Dream Act Is A Nightmare

Socialists in the Lame Duck Congress, in their last gasp of power, are attempting to push through the Dream Act, which is actually a nightmare back door to amnesty for illegal aliens. The Dream Act would allow millions of illegal aliens, not born in the United States, who graduate from American high schools to become American citizens if they earn a two year college Associates degree, or serve in the military. It seems like a good idea; however, once a son or daughter is an American citizens, they can apply for their parent's, who are already in the US illegally and relatives to join them, which is an eventual road to citizenship for all, as well.

The Socialists know how to work the system and their goal is to give amnesty to the 12 million illegal aliens, or more, that are already in the US to convert them into Socialist voters dependent on them and the federal government for sustenance. The Dream Act is all about Socialists retaining power, not just giving young illegal aliens a path to citizenship. We have been down the amnesty road once before during the Reagan Administration, when illegal aliens were given amnesty in exchange for securing the border. We all know the end of that bait and switch story, don't we. The border was never secured and is not secure today.

Before we give amnesty for any reason to any illegal aliens, Socialist President Obama needs to send the army to the border to secure it once and for all. This solves a few problems. First, securing the border will stop drugs from coming into our country, which cost the American people billions of dollars in criminal justice, prison and medical expenses each year. Second, there potential Terrorists coming across our border that want to murder Americans. Third, the 12 million illegal aliens already in the United States are tax users not tax payers.

Border states are spending billions of dollars every year on welfare, criminal justice, medicaid and education dealing with illegal aliens that is contributing to the bankruptcy of these states. We simply cannot be Mexico's welfare system any longer. While illegal aliens in the United States are generally hard working people, working for low wages, the cost to support them is simply unsustainable. In other words, we just can't afford any more illegal aliens in the United States.

Of course, the Socialists will never take action to really deal with the illegal alien problem that is contributing to the bankruptcy of our country. Hopefully, the Dream Act, which has passed in the Socialist controlled House of Representatives will die an ugly nightmare death in the Senate. We need a comprehensive immigration reform bill that starts with securing the border before any other actions are taken that would give current illegal aliens any kind of legal status in our country. We have seen that story before. We should not reward illegal aliens and their children, who have broken our laws, with citizenship.

Since Socialists will do nothing to secure our border, it is just one more reason we must sweep these Socialists out of office in 2012 and 2014 by electing Conservatives that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including SECURING OUR BORDER and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in our country.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives who will adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists in the last 97 years, former President, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2012 and 2014 and securing the border must be a priority. We can do it. We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life and for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
