Obama To Appoint Deficit Commission - A Big Joke

President Obama is using an Executive Order to appoint a Deficit Commission that has been rejected by Congress. Obama has selected Erskine Bowles, an old Clinton Democrat Socialist and Alan Simpson, the former Republican Senator from Wyoming to co-chair this Commission. Of course, it will be a complete waste of time because none of the suggestions are binding on Congress. Further, why is a Commission needed anyway? Obama proposed a budget of $3.8 Trillion for 2011, which will result in a deficit of $1.6 Trillion. In other words, President Obama wants to spend $1.6 Trillion more than the federal government will have in revenues for 2011.

We don't need a Commission to tell us that to prevent the deficit, the federal government must either raise taxes by $1.6 Trillion, even more than the result of allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire, which will automatically happen at the end of 2010, or the government must cut spending by $1.6 Trillion in 2011. The Democrat Socialists on the Commission will push for even more tax increases rather than cut spending. The Republicans on the Commission will push for spending cuts rather than raise taxes. And, then there will be those in the middle that will want to split the difference. What other possible solutions can there be?

Let there be no doubt that President Obama is attempting to use this Deficit Commission as cover to raise taxes on all Americans even though he repeatedly promised that he would only raise taxes on those making more than $200,000 a year. Obama has said that he is now "agnostic" about raising taxes, which means that to fund all of his Socialist Schemes, if he needs to raise taxes on all, Obama will do it. But, this should be no surprise.

The Obama Trillion dollar deficits projected for each of the next ten years are simply not sustainable. If Obama is not stopped, his Socialist Schemes will cause the economic collapse of the United States. We cannot allow that to happen. Now, Obama wants to meet with Republicans to discuss a bi-partisan approach to his HealthScare Plan as long as it means passing the 2,700 page monstrosity enacted by Democrat Socialists Reid and Pelosi. The Republicans should boycott this meeting. It is a sham. We want NO COMPROMISE on any of Obama's Socialist Schemes including HealthScare, CAP & TAX and all other tax increases, or limits on our freedoms.

We must elect common sense Conservatives in 2010 and 2012 to effectively end the Obama Presidency sooner than later. We don't need a Deficit Commission that will recommend raising taxes to fund all of Obama's Socialist Schemes. Instead, we need Conservatives in office that support a balance budget, lower taxes and less regulation, limited government, free market capitalism, term limits, energy independence, a strong military, the sanctity of life and family values. The time is now to sweep the Democrat Socialists, including Obama, from office. The tidal wave is coming. We can do it in 2010 and 2012. We will do it.
