Iranian Leader Call Protests "American Spring"

General Masoud Jazeyeri of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the Gestapo like organization in Iran that enforces the "rules" in Iran to deny their citizens the freedoms we enjoy in the United States, has referred to the protest we see on our streets as the "American Spring".  Of course, this is a comparison to the Arab Spring that has brought down dictators in the Middle East in 2011.   First, in case Jazeyeri has lost his calendar, this is Fall not Spring; but more important, if these protests were happening in Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard would be cracking heads and probably murdering many of their people as in happening in Syria.

So for anyone in Iran to say anything about the protests on our streets is really ludicrous.   Even though the protesters on our streets are very misguided,  they have every right to march, make signs and to otherwise exercise their freedom of assembly and speech, as guaranteed by our Constitution in the Bill of Rights, as long as they are peaceful.  The only problem with the protesters on our streets is that they are directing their anger against the wrong people.  Yes, there are culprits on Wall Street and in our Banks that share some responsibility for the financial collapse we have experienced in the last few years; but the even bigger culprit are the Socialists  in government that refused to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac when requested to do so by none other than President George W Bush.   And, let's not forget that millions of people both work for and own stock in the corporations the protesters are accusing of greed.   These very same corporations give millions to charities, schools and to fund the arts.

In fact, it is Socialists like Barnie Frank, Chuckie Schumer and Chris Dodd and many others that should all be in jail not in Congress because they are crooks.   Many of these Socialists, including none other than Barack Obama and some Republicans, were all on the take getting huge campaign contributions from Fannie and Freddie, which is the reason they refused to regulate these quasi-governmental agencies that funded all the sub prime mortgage loans that were the basis of the financial crisis.

The young people participating in these protests, even if they are college graduates, are very poorly educated and have been brain washed for years by their left wing Socialist teachers into believing in "social justice", or the redistribution of income.   It does not matter to these Socialists and Communists that 10% of wage earners already pay 70% of all income taxes in the United States and that the top 1% of wage earners pay 40% of all income taxes.  The fact that the bottom 50% of wage earners pay no income taxes at all is not progressive enough for Socialists and Communists.  If they could they would confiscate all wealth in order to support all their Socialist Schemes and their PEEP's with even more entitlements that are bankrupting our country.  This would ultimately lead to poverty and misery for all as has happened in virtually every Socialist, or Communist country in the world.  These ideologies also lead to loss of freedom and in some cases murder.  We are not going to let that happen under any circumstances.   So forgetaboutit!!

The people protesting on our streets see the gravy train coming to an end; not because Republicans are taking control of government, but because the United States is broke.  The money is just not there to continue allowing these people to feed at the trough any longer.   And, some of these kids that chose to take out student loans to pay for living expenses and university tuition, rather than work their way through college, as many people have in the past including this Blogger, now find themselves owing thousands of dollars that they must repay.   These young kids did not read the fine print.   Even filing bankruptcy does not erase student loans.   So now these young kids are saying holy crap, I really have to repay these loans.    Yep, that is how it works.

Since jobs are not plentiful, though unemployment among college graduates is only 4.5%, many have had to take entry level jobs that perhaps pay $30,000 - $40,000 a year.  And lets face it, between credit card debt, student loans and car payments,  it is not possible to live the good life on this income.   That probably means living home with Mom and Dad, which is not much fun for either Mom and Dad, or their young prodigy.   Some of these young kids do not know how to work.   The notion of having to report to work every day at 8:30 am and staying until 5 or 6 pm is a foreign concept to many young kids that do not understand the concept of either hard work, or delayed gratification.   So now they are on our streets protesting asking the question, is this all there is.

And of course, since Socialist President Obama will not accept responsibility for his failures, these same young kids that are Obama's PEEP's seek to blame the "rich" many of whom are small businesses owners that worked hard for what they have, Wall Street, Banks and Corporations for their plight.   In essence, we now have college graduates that seek to be "victims" encouraged by big unions, the left wing Media, the Hollywood Elite and Socialists and Communists seeking to take advantage of the winter of their discontent.

The truth is that we have Takers and Makers in our country.  The 50% of hard working Americans that pay all the taxes are the Makers.   The other 50%, that includes many of the people protesting on our streets, are the Takers.    The Takers want the Makers to not only support their own families; but to support them as well through various entitlements etc.   No doubt, we will shortly hear many of the college graduates that borrowed thousands of dollars to attend university rather that work to put themselves through school, asking that their student loans be "forgiven" at the expense of the Makers.  No way Jose.

Additionally, government employees that receive total compensation and benefits that are 20 - 40% higher than is typical in the private sector are also Takers feeding at the trough at the expense of the Makers.  These union employees are supporting these protests because they see their significant income and benefits threatened.   If our schools and other infrastructure are falling apart, it is because we are over paying our government employees.   Clearly, if government employees were paid in line with the private sector, there would be billions of dollars available for infrastructure without the need for any tax increases.   In fact, taxes could be cut to stimulate economic growth and job creation in the private sector.  WE THE PEOPLE that pay all the bills are saying ENOUGH.   And though the Makers give a lot to support charities, we are fed up with the Takers.

So while the Iranian general that referred to the protests happening on our streets as the American Spring, what he missed is that we are going to have the American Fall in November of 2012, when we take back our country by sweeping President Obama and his Socialist pals in government out of office.   We are going to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 to preserve our freedoms, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren and even those protesting on our streets.  Those poor, young, misguided protesters are being manipulated by Socialists and Communists that really want to destroy our nation.   We are not going to let that happen.   Instead, we will work to roll back 100 years of Socialism to create an opportunity society that will greatly benefit those young kids on our streets and everyone else.
