Government Shut Down - A Good Thing

Socialist President Obama wants to freeze the federal budget at an all time high of spending, which he and the Socialists in Congress enacted in the last two years. If Obama's plan was allowed to go forward, it would mean trillion dollar deficits for years to come and the bankrupcy of our nation. Instead, the Republicans want to cut spending by a measly $100 billion; though there is talk about pushing spending back to 2008 pre-Obama levels. Of course, this is peanuts and will never result in a balanced budget in any case. However, Obama and the Socialists in Congress will not even agree to the $100 Billion cut in spending proposed by the Republicans. So a show down is looming that could result in a government shut down.

The fact is that with the exception of funding the military, we need to shut the government down to force and end to trillion dollar deficit spending. The reality is that the government must learn to live within its means by not spending more money than it takes in. To get there, more than a trillion dollars must be cut in federal government spending in 2011 and going forward. That means eliminating many programs, departments, agencies, ObamaCare etc. etc. etc. The vast majority of the American people, those who pay taxes, who are not on the dole, or otherwise receiving government subsidies, bail outs etc will not even notice the cuts. Those living off the fat of the land, or who otherwise benefit from Crony Capitalism might have to stand on their own two feet rather than depend on the rest of us for their sustenance. This will be good for America since dependency only makes our country and our people weaker.

We need to cut a trillion or more dollars in federal spending each year to starve the beast and shrink the federal government so that we have limited government, as was intended by our Founding Fathers, rather than big government intrusion into every aspect of our lives. Of course, Obama and the other Socialists in Washington will never agree to these cuts in spending, which is just one more reason we must make Obama a one term President in 2012. We must also elect Conservatives in 2012 and 2014, sweeping Socialists out of office at all levels of government, that support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, term limits, real education, energy and health care reform, a strong national defense, including securing our border and fighting Terrorism, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values that are the foundation of our nation. This is the platform supported by the majority of the American people and the only way to restore economic growth and job creation in our country.

Most important, we need to elect Conservatives to take back our country, who will adhere to the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the left wing media, Socialists in the last 98 years, our current or former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts. We must take back our country in 2012 and 2014. We can do it . We must do it to preserve our freedom, our nation and way of life for the sake of our children and grandchildren. So let's shut the government down to get spending under control. Life will go on and we will all be better off if it happens.
