Time For Terrorist Profiling - Can Obama Add 2 + 2

There is frequently talk about racial profiling in the US whenever someone is singled out for some sort of law enforcement because of their race. Racial profiling is wrong if in fact it is an act of discrimination against anyone. However, it is time for Terrorist Profiling. Faisal Shahzad, who admittedly attempted to explode a car bomb in Times Square in New York City that would have killed thousands, was born in Pakistan and became a naturalized US citizen. There is nothing odd in that except for the fact that Shahzad apparently made many trips back to Pakistan and spent the last five months in Pakistan, a Terrorist haven. The Taliban in Pakistan is taking credit for this recent attempted bombing; well surprise, surprise.

Can anyone in the White House add 2 + 2 to see the smoking gun? If it is determined that Shahzad has conspired with foreign Terrorist to attack the United States, he should be tried for Treason and given the death penalty. Senator Joe Leiberman of Connecticut, Democrat/Independent, is also proposing a new law which would strip Americans of their citizenship, who conspire with Terrorists against our country. Leiberman has it right.

The federal government, under the direction of Socialist President Obama, is asleep at the wheel. Let's face it. There is a Terrorist profile. Terrorists tend to be young, Islamic Extremist men who come from Muslim countries. Well dah! Obviously not all young Islamic men are Terrorists; however, it is critical that federal law enforcement agencies focus on this population to identify those that are a threat to our nation. Obama and the left wing media would call this racial profiling when in fact it is legitimate Terrorist Profiling.

Our government needs to get serious about protecting our country. This will not happen as long as Obama is President of the United States because Obama does not properly see the threat. When we hear the President, or Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano speak of a Terrorist attack as a "one off" act of Terrorism, it should be obvious that the Obama Administration just does not get it. None of these Terrorist actions are isolated incidents. They are all connected to Al Queda, the Taliban, or Iran. These Islamic Extremists would detonate nuclear, or biological weapons in American cities if they had them. Obviously, we must do whatever is necessary to prevent that from happening.

As such, the FBI or CIA needs to implement Terrorist Profiling to identify persons of interests and put more on the NO FLY list any time activities seem to suggest ties to Terrorists. Yes, some may suffer from this action and be denied Visas to enter the United States; but it is much better to be safe than sorry. Iran is developing nuclear weapons and Iran supports Terrorists around the world. Again, well dah! It is time for President Obama to put 2 + 2 together and see the potential connection between Terrorists around the world. This is a global struggle that is not going away any time soon. How many more Americans and others need to die before Obama gets it?

We need to take back our country in 2010 and 2012 by electing Conservatives who support free market capitalism, limited government, lower taxes and less regulation, a balanced budget, a strong national defense, term limits, the right to bear arms, the sanctity of life and family values. Most important, we must elect Conservatives that support the Constitution as written by our Founding Fathers, not as contrived by our current Socialist President, former Presidents, Congresses or the Courts. And, we must elect a President that understands the threat that Terrorism poses to our nation. We can do it. We must do it for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
