Arizona Got It Right

The state of Arizona has enacted legislation aimed at dealing with illegal aliens in their state. The new law gives law enforcement the right to request identification, if there is a reasonable suspicion that the person in question may be an illegal alien. And, this apparently will be done in the normal course of doing business not by random racial profiling. Of course, the Socialists in the United States including, you guest it, the city of San Francisco are calling for a boycott of the state of Arizona. That makes me want to go and spend money in Arizona. Perhaps, we should have a Tea Party Movement Convention there.

What was Arizona to do? The federal government, under all recent Presidents of both parties, has failed to gain control of our borders. Arizona apparently has more illegal aliens coming over their border than any other state. The crime rate in Arizona has soared. The illegal drugs passing through Arizona have risen dramatically. The current Governor of Arizona has repeatedly asked the federal government for help only to be ignored by Socialist President Obama. The additional cost to the state of Arizona, that should be funded by the federal government since they have failed to take action, for education and medical care for illegal aliens is huge and is bankrupting border states.

It is now time to send the army to our borders to secure our borders. A country that cannot secure it own borders will not be a country for long. Of course, this is not politically correct and the Socialists will raise holy hell if Obama does it; but there is no other choice. Short of doing this, the state of Arizona had to take action. Americans of Mexican decent do not need to worry about this new law because they do not fit the illegal alien profile. All of the Mexican Americans that I encounter in the work place, or any where else are so obviously American that they would never be asked for their identification. Most speak English and or if they do speak Spanish, it is usually pretty poor Spanish because they are American.

In any case, we must regain control of our borders. Arizona took action because the federal government has failed to do its job. Before considering any immigration reform, which may be needed, first we have to stop the flow of illegal aliens into the United States. This is particularly important because states like California are bankrupt and just can't afford even more cost associated with illegal aliens who are tax users and not tax payers. It is highly doubtful that President Obama and the Socialist that control Congress will solve this problem any time soon.

In order to take back our country, we must elect Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. And, yes we must elect Conservatives that will vote to regain control of our borders once and for all. We have to take back our country. We can do it. We must do it.
