Governor Charlie Crist - RINO Turncoat

Just a month ago Governor Charlie Crist of Florida, who was running in the Republican primary seeking the party's nomination for US Senate said on Fox News that he was running as a Republican and that he would support the winner of the primary. That was then and this is now. Of course, that was before Marco Rubio, his opponent, was ahead by 20 percentage points in the polls. Crist was sure to lose to Rubio, the Conservative Republican candidate because Charlie Crist was the classic RINO, a Republican In Name Only.

Crist, literally embraced Obama in a fateful hug and supported Obama's trillion dollar SwindleUS Plan that has been a complete failure. Just recently, Governor Crist vetoed a bill, passed by the Republican controlled state legislature in Florida, that would have allowed teachers to be fired for incompetence because it was opposed by the teacher unions. Clearly, Charlie Crist was no Republican. That is for sure. As such, when he pulled out of the Republican primary today and declared himself an Independent candidate for the US Senate, it should have been no surprise to anyone. I say good riddance.

It really is best that RINO's like Crist and Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Arnold Schwarzenager leave the Republican Party since they tend to be big government, career politicians much more like the Socialists in the United States. We do need a two party system; but we also need clarity in our political system. It is best that the nation see the Socialists, that some call Democrats, for what they are, tax and spend radicals who support big government, deficit spending, high taxes and more regulation designed to control all aspects of our lives, a weak national defense, CAP & TAX and HealthScare, unrestricted abortion and limits on gun rights.

And, in opposition should be the Conservative Party, presumably called the Republican Party, that supports free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, term limits, a balanced budget, a strong national defense, real energy independence and health care reform, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. Most important, we need to elect Conservatives who support the Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by our current Socialist President, former Presidents, Congresses or the Courts.

Career politicians like Governor Charlie Crist have no ideology except what is good for Charlie Crist. And, the last thing we need is another RINO in Congress who will support Obama's agenda and "reach across the aisle" in the spirit of compromise to limit our freedoms. This is how we have ended up with government that is out of control today. We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing true Conservatives who can be trusted to oppose Obama's Socialist Schemes. Mario Rubio is that candidate in Florida. Sue Lowden is that candidate in Nevada. Pat Toomey is that candidate in Pennsylvania. We must take back our country. We can do it. We must do it.
