Obama's "Economic Patriotism"

Socialist President Obama is on the campaign trail arguing that it is "Economic Patriotism" to support his big government, deficit spending Socialist Schemes.   This means according to Obama that it is Economic Patriotism to borrow 40 cents of every dollar spent by the federal government, adding to our $16 Trillion National Debt with no end in sight.   Funny how Obama's tune has changed.   When he was running for President in 2008, Obama said it was "unpatriotic" to continue the deficit spending, at the time about $400 Billion a year under Bush II, rather than the Trillion dollars each year that Obama has added to our National Debt every year he has been in office, more than any other President in American history. 

Again, according to Obama, it is Economic Patriotism to raise taxes on families and businesses earning more than $250,000 a year even though they are already paying 70% of all income taxes paid in the United States, while 50% of Americans, Obama's PEEP's pay no income taxes at all.   Our Founding Fathers, who declared Independence and fought the Revolutionary War to free our nation from tyranny must be turning over in their graves. 

Keep in mind, when the Constitution was written, there was no federal income tax at all.   The federal income tax was imposed by Socialist President Woodrow Wilson, by Constitutional Amendment in 1913 and it was originally only 1 - 3%, not the current 35% at the top rate that Obama wants to raise to nearly 40%.   All combined, even without raising income taxes, many in America face a total tax burden for both state and federal taxes of well over 50%.   Yet, King Obama wants to raise taxes even higher.   We fought a Revolutionary War to avoid confiscatory taxes at much lower levels than today. 

The fabric of our society is falling apart as we are divided between Makers, those that are productive in our country and Takers, those on the dole one way or another.  100 million Americans receive some kind of government assistance for Welfare, Food Stamps, Medicaid and Disability.   This does not include Senior Citizens on Social Security and Medicare.   This level of government dependence is not sustainable; yet Obamanistas and Socialists in Congress are doing everything they can to make even more Americans dependent on government as their ticket to power so that they can continue feeding at the trough.

To get our country back on track we must make Obama a one term President and gain Republican control of both Houses of Congress.  We must elect Mitt Romney, the next President of the United States.   We see dismal economic results as second quarter Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was reported to be just 1.3%.   We need 3% or higher GDP growth to see any improvement in unemployment and our economy.   We see the end result of four years of Obamanomics.  It has to end. 

We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 by electing Conservatives committed to free market economics, limited government, lower taxes and less regulations and energy independence.   This is the only way to restore economic growth and job creation again in America.  We can do it.  We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.   In the mean time, just know that Obama's "Economic Patriotism" is a road to higher poverty and unemployment and a lower standard of living for the American people.   There is no reason to believe that four more years of Obama will produce any better results.
