Governor Moon Beam - Things Are Different This Time

Socialist Governor Moon Beam, Jerry Brown of California in his State of the State Address stated that "things are different this time" as he called for a ballot initiative in June to maintain what was supposed to be temporary higher taxes. This is just plain hilarious. Brown is like the junkie on heroin who says if I can just get one more fix that I will quit. The fact is that California has a $25 Billion deficit, which is not much different than has been happening for years. And, even though the California Constitution requires a balanced budget, the Socialists in California who run the state have been selling bonds for years to fund operating expenses to pay off their public employee union supporters in higher wages and pensions that are not sustainable.

So what is different? Brown is saying that if his ballot initiative is not approved by the people, there will have to be major cuts to public schools. SO WHAT!! Public schools in California stink! This is really about the $3.5 million that Brown got from the teachers union for his campaign for Governor. It is payback time. At last count the state of California had about 250,000 employees, 13,000 of which were attorneys. Why doesn't Brown end the deficit by laying offer 50,000 of those employees. No one really knows what they do anyway. We do know that they work in a few hundred regulatory agencies that are driving jobs and business out of California.

California is not different than the federal government that is hooked on deficit spending that is bankrupting our country. What is different is that the people of California are often in La La land when they vote for job killer bills like CAP & TAX that will raise energy costs and push what ever manufacturing is left in California out of state and probably out of the country. The only remedy to deficit spending in California is a bankruptcy filing so that the state can void those public employee union contracts. Raising taxes will only push more jobs out of California so that remedy will be self defeating.

California is the poster child for what happens when Socialists are in control and the reason we must elect Conservatives in 2012 and 2014 that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in our country and in California.

Most important, we must elect Conservatives to take back our country, who will adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, our current or former Presidents, Congresses or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2012 and 2014. We can do it. We must to to prevent more California's, preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren. The Golden state is Golden no more because of Socialist control. It is what it is.
