Israel Must Develop Nuclear Weapons

If Israel does not already have nuclear weapons, it is imperative that the state of Israel develop a nuclear deterrent as quickly as possible because as long Socialist President Obama is in office, the United States will not be a reliable ally. Obama's dangerous stated policy to narrow the circumstances under which the US will use nuclear weapons to defend our country and/or our allies exposes our nation and Israel to its enemies, like Iran and perhaps Syria that is also seeking nuclear weapons, in a way that should be unacceptable to Israel. Based on Obama's recent actions, it is clear that Obama is no friend of Israel.

Clearly, Iran is developing nuclear weapons and the delivery system necessary to strike Israel. The Chinese and perhaps the Russians will not allow meaningful sanctions that would have any chance of working. And, even if there were meaningful sanctions, there is no guarantee that the fanatics in Iran would discontinue their nuclear program because they see Obama as weak and ineffective since he is clearly Jimmy Carter II. While Israel may be able to implement a military strike that would set back Iran's nuclear program for a while, it is unlikely that Israel alone could entirely destroy Iran's nuclear capability. Complete destruction would only be possible if the US participates in the strike and that will never happen as long as Obama is President of the US. And, such a strike would cause global economic chaos and reprisals against Israel by unreliable European countries and others so it would only make matters worse.

Instead and like always, Israel must recognize that it cannot rely on any other nation to protect its people or nation. The motto of NEVER AGAIN must be applied to protect the state of Israel. As such, the only alternative is for Israel to develop nuclear weapons and appropriate delivery systems to create a deterrent against its enemies to maintain the balance of power. This is just International Relations 325. Iran, or any other enemy of Israel, must understand that Israel has the capability to utterly destroy its enemies in the event nuclear, biological or chemical weapons were ever launched against Israel. And, this also means that Israel must develop its own missile defense system to destroy any incoming missiles. This is a matter of national survival and as such Israel has no choice but to defend itself by any and all means.

It is a sad day when Israel cannot count on the United States. Though the vast majority of the American people support Israel because we recognize our mutual enemies, our naive, Socialist President Obama is clearly not a friend of Israel. Hopefully, Obama will be a one term President, which will end this travesty; but until then the Israeli people must recognize that the US is not a reliable ally.

We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives who support a strong national defense necessary to defend our country and allies, limited government, lower taxes and less regulations, a balanced budget, real energy independence, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. Most important, we must elect Conservatives who support the US Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by our current Socialist President, former Presidents, Congresses and the Courts. The tidal wave is coming that will sweep these Socialists out of office as we take back our country. We can do it. We must do it to preserve and protect both our nation and our allies around the world.
