NAACP Attacks The Tea Party Movement

The NAACP, supposedly representing African Americans, fearing a big defeat of the Socialist Party in 2010 and 2012, has attacked the Tea Party Movement in the only way they know how. The NAACP has called the Tea Party Movement "racist". Frankly, playing the race card every time we have an American election is starting to get really old particularly since we have an African American President. As someone who attended the 9/12 Tea Party Protest in 2009, I can say from personal experience that all races and ages were represented at the Protest. I saw absolutely no evidence of racism, or racists at the Protest.

What I did see were American Patriots fighting for our freedoms and our way of life. This movement has nothing to do with race and everything to do with economics and freedom. If Socialist President Obama was White, Asian American, Hispanic American, or any other race, the majority of the American people would oppose his Socialist Schemes no matter what his race because this is a center right country and he is a left wing Socialist President.

I have said many times that the only thing I like about President Obama is that he is an African American because as a former history teacher I appreciate that his election represents a positive milestone in American history. The problem is Obama's Socialist ideology not the color of his skin. For anyone to believe otherwise is just plain delusional and nothing more than race baiting. However, this attack by the NAACP is really about "social justice" the code words used by Socialists for redistribution of income. The NAACP supports redistribution of income and deficit spending to the point of bankrupting our country. We cannot allow that to happen.

There are many African Americans who believe that they are owed reparations, though they would never use that word, because their ancestors suffered slavery. There is no question that slavery was a terrible injustice and that racial discrimination against any one is wrong; but our nation has fortunately come a long way in providing opportunities to those of all races willing to work hard and get a good education. Yes, it is harder for some than for others; but that has always been the case regardless of race. All should remember that immigrants came to America from all countries with nothing, speaking many languages and that most suffered discrimination before entering the mainstream of America through hard work and education.

Most important, Obama's Socialist Schemes will lead to less freedom and a lower standard of living for all Americans including African Americans. Unemployment among African Americans is even higher than among White Americans, which has more to do with an education gap than race. Unemployment is highest among those who have not finished high school, or even with a high school education and that is true for all races. The under educated are also the most unemployed, regardless of race, which should be no surprise to anyone.

Though trillions have been spent on public education particularly in the inner cities, minorities are captive to the public school system that is failing them. Socialists and many African American leaders will not allow School Choice so that African American parents and their children can escape the public schools. In fact, the public schools are the new plantation run by teacher unions for their benefit and another form of slavery that is just as harmful as the old slavery.

Most important, the Tea Party Movement has nothing to do with race. It is comprised of the 50% of Americans of many races who pay all the taxes in this country. This movement is all about tax payers as opposed to tax users. Many in the Tea Party Movement support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget not trillions is deficit spending that is bankrupting our country, term limits, real energy independence and health care reform, a strong national defense, the right to bear arms and family values. It is true that Tea Party Members are opposed to the redistribution of income under the guise of social justice. Most important, Tea Party Members support the Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by the NAACP, Socialists Obama, Reid, Pelosi, former Presidents, Congresses, or the Courts.

We must take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives who support freedom and economic growth and all the things listed above. We must sweep the Socialists out of office and take back our country to preserve our freedoms and for the sake of our children and grandchildren of all races. In doing so, we will advance the interests of ALL Americans.
