Tea Party Movement Contract From America

In 1994, Newt Gingerich and the Republican Party developed the Contract FOR America to win back the Congress. This election year, it is the Tea Party Movement that has developed the Contract FROM America to tell politicians of all parties what WE THE PEOPLE want as we take back our country. The following common sense concepts represent the will of the majority of the American people:

1. Individual Liberty is paramount and freedom of expression must be protected at all costs.
2. Limited Government is the basis for our democracy. Government that governs least governs best.
3. Economic Freedom and free market capitalism is the basis for our prosperity. Obama's Socialism is not the American way.
4. Support the Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by our current Socialist President, former Presidents, Congresses or the Courts.
5. Reject Obama's Socialist CAP & TAX Scheme that will significantly raise energy cost for American families.
6. Demand a balanced budget and stop Obama's trillions of dollars in deficit spending that is bankrupting our country and will lead to economic collapse.
7. Enact fundamental tax reform to simplify the tax code and insure tax fairness. The notion that 50% of the people pay little or no income taxes at all is outrageous.
8. Restore fiscal responsibility.
9. End run away government spending.
10. Repeal and Replace Obama's HealthScare Plan.
11. Develop real energy independence by developing all of our current energy sources as a bridge to the future.
12. Stop the pork barrel, corrupt spending.
13. Stop the tax hikes.

Americans are very angry indeed and we are not going to take it any more. The Tea Party Movement has it right. President Obama and the Socialists that control Congress are completely out of touch with the American people. Federal and state governments are simply out of control. It is time for the people to take back the powers that we granted to the government. Politicians have proven over and again that they cannot be trusted with our money. We must sweep these Socialists out of office in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives committed to the Contract From America. The tidal wave is coming in November. We can do it. We must do it to save our country for our children and grandchildren.
