Obama, Obama - "We Are All Osama"

Radical Islamists are protesting against the US in more than 20 countries, screaming Obama, Obama, "We Are All Osama", a reference to their hero Osama Bin Laden, the dead Terrorist Leader.  At the same time, we have Socialist President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talking about Islam and "tolerance" as an Islamic tenet.  What planet do Obama and Clinton live on?

Can we at least get the facts straight.  Islam is perhaps the most intolerant religion on earth.   Muslims see women as second class citizens.   In many Islamic countries women do not have property rights and there is no such thing as "community property".  Islamic men, who can practice polygamy and often do, can divorce a woman by just saying "I divorce you" three times and the marriage is over.   When that happens the kids stay with dad not mom.   And, in many Islamic countries women are prohibited from doing certain jobs and pursing certain fields in higher education.  These are not free countries, certainly not for women. 

In some Islamic countries, girls are not allowed to attend school at all, which is exactly what would be happening in Afghanistan if we were not there.  Women in Saudi Arabia are not even allowed to drive.   The Saudi government funds madrases schools all over the world that teach the most intolerant form of Islam, which by the way teaches death to infidels, including Jews and Christians that do not convert to Islam.

Further, in some instances young girls that practice "Western" dress and culture have literally been killed by their families.   Openly Gay and Lesbian Muslims could be killed by Islamic fanatics.   In addition, there is no religious freedom in many Islamic countries.   It is literally illegal to be a Christian or a Jew in many Islamic countries and since there are no churches or temples in these countries, practice of other religions is prohibited and under ground.   Attempting to convert a Muslim to Christianity could be punishable by death, or years in jail.  Even expatriates living in these countries must worship in their own homes or underground.   

A very large percentage of Muslims around the world hold these very beliefs, hence the protests we see in 20 or more countries.   Many Muslims hate Western style culture, freedom and values.   They want to see a Muslim kingdom in the Middle East, ruled by religious zealots, much like what is happening in Iran.  Yes, there are some Muslim moderates in the world, probably living in Western countries.  Ironically, Saddam Hussein and Hosni Mubarak attempted to build a more secular society in Iraq and Egypt.   We know the end of that story.   Turkey is the most moderate of Muslim countries by historical tradition; but even Turkey recently elected a fundamentalist government. 

What ever is happening in Muslim countries, we should at least acknowledge the truth.   There are radical Muslims that want to go back 800 years to the Middle Ages when they ruled the Middle East.   Iran would like to restore the Persian Empire they once ruled before Alexander the Great destroyed it.  Things are getting worse in the Middle East, not better, as a result of Socialist President Obama's weakness.   These radicals only respect and or fear strength.  They see Obama as their means of achieving their goals in the Middle East, particularly since they want to destroy Israel. 

We must implement Ronald Reagan's Peace Through Strength strategy when dealing with the rest of the world.   Socialist President Obama is instead following the strategy of appeasement that led to World War II.   We must learn the lessons of history, not repeat the same mistakes.  We must elect Mitt Romney, the next President of the United States and gain Republican control of both Houses of Congress to restore respect for America in the world, economic growth and job creation again in America.   They all go together.   We must make Obama a one term President to get our country back on track and stop the murders of Americans and the flag burning all over the world.
