Obama's PEEP's - Reality Check

While answering a question by a Supporter concerning what it would take for Mitt Romney to win the election, Governor Mitt Romney talked about Obama's PEEP's, the 47% of Americans that pay no income taxes at all that Romney said will vote Obama no matter what.   The reality is that it is closer to 50% and Obama's PEEP's also include those on the dole, public employee and some other union members, radical left wing women, those that support giving amnesty to illegal aliens, radical environmentalists, trial lawyers and crony capitalists.   We saw them all on display during the Socialist Convention. 

These Americans, many feeding at the trough and dependent on government for their sustenance will never vote for a Republican, no matter who he, or she is because Republicans want to shrink the size of government, which is a threat to all of Obama's PEEP's.   There are about 100 million Americans on the dole, one way or another and that does not include those on Social Security and Medicare.   These people are bankrupting our country; but they obviously don't care.   And, of course, Socialists like Obama want them dependent on government as their ticket to power. 

Mitt Romney will go into the election with John McCain's 47% as his base.   Romney must pick up about 3.5% of the people that voted for Obama in 2008 to win the election.  In particular, Romney must do it in about 10 key states.  40 states are already Blue or Red.   These votes, if they happen, will come from Independents that make up about 20% of voters.  If Obama wins reelection, it will be because he may be more "likable" than Mitt Romney, not because the majority of Americans believe that Obama's Socialist Schemes are good for the country.  All the polls say that Americans disapprove of Obama's job performance. 

What ever happens, the House of Representatives will remain Republican and the Senate is now a toss up that could go either way.   We need to make Obama a one term President by electing Mitt Romney, the next President of the United States and gaining Republican control of both Houses of Congress.  It is the only way to restore respect for America around the world and economic growth and job creation again in our country.    In the mean time, the reality is Obama's PEEP's are what they are; Americans feeding at the trough.   It is what it is.
