The War on Capitalism - Dangerous For Our Nation

During the past 200 years, Socialists and their first cousins, Communists have waged war on Capitalism. In western Democracies, Socialists, working with unions and the left wing media, have argued for redistribution of income in the name of Social Justice. Many entitlements have been enacted over the years that are bankrupting these countries. Communists in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, China and other countries murdered millions in the name of equality and the rights of the proletariat. In every case, where either Socialism or Communism has been tried, instead of the promised Utopia, it has led to misery, a lower standard of living and less freedom.

Yet, there are still advocates of these failed ideologies around the world. We see it in the United States as President Obama and his Socialist supporters continue to make class warfare arguments related to both income and estate taxes. How much tax is enough? For Socialists, the answer is that they would like to see all wealth confiscated. In a Socialist's world the rich are evil people who have gained their wealth, not through hard work and intelligence; but rather by taking advantage of the poor around the world. Socialists seek to redress this evil through redistribution of income and bigger government to take care of the poor who become wards of the state.

The end result is less freedom for all. The income tax in the US began in 1913 under Socialist President Woodrow Wilson at a very low percentage and today, Socialists contend that the top personal rate of 35% is not enough. If they could get away with it, they would like to see the personal tax rate at 90% or higher where it once was under President Roosevelt. And, the compromise between Obama and the Republicans would put the Estate Tax at the same 35% after the first $5,000,000 in inheritance. Of course, this so called wealth that represents potential inheritance has already been taxes once, so an Estate Tax is actually double taxation at any rate.

Socialists and Communists continue to wage war on Capitalism, which is dangerous to our nation. Capitalism with all its warts and boom and bust cycles, is the only system ever devised in human history that has created wide spread prosperity and the highest standard of living in history. The so called rich make investments that are the basis for job creation. Bigger government does nothing but destroy jobs. Socialist Schemes like ObamaCare, Cap & Tax, stifling Financial and Environmental Wacko Regulations will just result in more jobs going overseas and a lower standard of living for the American people.

Socialists just don't get it. Apparently, they never read Adam Smith, or Milton Friedman, or learned the lessons of Economics 101. Instead, they adhere to Karl Marx and various Socialist economists that are clueless. If we are to have prosperity in the United States, we must sweep these Socialists out of office by electing Conservatives who support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in our nation.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives who will adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists in the last 97 years, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2012 and 2014 by sweeping these Socialists out of office. We can do it. We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren. We must work to keep the American dream alive.
