborator with the enemy.  There is an Intelligence Community Classified file on this soldier that makes this whole case highly suspicious.  Further, Berghahl's father, who is apparently a Muslim, may have been in contact with the Taliban, since he appears to be both anti-American and a Terrorist sympathiser.  This whole case is starting to stink to the high heavens. 

Soldiers apparently died actually looking for Bergdahl who was AWOL, Absent Without Leave, when he was "captured" by the Taliban.  Bergdahl published anti-American Internet posts before his capture.   His father did the same throughout this whole ordeal.  The fact that Socialist President Pinocchio Obama traded five high level Taliban commanders, to obtain Bergdahl's release, is starting to look pretty crazy.  Clearly, Obama violated the law in doing so. 
Further, Obamanistas have lied again saying that they had to move quickly, rather than follow the law requiring notice to Congress, because Bergdahl's health was deteriorating.  This deal is really about closing GITMO, Obama's real objective.  Bergdahl's bearded father spoke in Arabic at the White House in front of the President presumably thanking Allah for his son's release.  In addition, Bergdahl's father has also pledged to work to get all the Terrorists held captive at GITMO released.  So apparently Obama and Bergdahl's father are on the same page. 

This story is starting to turn into another Obama Scandal.  Obama most definitely negotiated with Terrorists to obtain the release of Bergdahl.   This is not a prisoner swap, negotiated between two sovereign governments, as alleged by Obamanistas.   The Taliban is a Terrorist organization not a sovereign government.  It may very well be that Sargent Bowe Bergdahl should be arrested and court marshaled for desertion and maybe even treason.   This is a bizarre case to say the least; but most important, once again Socialist President Obama has made a real mess of things and has acted illegally ignoring the law.   So what's new. 

Edward Snowden - Whistle Blower Or Traitor

Edward Snowden blew the whistle on the US National Security Agency's Surveillance Program spying on all Americans.   Does that make him a hero or a traitor.  There is no doubt that 9/11 has changed our country and the world forever.  As someone who was in the New York City area when 9/11 occurred and more than 3,000 people were murdered, I initially supported measures to make sure that Terrorists could not harm our nation again.  Now, I am having second thoughts because of the government over reach that we see. 

Today, to protect our national security and our country, the federal government ignores the Constitution and violates our freedoms.  Whether it is the NSA Scandal, or the IRS Dirty Tricks Scandal, it seems pretty obvious that our freedoms are under attack.   Rather than focusing on likely Terrorists, all law abiding Americans are now under suspicion as our phones and emails are monitored.   This is all starting to feel very Totalitarian like Big Brother is always watching.   

Edward Snowden did us a service by bringing this to light.  He may have gone too far if what he has done really has caused harm to our National Security.  However, history teaches us that we have reason to fear Big Government as much as Terrorists.  In fact, Socialist, Communist and Fascist governments have murdered far more people in the name of ideology than anything Terrorist could ever accomplish, unless of course they ever get their hands on nuclear, or biological weapons, which we can never allow.  Yes, we have reason to fear Terrorists; but we should be just as concerned about an over reaching federal government that is intruding into all aspect of daily life.   How is it good if the government protects us from Terrorists; but we lose our freedom in the process. 

Racist Republicans Choose Cruz and Carson

In a straw poll at the recent Republican Leadership Conference, 1,500 Delegates chose Senator Ted Cruz from Texas and Doctor Ben Carson as their top two choices for the Presidency in 2016.  Oh wait a minute, I thought all Republican were racists, so why did party leaders choose a Conservative Hispanic and a Black Man as the two people out of a field of many White men as their top choices.   The answer is simple.  It is because of their Conservative Common Sense ideas; not their ethnic heritage, or skin color.  Both of these men are really, really smart so that doesn't hurt either.

This Blogger has been saying for years that nobody cares about the color of Obama's skin.  As a former history and government teacher, I really like the fact that we have elected our first Black President because I fully understand the historical significance.  It also means there may be hope some day of electing someone of Italian origin.  We don't all belong to the Mafia, contrary to popular belief. 

In any case, it is Obama's Socialist Schemes that we oppose.  Contrary to assertions by many Socialists and the lame stream, left wing media, our opposition has absolutely nothing to do with the color of Obama's skin.  We would be just as vehement in our opposition to these Socialist Schemes, if it was a left wing, White Man, or Woman proposing these job killers.  

Gross Domestic Product shrunk by 1% in the first quarter of 2014.   We are going backwards.  Millions of Americans have just ceased looking for a job because there are few available for their skill set in the Obama Economy.  Blacks in particular have really suffered under Obamanomics as their unemployment rate is about double the national average.   Middle Class income has gone down in the Obama years.  About the only things that have gone up are the poverty rate and the number of people on Disability, Welfare and Food Stamps.  

Obama will go down as one of the worst Presidents in American history not because he is Black; but because it is all about the numbers, stupid.  The Obama years have been great for Wall Street because of low interest rates; but lousy for Main Street.  Facts are facts and they don't come in any particular skin color.  Cards talk and numbers don't lie.  Obamanistas are all job killers.
