Protesters On Wall Street & In Other Cities

It is very interesting to contrast Protesters on Wall Street, calling for the demise of capitalism and free markets with Tea Party Protesters.   This Blogger has been to several Tea Party Protests, including two in Washington DC.   What I saw at Tea Party Protests were patriotic American taxpayers, of all ages and races, that support limited Constitutional government, an end to deficit spending that is bankrupting our country, paying off our National Debt and rolling back 100 years of Socialist creep that is destroying our country.   Somehow this is described by Socialists as "racist".  Go figure.  Since when is common sense and fiscal sanity racist.

As we see Protesters on Wall Street, that appear to be Socialists, Communists, or maybe even Anarchists, these kids look like bums.  Most of them are calling for redistribution of income in the name of social justice in accordance with Socialist President Obama's Class Warfare re-election strategy, but they do not know what they are talking about.   Some of these Protesters don't even know what they are protesting.   Obama continues to divide our nation to rile up these malcontents because the President is desperate to win re-election at all cost.   Since Obama has no record of accomplishment to run on, he must create an enemy, "the rich", big greedy corporations, oil companies, or the enemy of the day, portrayed in the Class Warfare struggle to stir up his left wing base.    It really is both sad and destructive.

These Protesters decry "corporate greed"; but what they may not realize is that the 50% of Americans that pay all the income taxes in this country own stock in corporations through their 401K's, or other pension systems.   Even public employee pension funds are invested in stocks and bonds.   Oh I forgot, these Protesters are probably in the 50% of Americans that pay no income taxes at all, which may be the reason that corporate profits don't matter much to them.

Here are the facts.   Just 4.5% of college graduates are unemployed.   Most of the employed in our country lack higher education, or marketable jobs skills thanks to our public school system.   70% of Americans work for small companies with 100 employees or less, not huge global firms.   Yes, there is greed on Wall Street; but probably no more so than exists on main street; though clearly the amount of money that changes hands on Wall Street is huge and subject to monkey business.   Since millions of productive Americans, including many in the middle class, own stocks and bonds,  corporate profitability is critical to their retirements.

While the Protesters attempt to blame corporate America, the job creators, for the current financial calamity and recession,  if there is to be blame, Socialists in government are equally responsible for the financial collapse that occurred in the last few years because they insisted that sub prime loans be made to their PEEP's, people who could not qualify for home loans under normal credit rating procedures.   Mortgage companies were accused of "red lining" by Socialists in Congress for not making loans to their PEEP's.  Yes, Wall Street and big mortgage companies and banks, after first refusing to make these loans,  finally agreed under threat of additional regulation and a realization that money could be made.   So there is plenty of guilt and blame to go around and some of these characters should be in jail not in Congress.    The Protesters on Wall Street just don't know the history, or maybe any history.

The left wing Protesters we see on Wall Street and other cities around the country live in a dream world.   These people actually support Socialism and Communism even though these failed ideologies have led to poverty, misery, a lower standard of living for those living under these systems and finally repression and murder.   As a former history teacher, I want to get these characters into a classroom to teach them world history because obviously they were not taught the truth, by their Socialist teachers, in the public schools many of them probably attended.

Capitalism, with all its boom and bust cycles and warts is the best system ever conceived in human history specific to creating wide spread wealth and not just for the "rich"; but for all Americans.   Why do you think that even Communist China now implements a form of state Capitalism under their Communist system.   The only problem with China is that while about 200 million Chinese have entered the middle class, meaning that they can live a decent life, still way below what is common in America, after 62 years of Communism,  the reality is that the government controls most of the wealth in China, rather than the majority of their billion plus people.  As a result, several hundred million people in China still live in poverty because they have not fully embraced Capitalism, real free markets and limited government.  China is still a command and control Socialist economy where government controls economic outcomes and chooses winners and losers; much the same way Obama is attempting to do through crony capitalism.

Cards talk and numbers don't lie; but Socialists and Communists do lie.   While we have 25 million people in the United States that are either unemployed, working part time that want full time work, or they have just given up looking for work altogether, we do have 125 million other Americans that are gainfully employed, living normal, if not highly stressed lives because of President Obama and all his Socialist Schemes.  And, while 43 million people are on Food Stamps, to be sure a record number, 272 million Americans are presumably not on Food Stamps, or Welfare of any kind.

And, while a few million homeowners have experienced foreclosures, there are many more millions of Americans still making their mortgage payments, even if they are upside down on their mortgages.  So while times are tough thanks to Socialist President Obama's failed economic policies and millions of Americans have been negatively impacted by Obama's Socialist Schemes, there are many more that are living life every day, business as usual.

The Protesters we see on Wall Street are reminiscent of the Hippies we saw in the 60's and 70's.  Many of those kids actually came from wealthy families, which allowed them to attend university without the need to work.   The kids we see on Wall Street today have been brainwashed by their Socialist public school union teachers.  Remember, they don't teach American history any more in public schools, except to bash our country.   One of the first things Obama did when he became President was go on his "apology tour" around the world to blame America for all the world's ills.   The only problem with all of this for Socialists is that this is not the 60's and 70's.   Patriotic Americans have stood up and said ENOUGH.    We are not going away any time soon as we are very focused on taking back our country in 2012 and 2014 to finish the job we began in 2010.

The fact that the United States has repeatedly shed blood and treasure to preserve freedom around the world somehow got lost in the translation during Obama's apology tour.   So the Protesters we see on Wall Street and other cities around the country are Obama's kids.  These no nothing kids are Obama's PEEP's, except they are not too pleased with the President either because many of them have concluded that Obama is too "moderate".   Now that is really a hoot, when it is clear that President Obama is the most left wing, radical President in American history.    I know that to be the case because I taught American history and government and I learned my lessons well.   I know a left wing Socialist radical when I see one.   Obama is the real deal.   Of that we can be sure.
