Obama's Gestapo Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

The Dodd Frank Financial Regulation bill, enacted by Socialist Crooks in Congress, like Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd, included something called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, another Gestapo Agency, much like the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Labor Relations Board, as managed by Socialist President Obama.  It is reported that the CFPB will have an annual $500 million budget, with no accountability to Congress, or anyone else to go out and terrorize mortgage companies, banks and other lenders with new regulations that will make it difficult if not impossible to do business in the name of Consumer Protection. 

To make matters worse, Obama used a Recess Appointment to make Richard Cordray, a former Attorney General of Ohio, the Director of this new Gestapo Agency.   The only problem is that the Senate was not in Recess making this appointment unconstitutional.  Obama does not care as he has announced that he intends to do whatever he wants, bypassing the Congress, as he chooses.   Apparently, Obama the Dictator and Chief believes he rules by Divine Right, like a King, rather than by Constitutional authority.  His majesty Obama, the King, is out of control.   

The United States is going bankrupt.  Obama is borrowing 40 cents out of every dollar that he spends adding to our $15 Trillion National Debt.  Instead of eliminating redundant programs, agencies, commissions and departments to prevent the bankruptcy of our country, Socialist President Obama continues to grow the government even bigger.   Adding this additional job killer, Gestapo agency, will only make it harder for the poor and middle class to get credit.  Consumer Protection is about education, not more legislation, or regulation.   There are already tons of laws on the books to protect Consumers. 

Years ago, this Blogger taught a 9th grade Social Studies elective called Dollar Power.  This 20 week course was focused on badly needed Consumer Education.   The fact is that all students should be required to take a Consumer Education course before graduating from high school to learn about responsible use of credit, buying and selling goods and services and the free market economy.  

And, Obama's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is an overlay of state Consumer Protection Agencies that have been in place for years.  This is just one more duplication of agencies like the Department of Education that also exists in every state government.  The United States is BROKE.   When are these Socialists going to figure out that we can't continue adding redundant programs, agencies, commission and departments to the federal government, year after year.   We have to shrink the size of the federal government from Obama's 25% of GDP down to 17 or 18% of GDP at most, to allow the private sector to create economic growth and new jobs.  

The elections of 2012 and 2014 will present a very distinct choice.   Continue to follow Obama down the Socialist path to bankruptcy and the economic collapse of our nation, or stop the fiscal insanity that exists in Washington DC.   We have to take back our country in 2012 and 2014 to prevent the bankruptcy of our nation.   We must sweep Socialists, at all levels of government, including President Obama out of office because they are reckless and irresponsible and will destroy our nation if they are allowed to prevail.   We can't let that happen.  

We have to put on our hip boots to drain the swamp that is Washington DC and send these characters packing to get our country back our track.   We can do it.  We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren.   We don't need any more government agencies to limit our freedom and make our lives miserable.  Quite enough of them already exist that must be eliminated and the sooner the better.
